Roaches and spiders and other bugs everywhere!! I’ve changed units within the first month due to roaches, and it made no difference. If you want to keep your sanity, don’t move here! The rating on here is 100%false.

Gun Violence in our parking lot. Unsolved shootings, gunmen at large. Mold, Mildew in the community laundry room which you have to pay per load. be careful going to the laundry mat across the street because there are Stabbings there. Management does not care about residents. Amenities advertised are not actually available for use. Not the gym, not the theatre and last summer not the pool. We paid a fee for these amenities and expected for them to be available.

Should you have questions about crime in the area, you can reach out to the Baltimore County Police Dept. Unfortunately, crime can happen anywhere and we do not know the details of every event and this may be due to ongoing investigations.
Do not expect maintenance or the leasing office to show sympathy or answer your concerns in a timely manner. If the buying process for a home was slightly easier. I would have left a long time ago. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else to call a place home. If I would give this place negative 5 out 5 rates I would.

Maintenance does not attend to emergencies in a timely manner. Inactive pole lights stay lying on the ground for months. There is no light in the parking lots. No one answers the phone in the office. Methods of rent payment are limited. The property has been sold twice in the past two years.

I moved into Morningside in 2015. The first few years I lived at this property, I had hardly any complaints except for when my car had got broken into. There are not any cameras on the property, so I was not able to gather much evidence. My first apartment was quite spacious and never encountered any issues with pest ( as I was on the 3rd floor). In 2017, I was put on bed rest during my pregnancy and was forced to transfer to an apartment on the first floor in a different complex on Morningside’s property. Since then, I have encountered severe water damage 3 times, as well as an issue with mice that took 5 months to get addressed. Maintenance takes days to even acknowledge your service tickets. You have to call the office daily to get anything expedited. Emailing the property manager with your concerns is pointless, because she does the bare minimal and replies when it’s convenient for her. On the plus side, the leasing staff have been pretty nice and try to assist when they can. It’s pretty much best to just avoid this property, unless you are okay with no sense of urgency and having your service requests placed on the back-burner until it is deemed fit to get them addressed.
This is the worst place to live the company and management don’t care about you ! You’re basically just paying for the area mice and roaches and all they do is throw poison that doesn’t help SCROLL pass this is not the property for you!

I was looking to possibly rent from this complex. I put a $250 deposit down for an apartment-they stated that the deposit was refundable. I emailed and called for two months. One day they would say that the check was in the mail and the next day they would state "oh we just put it in the mail." Meanwhile, there are several other apartments in the area that have much better customer service, with leasing agents that don't have nasty attitudes. The apartment I ended up moving in to was completed renovated and in a nicer area. Beware of their scam
I just want to inform anyone that plans on moving here that if you value your job and time do not move here, it is Tuesday and they have not even shoveled the sidewalks. When I went into the office they seemed like they could careless. I have called over and over again. It is hard to pay rent when they have made it nearly impossible to get your car out and to get to work. This is not the first year this has happened I have lived here for 3 years. I will not be renewing my lease. I also had a mice problem. Do not move here! It is high for no reason. And the maintenance is lazy.

when ever something is broke they fix it. never had any problems.
Lived here for about a month now! I love it. The apartment was very clean upon move in. They keep the grounds very neat. Very homey place, lots of families. Everyone's very nice! My one experience with maintenance was pleasant. Had a clogged sink, only took them 1 day to have it fixed! I was very impressed with their timeliness. Plenty of parking. Fitness center is nice as well! Close to major stores like Safeway, Walmart, Best Buy. & restaurants like Friday's, & Starbucks. Great place to live!
Morningside is great, not the fanciest, but convenient to restaurants and the University i was attending and has a great Maintenance team!
Grounds upkeep well done, however unresolved mice problem in several buildings has become a real headache. Despite several complaints. exorbitant rent increases still charged and refused to let us out of lease!
In May my husband and I moved into Morningside Apartments in Owings Mills. We had to move quickly and the friendly leasing staff was wonderful in working with us. In the few months we have lived here any time I've had a question the office staff is friendly and quick to help. We had an issue with our garbage disposal, and they were very quick to fix it. It was wonderful. They are always trying to improve the complex and keep it clean. All of this makes me feel safe and help my husband feel comfortable leaving me while he goes on the road for work. We would definitely recommend Morningside Apartments to others.
I really like my apartment I'm on the forth floor and love being up high I feel safe. I have a great view of the main road. I can see when my visitors park. The maintenance here are wonderful as soon as I have a problem they're out within an hour and they get right to the job.My only problem is within these three years I've been living here I had a baby and now she's a toddler the neighbors below complain of every step she makes I even had the police called on me because of little steps.The apartment complex gave me three letters to either deceased the noise or to get out in 30 days. I have been living here longer than most of my neighbors in the building.I've never been late on rent I love this apartmentbut its hard to adjust to every new family that moves in. I was really stressed for almost a year over the lady complaining on my daughter.
I have been living At Morningside apartments For almost six years. Do you think that I Possibly like living here? Why, yes. Yes, I do! The management is Responsive to my requests. The good and the bad. There is a nice pool, And a big exercise room. Playgrounds for the kids. Some apartments come With a washer and dryer. No, not in my place, But there are washers And dryers in the building Down in the basement. Can you have a pet? Dogs and cats for a pet fee And pet deposit. Residents do have Assigned parking spaces, but Only one per home! I have a private Balcony to enjoy the Birds and wildlife here. If you are concerned About the amount of crime, I feel very safe. So, if you want a Cozy place to live and can Afford to live here, Morningside may be A good place to look into. It’s been good for me!
