I love living here it gives me instant peace and tranquility when I come to my apartment, the sound of the fountain is so relaxing, the balcony view is also great and all the extras are just wonderful! Like the gym, pool area and everyone treats you nicely! I feel safe and close to many shopping conveniences as well as located in the downtown area is such a plus!

Monte Vista is a nice place to live.Quiet and lots of shady trees and a very good management and maintenance team.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU ARE HOME. We received a DISTURBING phone call today from management that the owners did a property inspection and didn't like the way the screen on our front door looks because they "want consistency," so we were given a three day notice to take it down or move out. This was my email to them: My frustration is toward the owners, and I would like you to relay my frustrations to them. First, with the amount of money we pay in rent, we expect to be able to have our preferred amenities that make our apartment our "home," within reason. While we respect and understand it isn't our property, we find it absolutely absurd that the owners have a problem with a screen on our front door. We keep our door open at night to conserve energy and cool the apartment off, and the screen keeps bugs out. The owners are reacting in a manner like our screen is comparable to a broken down car in the front yard that makes our apartment look like a junk yard. We keep the outside of our apartment nice, as well as the inside. Another source of contention for me is, I find it disgusting that the owners walk around the property to do an inspection, and have a problem with our screen because as you stated, "the owners are very particular about how the outside of their property looks." These apartments are our homes, and the owners get to go home to their actual homes with a yard and all of their freedoms to make their home comfortable with their preferred amenities, and they determined that our screen was aesthetically detrimental to the standards they "uphold" about how the property looks; when I believe our tenancy and our upkeeping of the property adds value to the standards of the property. Are the owners really that cold hearted that they find it necessary to nit pick the tenants about the smallest of amenities? Meanwhile, the owners don't find it necessary to maintain the amenities in the gym... with broken down equipment that is hardly usable. Or how about the pool never locking... so our pool is infiltrated with people that do not reside on the property every weekend!! If the owners are really that shallow and shrewd, we will consider moving on after our lease is up. It blows my mind that owners of a property would really be so shrewd that they find it necessary to issue a three day "get rid of it or quit" notice over a screen that we consider an amenity for our comfort, and aesthetically indifferent.
This is a quiet and green community with accessibility to a great downtown.

Living in Monte Vista Apt feels like living in your own condo. I like that I have my own laundy inside and not have to share like a regular apartments.
Monte Vista is a wonderful place to live.This is my third year here and its been great.Friendly management and maintenance team,always there when you need them.Landscaping is very nice and tenants are very friendly.Very quiet here which is so nice.Thank You Monte Vista
