Property Ratings at Morgan Ridge
The apartment complex is insanely unsecured and unsafe. The gate does next to nothing to offer any form of protection to residents and is often broken anyways. In the three months I have lived here, the police have already been called TO MY OWN APARTMENT BUILDING SPECIFICALLY multiple times to break up fights and respond to a shooting that resulted in the death of a 16 year old boy. The complex assumes zero responsibility for protecting residents and has done nothing to increase safety measures or make the community safer for tenants. Unless you are a bachelor who can protect himself: look elsewhere for a home

Lived there 2 years never paid late. They charged me for bogus reasons $95... Stove drip pans $45+ $50 for dirt on the carpet that will come up once they clean the carpet. I endured disgusting filthy breezeways and stairways.sae a rat come up the stairs. I'm mad they had the nerve to try to take more money from me and did. Watch out for the raggedy appliances they will charge you to repair.

the amount of dog "stuff" covering this property is absolutely ridiculous. Tenants allow their dogs to use the bathroom any and everywhere (lawns, sidewalks, parking lots). Property management does a horrible job at enforcing their own policies. This alone has made my stay here quite unpleasant.
I lived at Morgan Ridge for just over 6 months. I would've definitely had stayed if I hadn't gotten laid off and had to leave. It's really close to everything - Wal*Mart is 5 minutes down the street (with a Chick-fil-A right next to it), downtown Winston is 10 minutes away, Target is about 10 minutes away too. Everything is easily accessible from Morgan Ridge. I had the Ashley apartment and absolutely loved it. I moved to Morgan Ridge from NYC so going from living with 3 people in a 4 bedroom apartment to having an entire 1 bedroom apartment to myself was the best. I had so much space, I almost didn't know what to do with it all. Every single room in this apartment was spacious. I had a full size bed and still had plenty of room in the bedroom for more furniture. The size of the bathroom was insane, I haven't been able to find a bathroom as big as this one. Everyone in the complex was nice. I really liked having the gate to get into the apartment, made me feel a little safer (not that Winston is terribly unsafe). The pools were clean and so nice and refreshing. The management staff are all extremely nice and the maintenance staff will get to situations really quickly. I would highly recommend this place and if I ever go back to Winston-Salem, I am definitely going to be checking out Morgan Ridge for an apartment.
Gate was always broken, Managers and front desk workers always had the worst attitude. They do apartment inspections when you are not in your home. If you like a quiet atmosphere this is not the place for you because there is a football field literally right behind you the absolute worst place to stay.
I stay here an they had bed bag out break for weeks then they bring dog in my house.
Wonderful neighborhood! Close to everything you want or need in Winston Salem, NC. The office personnel is always very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend checking out this apartment complex.
Great place for your money. The apartments are big and spacious. It is very well maintained and the staff is friendly. Very close to downtown, the drive is less than 15 minutes which is a huge plus.
Great apartment, affordable and safe. Staff is friendly and maintenance responds in a timely manner. I've lived here for a year and I'm definitely renewing.
