Property Ratings at Mosaic Apartments
The pool is black does not look anything like the picture! Rat infested property! Mold in apartments, and the maintenance does nothing! Property is inhabitable
they lie : -no washer connection as their machines in the ENTIRE property, have not worked for over a year -Roaches - Utility bill is the same for everyone no matter your unit and is also extremely high $130 on average -Dog Poop EVERYWHERE - Rent is too expensive for what you get, even for their “ deluxe” units . They’re literally trash. It’s deluxe because you have a stainless steel fridge. Lol!!!!!
I moved here six months ago. I did not have my SSN because I was issuing it. The administration decided to give a unit in poor condition they only put paint on the walls and that is it! Always when I put a work order on the portal they only mark it as "solve" but never come to fix the problem. The Laundry room it's a mess, the gym is closed, is not available anymore and the people in the office always argue with me and never want to listen and fixed the problems. Always lies. My rent amount each month is different and I got a bad report on my Fico score because they changed something about the pay portal they sent a message saying 'do not worries" you can pay after your rent day expire. Everything is a problem here! They just only take advantage of the residents.
Moving to Tx and saw that these apts were near the job, price is competitive, I wanted stainless steel appliances and great schools. I was sold off the pics and amentities listed on Apt.com. So I drove to the place, cash in hand... only to see gates open, paint peeling, parking lot was tore up, broken and busted pavement all over, the place was just dingey and terrible. The wood fences have holes in them, the patio fences are all broken up. I don't know if this is the hood but it feels like it. I am out of here. No need me even seeing the inside.
Ever since I been at these apartments for 2 years I had nothing but problems such as when I first moved in I had fleas in my apartments, maintenance doesn’t fix repairs, my rent is inflated every month, and the people in the office gets bad attitudes after you talk with them or lie to you about getting things done and it’s not getting done then they posted a eviction notice on my apartment after they gave a very short notice they are switching utility companies and all of a sudden I have an additional $200 charge

Staff is extremely rude! I told them months ago stuff does not work in my apt and no one has been to fix, they called me a liar and said they told me visitor parking says it on the ground but that's a LIE! They told me ON THE BACK FENCE now I have to pay to get truck out when I LIVEHERE was driving my dads cause I got into wreck. Worst place in the world!
Currently living here. No one ever answers. I have reported a leak in my bathroom several times I have mold and no one seems to care. I even told them I just had a baby.
The leasing office is a very unhelpful very uncaring. the maintenance department Department can't fix anything. No there is will to help or work with you.
I cannot wait for my lease to be up. We are now on the 3rd management company in the 2 and 1/2 years I've lived here. Went into the office last week and was treated rudely just because I have the nerve to complain about broken appliances and sinks. Things were good for a little while, but they're back to being ghetto. Old furniture piled up in the corners of the property, loud ghetto neighbors, trash everywhere. If you enjoy being lied to and having staff who couldn't care less about you once you move in, this is the place for you.
lack of communication with the office, expensive maintenance fees, unkept pools and yards, mystery fees, just don’t do it
I already live here, and management has done little to nothing about the upstairs neighbor whose dogs shits on the porch and then sweeps it off so it lands on my porch. Even though I’ve complained multiple times and set an appointment to speak with the property manager. Apparently having a meeting with me wasn’t all that important seeing as how she went on vacation the very next day. I should’ve at least been informed that she wasn’t gonna be there. I still have yet to speak with anyone in charge, other than office employees who don’t have the authority to do anything. I do not recommend living here and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up!
I moved in March 2019 this is has an absolute nightmare. I have requested maintenance several times since I moved here and and nothing has been fixed. I was charged $199 for water which is ridiculous for an apartment. My A/C wasn’t working and it took 4 months to replace they put in window units with cardboard. DO NOT RENT HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

