The University of Tennessee is undeniably the focal point of Knoxville, and the school’s orange and white motif is everywhere. Largely thanks to the big student population, Knoxville’s nightlife scene is among the best in the region. Traditionally, the bars and restaurants along Cumberland Avenue - or "The Strip" – have been the preferred night spots in town; while The Strip remains popular, redevelopment in downtown and in the Old City has spread out the after-hours revelry. With so many students in the mix, the local rental market is packed with affordable options as well, so it’s easy to find a budget-friendly house, condo, or apartment just about anywhere in town.
But the city is much more than your typical college town, offering a charming environment surrounded by gorgeous hills and forests, with a generous helping of Southern personality. If boating is your thing, join famous Tennessee Vol Navy as they cruise the river behind Neyland Stadium on game days.

Property Ratings at Moss Grove
Although it is cheaper than most places in west knoxville, I would stay away. Simply because they raised rent extremely for everyone regardless of when you signed your lease (mine was raised after my first 2months here). They said it was due to housing increase. They promised my rent would not go up but completely lied. Offered no way out when they raised rent either. Absolutely ridiculous and morally WRONG!!
The apartments are beautiful. The grounds are kept clean and the neighbors are quiet. Quiet time here at night is enforced. By 8pm you could hear a pin drop. Even quiet during the days. I love the huge walk in closet, washer and dryer hook up, marble counters, spacious patio and huge bathroom with linen closets. Kitchen even has a pantry. Management is smart kind and takes care of all needs quickly. They also aren't afraid to enforce all the rules of this community which I like. I want to live in a community where I feel safe, have nice neighbors and plenty of space in a roomy gorgeous apartment. This is the place! Beat decision I ever made. Thank you Moss Grove!
I was supposed to move in last week. No phone call or emails are being returned. Starting to think I’m not moving in.
Tried contacting them for 2 weeks now, and haven't got an answer back. I sent emails and called many phone numbers and one the was busy and the rest just ring once and hung up. Now they are saying that they are open, but the phone line is still busy, even on a Sunday, they are still busy, so how do you rent an apartment and how are the open, if no people can contact them.
No response from property after 30 days of unreturned emails and unanswered phone calls about a one bedroom. Office is not finished or open so you can’t walk in. How are you suppose to apply, if they won’t answer the phone or answer emails?
