Property Ratings at Morgan Park Apartments
Upon renting from them for only four months, there has been recurring mold, no heat within the unit, and broken toilets and floors. The kitchen and bathroom floors are covered in standing water that has broken and chipped tile attached to is (causing more mold) and a piece of linoleum barely attached to the top of the tile. You can pull the linoleum back with ease and see the black mold accumulating undeneath overtop of the tile. The toilet was cracked upon moving in and they just recently replaced due to the third party maintenance men expressing how bad it needed to be replaced. They have poor customer service and are extremely rude to tenants when discussing issues related to their units and the problems that they are encountering. The apartments are not clean upon move in and they will paint over your sockets. You won't be able to use them without replacing them and T E Johnson is not going to do anything to help you replace or repair anything that the unit needs and has needed even before you actually move in. The shutters are molded and rusted out, the apartments are not well insulated, and there is not heat! I am so disgusted and I want my money back. The living conditions are extremely unsuitable.