These apartments are the worst. They never clean the pool, maybe, once in the middle of winter. No one wants to do their jobs, so if you move in here I suggest you get really comfortable with reading books on how to fix things. They will make up absolutely any excuse not to do their jobs. The management just absolutely sucks. They are so unprofessional and childish. Then there's the gate. I HATE. that. gate. When it does work it is more of a hazard than a safety precaution around here. People are always crashing into it, because it's on a set timer now. People usually use the broken, open exit gate to enter, which is very dangerous. There are huge potholes everywhere. It gets flooded when it rains. Our a/c unit hasn't worked in 3 years. It even started smoking, like it wanted to catch fire, TWICE. Thankfully, we caught it before it set the entire apartment on fire. Our faucet has been leaking for 7 years, and they just fixed it a week ago. Everything in this apartment is broken: the stove, the toilets, the outlets, the flooring, the dishwasher, the a/c, and the rods in the closet to hang your clothes; and no one will fix ANYTHING no matter how much we call them. It seems the more you call the more they ignore you. And, to top it all off, my mailbox is broken too. There is nothing good about this place the gym stinks, there is NO pet care here, by the way. I seen that they added that lie above. Security here, by the way , is the broken gate. The laundry rooms are dirty and most of the time they don't even work. Living here has been a terrible experience.

I've been here for 4 years now. Ants, roaches, peeling paint, rusted out tubs, leaking seals, doors I had to put weather seal on myself, knobs I had to install myself, water damaged roof falling on me, and now to top it off my power has been off for several hours in the dead of winter. I have a toddler, am I supposed to shell out money to go sit somewhere heated? What about food? Or my fish tanks with hundreds of dollars worth of fish? And let's not talk about the mailboxes being broken into...or the pot hole filled parking lot, the gate never working... Called the office, sorry we cant do anything..

I currently live here Sept 2018 and CANNOT wait to move out. The management is so horrible. They opened the pool halfway through July (what’s the point by then) and it’s been dirty ever since. They charge to get a fitness center access card “to ensure they get their cards back” but then charge you ANOTHER fee if you don’t bring it back. The dumpsters are far and ALWAYS full. Service requests are always “contracted out” and then forgotten. The staff in th office in unapologetic and rude. I will not be renewing and let anyone who is interested in this place know how it’s been.

No stars at all, system forces the user to pick at least one. Maintenance requests simply do not get addressed in a timely fashion. My most recent request, to fix my porch fence--there's a hole in it from the wood falling apart, has been outstanding for 6 weeks. Stove burners not working finally got replaced after 2 months. I've talked to several people in the office and they all say they will make sure requests get completed.... They do, after 2 months and much complaining. Depending on the office staff's mood, they may treat you respectfully or be condescending and smart-mouthed.
My AC has not been working for 2 days I have submitted multiple service requests and no one has come to even look at the problem or install at least a portable unit. I keep calling the emergency line and all they keep telling me is that they will notify maintenance. This has been a recurring issue, I would not recommend this property to anyone, management is terrible. I have also contacted the manager through email and she has not replied back.
New Management is absolutely terrible!! They don’t care about maintenance issues. My daughters room has moldy carpet and she can’t even use her closet or sleep in her room. I have pictures with time stamps. I’m also currently talking to a lawyer. They also have bed bugs and roaches that come from other units because people move out frequently. Please do your research before you think about living here.. I would have never re newed it
Love my apt so far!! Signing the lease and getting the keys was no hassle at all , apartments are nice and quiet, neighbors so friendly I’m so glad I chose to move into this community
This place is horrible. I HAVE RATS AND HAVE FOR ALMOST A YEAR. They will not move me without paying a deposit to move. They refuse to send out an exterminator to take care of the problem. I have bought sticky traps out of my own pocket and caught over 20 to date. Not to mention ones that have died in the walls and smell up the place. They close out work orders without work being done. I cannot wait to move from here.
The way property staff treats their prospective residents says a lot about a community. I found this property on Apartments.com. I was attracted to the price and the location because of its proximity to my office. I visited this property on Saturday morning around 11:00 a.m. Upon arrival, I met an agent who'd just started that day. She directed me to sit in front of another agent, Elaine, who could help me. I told her that I was looking for a one or two bedroom unit to accommodate myself and my baby. She offered to show me different floor plans at different price points, she also informed me of the look and lease special. The agent could not find the keys to the golf cart so I carried my baby into each unit that was available for me to view and I drove my car around the complex behind the leasing agent. I viewed 5 units total. Some of the units were inaccessible because their locks had been changed.. I decided on a two bedroom two bathroom floor plan that needed to be upgraded before I moved in. I filled out the application and let the ladies know that I would run to get a money order to leave my deposit for the unit immediately. When I returned, I handed over my application and the agent said, hold on, I have one more to show you. She explained that she had been looking at the two day old list and that the manager printed a fresh list and told her to show me this unit in particular. I followed her to an all updated building. She showed me a spacious one bedroom unit. I said yes immediately. She told me that I overpaid the deposit but that the extra funds would be issued as a credit to my account. We sat and finalized the paperwork and details of the application. She said that she would run the paperwork and call me before closing that day. She did not! I called and left a message for her on Monday but she never got back to me. I called again on Tuesday to check the status of my application, and I was told Elaine would get back with me. SHE NEVER DID. Today, Tuesday at 6:00 pm, the assistant manager called me to explain that my application was approved but the unit that I applied for was already rented out. How could that be when the manager printed the fresh sheet and directed the agent to show it to me while I was there on Saturday?! I ask if my funds would be refunded. She said that because I am already approved, I would not be refunded because I am cancelling my plans to move there.

