Straddling the Fox River and home to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Downtown Oshkosh is as scenic as it is exciting. The Oshkosh Riverwalk, complete with boat docks and benches, is a favorite for walking and jogging. The trail begins at Riverside Park, a popular green space along the river. The downtown shopping district features wide sidewalks framing historic buildings for a walkable, bicycle-friendly destination. One of the sweetest destinations in Downtown Oshkosh is also one of its historic -- Oak's Candy Store opened in 1890. Other historic locations include the Grand Opera House, built in 1883, and the Algoma Avenue, North Main Street, and Washington Avenue Historic Districts.
Downtown Oshkosh is home to a variety of events. The Oshkosh Chalk Walk features a variety of artists creating fantastic artwork on the downtown sidewalks. Other events include the Oshkosh Farmers' Market, the Oshkosh Gallery Walk, and the UnWINEd-Wine Walk.

Property Ratings at Morgan Crossing Apartments
Had my partner and my racing bike stolen as well as my school commuting bike asked for the renters insurance that we pay for monthly to cover it told us we were out of luck. Asked for surveillance on it told us there are no working cameras on the property except for on that faces the concord property.
I’ve been a resident for about a year and a half and have had very few issues in my time here. The staff is responsive when the apt needs fixes and the apt’s themselves looks very nice for a good price point. My main concerns was the fact that shipments are often left out at the front door for anyone to just take, and for parking during the school year, the lot is full every night so it’s a scramble to get a spot after 6 pm.
Friendly staff and excellent amenities. If I hadn’t bought a house I would for sure choose to stay living here! Great place near everything.
The location is ideal as it is close to campus but also a short walk to downtown. The staff has been very helpful.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! We were unable to get ahold of them until right before we were supposed to move in so we were unsure if we were even going to be able to live there since nobody ever called us. When we got to the apartment to pick up keys it was filthy and banged up. They claimed to have freshly painted before we'd gotten there but there were black streaks everywhere. The toilets and showers had hair and dirt in them as well. They were quick to offer up to break the lease which struck me as odd unless they're used to this happening ?? We went down to get the lady to come up and look at all of the damages with us and she threw a fit because she had to go upstairs with us so another lady joined us instead. It's just outright ridiculous that staff would act that way in front of a potential renter.
I just want to prevent others from having a bad experience with this company and losing money. Their practices are shady, the property management office never picks up the phone, and they have units showing as available when they are not. The only time I ever could reach them was through email and the person who responded to me never used their name, which is just one of many red flags. I also left messages that were never returned. If you go to their website they have several units showing as available, but make sure to get confirmation in writing that they are truly available before you submit your application. I applied for an apartment that showed as ready for move in within the next two months and paid the application fee, but got a brief email back that said the unit was not available. Basically, I lost money and it never would have happened if someone would have just called me back or updated their availability accordingly. PLEASE Trust your instincts, like I should have done and look for another place that actually cares about you as a tenant.
I've lived here for about a year now and any issues I've had have been resolved in a positive, fast manner thanks to the awesome office and maintenance staff in the complex. On top of that, it's a clean, enjoyable, and safe place to live. The apartments themselves are updated, spacious, and well-maintained for the price we pay for rent. The location and access to work out facilities and laundry units in your own apartment are very convenient. Another bonus is the rooftop/party room on the 4th floor that allows for Friendsgivings, super bowl parties, etc. for you and your friends! It's been a pleasure living here and is my favorite apartment I've had thus far.
I love living here! It is a close walk to everything I need and it is so updated on the inside. Coming home to my apartment is something I look forward to each day. My favorite part is the kitchen because it is so "roomy". The kitchen has granite counter tops with a double cast iron sink as well as an island! We also have a balcony, which I love having! You have the option of a 2 or 3 bedroom with at least 2 bathrooms (one on-suite) and you also have your choice of kitchen cabinets (white or dark cherry). This is one of the most desired places to live in the area with it's inside charm and the views. We all have access to the roof and "party rooms" on the top floor, which is a little get a way. This place is so unique and so modern with a homey feel!
