This is a great place to live! Management is friendly and helpful. Any maintenance issue is always taken care of quickly. The environment is safe and clean. The apartments have been updated recently and look very nice. The pool is great. Overall a really great place to live.

My experience living here has been wonderful! The office staff are very personable and kind! I feel so safe here and it’s very clean here. Also, the maintenance staff is very thorough and they answer my maintenance requests promptly. This was the only apartment complex that met all of my requirements I was looking for upon moving. One of those requirements was a complex that had great ratings across different platforms! I do not regret choosing them at all!

I like the fact that the complex is not so large like some I have seen.
The gym is very small and machines are crowded together. Makes it claustrophobic to workout. The inside of the apartments is dated. It's a quiet place to live in with all the basics. No fancy living here.

The office staff is helpful when I am away. Maintenance has been prompt when needed. I like the location close to downtown and the lake. I like the wood floors and marble counter tops as well as the spacious layout.

The complex is very attractive and well-kept. The apartment floor plans that I considered are very livable and have good storage.
There was a span in which I wasn't 100% sure that I would. My hesitation was based off trash pickup, dumpsters overflowing with trash and furniture, clothes hanging out on patios for days, loitering, landscaping issues. lighting w/n perimeters of property. It's been w/n the last 3-4 months there's been great strides in improvements! Area that's ALWAYS been AMAZING .. THE STAFF!! All the continued efforts being made, I'll surely being renewing my lease!

I would recommend this apartment community without a doubt. I have already referred a friend and received my $50.00 bonus. It's mostly a quiet and definitely a well groomed property. I have lived here almost 2 years and the management has never let me down. My only concern is my rent increasing like it did when I signed my previous lease. I love everything about this place - just hate the thought that rent increases could force me to leave.

We were really hoping for a gated community because the last apartment complex wr lived in was not gated and someone tried breaking in while we were in the apartment. It was scary.
Thank you for fixing the heating problem so quickly. The heat is working much better, but I need more time to assess if it is working properly, as it should.
Great location, great office staff, great maintenance. The neighbors are fairly quiet for the most part, although some people walk around the lot talking loudly at night, and I occasionally find discarded beer bottles/cans outside/on my patio in the morning. Some neighbors have had their car alarms or horns blaring randomly all throughout the night at times, in which cases they only addressed the situation in the morning. But not much to be done there. My biggest complaint is the strange odors that occasional manifest themselves inside the units; these seem to leak from other units. Specifically, my apartment occasionally reeks of cigarette smoke or other fumes (especially thick in the laundry room, which connects to the outside). This gives me bad headaches until I can fully ventilate the unit. My upstairs neighbor has experienced odors of moth ball in her unit (which I have verified with her). I myself have smelled them too on occasion in my own unit.
I love this community. This is the first place I rented when I first moved to Texas. Only moved on the rent being to high for me. But it's a quiet safe place to live
The apartments are nice and the staff is friendly. There is plenty of parking and the trash pickup five days a week is nice.
I have been at Montelena for 10 years. It would be nice to see some features within the apartment updated (ie.kitchen countertops, flooring).
No washer and dryer in unit. For people moving across country this is a huge draw back. Other places offered all appliances for the same cost and type of location. I needed a short term lease option which is why I had to choose here.
Seems like a nice community. Might not rent here because price is too high for apartment. Wish it was at least $100-200 less per month especially since a W/D and microwave is not provided.
I love the complex and I like how the walls aren't paper thin and everyone I have met has been great. Due to the distance from Denton though I would not recommend any of my friends unless they wouldn't mind the drive.
Service has been great. I've had a few issues and George and Anthony have responded quickly and taken care of them. I've been here for three months, and everything has been fine.
I rented from the sister property across the street. I have never been 100% satisfied with an apartment complex in my life. However StoneLedge delivered! I rented at Montelena because it was the same management company so I assumed the staff onsite would be as wonderful as StoneLedge. I am sad to say it isn?t. StoneLedge is worth the extra money spent to get staff that is on point, professional and responsive to resident needs.
Please be considerate of the staff here. Too many apts rented at the same time puts an unnecessary burden on the staff to maintain the residents already here. Too much paperwork & background checks in a short time. Please help!!
I would recommend this apartment community, because of the staff and the maintenance Dept. They really know how to run a complex. Very clean and guiet.
Emily is great and is willing to help anyone out. She was invaluable in helping get the lease taken care of.