Elena, I'm sorry to hear you've had a less than satisfactory experience. If you could call our Customer Care line at 210-664-3600 and leave your contact information, a Customer Success associate will follow up with you. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback.
These apartments should be torn down. 1. The complex is older, and it looks bad. To make things worse, a lot of residents residing in the complex had no problem making their patios look unattractive and/or trashy. --- The a/c in my apartment did not work well. My a/c probably had to be running 24/7 most of the time just to keep my apartment cool enough to live in. My mother payed my electricity bill, and she told me that in the summer-time, most of the time my a/c bill was about $120. --- Three of the "walls" of the Sandridge complex are just a wooden fence. One side of this wooden fence was constantly probably the entire time that i lived there being broken down so that people had a shortcut. People doing drugs on the playground, called the police three times and they arrested someone once. I went outside of my apartment one night to find a man lying/sleeping on one of the playground benches. ---From what i remember, you might not have hot water to shower with if you take a shower when a lot of other residents have taken their showers. --- My bathroom and sink area were painted over when I first moved in. When the paint wore off about a year or two later, I was left with horribly stained bathroom grout underneath, and nothing I tried would get it clean. ---Residents sometimes would litter and make the complex look even worse. There were only about four maintenance workers for the entire large complex, so you could be looking at that trash for one or two days before a maintenance person picked it up. Some residents were loud. Had to call the police on them and tell them to be quiet. ---This did not affect me, but my family and I noticed that before I moved out, they got rid of/moved one of the dumpsters inside the complex. So now, apparently, anyone that lives in that area of the complex will have to walk (literally) about half a mile to put their trash in the dumpster.. --- The manager absolutely hounded my family after we told her that we were moving out. --- You can do better than Sandridge, trust and BELIEVE that. Dont make yourself suffer there. I lived at Sandridge for about 7 years, up until about the end of August, 2017. And one more thing, I cant believe that a manager could watch their residents suffer like that and think that they are doing people right. I think the staff, management included, is only there for a pay-check.
Terrible experience. The manager of the apartments (Rachele) was so unprofessional in every level. I was told to go see the apartment on a Wednesday so I went and they couldn't show them , I got no call or anything, ok, so they said to go Thursday at 3pm so I called at 1pm and made sure. She said ok so I went, Note, I drive 30min to see them. I get there at 3pm and she can't show them to me again I get bothered so they show me an apartment but not even what I am getting. Fine I see it and leave. I was told I would have the apartment my the following Friday so I wait. I called them on the Thursday before I get the apartment and asked for he address so I can move my light cable etc. She gave it to me to I transferred everything I needed to. On Friday I was getting the apartment at 3pm so I called at 1pm and she said that we COULD NOT get it because of our background. She made me think I was getting it till the last min. The regional manager kept apologizing but I wasn't having it. I was lead to believe for a whole week and a half I was moving in. I could of been finding another place now I have three days to find a place to move into. I hate hate hate what these people did to me and my family. I don't know if they are just stupid or plain cruel to lead people to believe they got a home. I don't recommend these apartments to anyone. They never ever call you back when they say they are, to keep you up dated, like if they have so much work to do. I went to see her that Thursday and Rachele was just talking and talking away about some gossip with a lady while me a customer was waiting. She didn't say one minute , I'll be right with you. Nothing she was so rude and I wouldn't have her working in a place like that. The PLUS side on not getting them I don't have t associate with ignorant, lazy, disrespectful people and by people I mean RACHELE. <<< You should be ashamed and embarrassed about your work ethic.

