Property Ratings at Montclair Apartments
Considering the lack of non-Section 8 or non-subsidized rentals in Front Royal, there are very few options for people who do not want to rent a house with a huge yard and deal with all of the upkeep. The owner and manager take full advantage of this situation. The service provided appears to be the minimum required by state regulations, and it is provided in a very begrudging, hostile and condescending manner. There are large cracks around the doors and windows. The gaps are so large that wind blows through strong enough to move the drapes. If there is a moderate rain storm, water comes in through the gaps. When I have asked for this to be remedied, I am met with resistance and stonewalling. The general attitude conveyed by management is along the lines of, "At least you have windows and doors. No regulations state those windows and doors need to adequately keep the elements out." You know that the people who own and manage the property would not tolerate such deficiencies where they live. Why should their tenants be subjected to inferior quality?
