North Phoenix refers to the vast swath of land that stretches from Bethany Home Road up towards the Phoenix mountains. Bounded to the east by State Route 51 and to the west by 51st Avenue, North Phoenix is home a slew of diverse communities and neighborhoods all offering a variety of rentals ranging from the upscale to the more affordable. There are numerous golf courses and of course the mountains that offer residents a number of outdoor activities to engage in. For shopping and dining, residents head to Desert Ridge Marketplace on High Street, which is filled with upscale boutiques, nightlife hotspots, restaurants, and more. Property Ratings at Monte Viejo
Good location, can hop right on the 101 and the 51. The front office is always responsive and maintenance men are quick. The gym is smaller but typically empty early in the mornings so it works for me. The pools are nice and typically not crowded during the weekdays. If you live on the north side of the building the traffic can be a bit loud from the 101 but not terrible. There is a nice neighborhood across the street which is safe for walks. Keep in mind you will be paying about $250 more than your base rent after all utilities! (aps, cox, sewer/trash, common area fees, etc.)