Thank you for your review.
I been living here since 2007. The apartments had have 2 huge fires and 3 cars that were on fire. No one told us the reason why they only told us to donate. With all that happening we still wanted to stay there we only wanted to upgrade to 3 bedroom. We spoke to the office staff and they gave us the run around for about 2 months we wanted to find out if we could transfer and they said No because of the new owners. So we decided to leave and nor renew or lease. Is odd that they wouldn't want to keep business instead there are losing business. I feel that the staff does not know what there are doing at times and since 2007 they have gown down hill. I never had a problem with pest, car parking, neighbors, maintenance, or even the apartment. I hope the staff and the owners get on the same page before more families move out because they can not transfer to a bigger apartment. I just think is ridiculous that we were unable there are so many available apartments empty. *The look of the apartments they do need a makeover *The parking lot needs to be redone so it can look nice *The gardeners need to be there more than only 1 time in 2 weeks grass grows fast *The apartments in the back that are burn they need to replace those too, not only the front ones *The pools need to be open and clean and actually pass inspection Please review all reviews before coming here and do your homework on these apartments.
SANDRIDGE APARTMENTS! MAINTENANCE HORRIBLE! GOT A UP STAIRS APARTMENT MOVED INTO IT THE THIRD DAY I WAS THERE IT RAINED GOT BIG WATER SPOTS ON MY LIVING ROOM CEILING TALKED TO THE OFFICE 3 TIMES STILL NO ONE CAME TO LOOK AT IT SO I TOOK CARE OF IT MYSELF EVERYTHING IS OUT DATED TRASH ALWAYS IN PARKING LOT STRAY CATS JUST MESSY! HAVE SECURITY GATE BUT DOES NOT SO IT'S ALWAYS OPEN GYM ALWAYS CLOSED.
I moved into these apartments back in 2011. At the time, the people at the office were very helpful and informative which is one of the reasons I decided to move in other than the lower rent cost compared to other complexes in the area. They also has a website where I could conveniently pay my rent and put in maintenance requests which they would respond to very promptly. It was awesome! Since then, the management here has changed basically every year I've been here. Second management was okay. The website was no longer available. Place was still being kept up pretty okay. Service requests were still being taken care of in a timely manner. Never had a problem at all. Now, with the third and current management got worse. I've had more problems this year than I've had for the previous two years. Maintenance requests are not being taken care of at all. Called the office about three times in one month and I kept being told that the requests were already closed when no one had even entered my apartment. The people at the office just look annoyed and not happy to help at all. It's horrible. The place outside its not being kept up at all. At least not by the building I love. Trees goring out of control. Bushes looking rough. I mean, I don't expect it to be competed perfect but I mean at least keep them trimmed and out of the way of walkways. Makes it look dirty and unkept. I don't like it. The laundry rooms are really tore up. The machines work okay but the place looks like it's falling apart from the inside. Apparently, there is a new management taking over the complex starting Aug 1, 2015. Hopefully they're her to do better and not worse. My rent has remained the same for two out of the three years I've been here which is still lower than everything else around here, but I think at this point I rather just pay more for a better complex overall. If your get a good rate just think you're getting what you're paying for.
