Property Ratings at Morgan Grove
Absolute terrible roach problem and they lie to you and tell you it’s being sprayed. Stay far far away from this place.
Roaches! Roaches! Roaches! It is infested and pest control is maintenance checking to see if they're crawling on the walls. Nothing is done about it!
They had a huge roach problem and did nothing about it. I had to move out after a few months because it got so bad and I sprayed my apartment daily. I talked to a few neighbors and said they’ve had this problem for years
i moved in may 2021 middle of the month and there were already roaches. the management doesn't care and they lie about coming to exterminate. multiple neighbors that have lived here for years said there is a huge roach problem and it doesn't go away because they don't keep up maintenance. this place is not worth it at all you can find so much better. any apartment you live here will have roaches and they will always come back because of poor landlords. this is why i moved out 5 months later.... please do not make the mistake i made to move in here. there are 6 other reviews about roach problems
We had a two bedroom apartment and lived there for one year. Staff was friendly. We had problems with roaches throughout our stay here. There were also roaches in the laundry room of our building. Had loud, obnoxious neighbors below us. Almost every night there was a screaming match between a man and a woman that was riddled with curse words. People left garbage outside of their apartments on a consistent basis. Stairways and hallways were always disgustingly dirty, full of trash, bugs, and other miscellaneous junk other disgusting tenants decided to leave around. My car was broken into twice.
PRO: Affordable. Location is great (Lots of stores around. Located on a busy road, but the road isn't noisy). Staff are helpful and nice. Staff respond fast too. The park anywhere policy is very nice. Has cute little events for fun. Neighbors are nice. They have washers and dryers in the basement (1.50 to wash, 1.50 to dry). Heat is in every room in the apartment. Verizon carriers get good service here. Covers water, sewer, heat (I basically just paid for wifi and electricity). Gas stove is nice. Parking lot has big bright lights. CON: Neighbors are loud during the day, but quiet down at night (The walls and floors vibrate sometimes). Lots of kids running around on the street. Not enough lighting in the apartments (I had one light in the kitchen, one light in the hallway, one light in the entrance, and one light in the bathroom). Air conditioning is only in the living room. The kitchen and bathroom look kinda dirty (Holes and rust marks in the bathtub, cabinetry looks old). Hallways look disgusting (dirty floors, walls have marks on them). Some mold growing on the windows. My experience: I lived here for one year. It's a nice place if you don't have much income. I started with having super loud neighbors. I complained to the manager and they sassed a little back, but the neighbors quieted down afterwards, so no complaints here. I had bedbugs in my apartment (Don't know where it came from, but I've never had them before here). I called service and they took care of it. They were very nice and told me everything I needed to know. It took about a month to get done. Service paid for the extermination besides mattress protectors. Then I found sewer beetles which apparently isn't too big of an issue (I did research and service told me that). The kids in the apartments are interesting. Some are nice and helpful. Some are sassy and rude. I saw one child probably less than 10 years old carrying a vape pen with him. There are ALOT of kids around though. Electricity was about $40 a month for the apartment around that range for the entire year. I was gone for half the day most days.
I recently moved here, into one of the buildings that allows dogs. I do not have a pet myself, and am very pleased with how quiet it is! Neighbors are friendly and nice. My kitchen is getting updated as part of their process to keep things up to date. The complex is very old (about 50 years) and looks far better than many I visited when looking for a place to call home. The square footage is used extremely well, great layout! Windows do an excellent job keeping noise out, if needed. Leasing office staff is friendly and extremely helpful! I have rented about 12 years of my life, at various different complexes, and this is one of the best! Having everything included in rent (except electric) is wonderful!!! Electric is cheap. I'm paying $47/mo. I have a 1 bed/1bath. I would recommend this complex to anyone. It is family and pet friendly!!
This place is incredible, on site laundry and management. Great location, near a variety of restaurants and extremely convenient for shopping for any product, from the Dollar Tree to a strip of car dealerships. The property is very well maintained, with a pool and a park for the kiddos.
Love my place...pets are welcome and the office is friendly and so are my neighbors. Feel safe and at home.
it's ok, I mean, we could have a better apartment, my kids have their room, and I have my room We do not have much room for all of our stuff, but we get by ok though. although, the people who live around here make it worse, they leave garbage in the hallway and stuff all the time, this place is actually pretty horrible.
This is my first Apartment in a building complex. The apartment is a great space it is a older building and has a lot of great character. They have a pool and playground area that is taken care very well. For being in the city it has a kind of peacefulness but still gives you the feel of being in a metro are! Very close to many shopping laces restaurants. Also within a short 15min drive from downtown and all of Milwaukee's great festivals down at the lakefront.
very nice place to live, very family friendly, great pool and they keep up with maintenance very well. Would definitely recommend
This is a great place to be. There's shopping all around. Lots of places to eat. A nice pool and playground for the kids. Cats and dogs are allows. The people there are great. If you have a problem maintenance is there to take care of it right away.
