I'm a current resident at Mountain Gate and I must say, I've been very impressed with the property! The amenities are great, and it is a very family friendly community in a great area of Littleton! We have 2 kids at an LPS school which is another major reason we have stayed at Mountain Gate. The leasing office has been super helpful, and maintenance makes sure things are taken care of if something breaks! Overall, it's a great place to live!

I have lived here for 2 years and do not have any plans of leaving any time soon. The location is perfect, management is very communicative, maintenance is so fast (if you ever even need them)! I got my AC system replaced in 3 days and a new dryer the next business day. The grounds are very clean as well! My dogs love it here and so do I!

We have been at Mountain Gate for 3 years and counting. I cant say enough good things. They continuously are doing improvements to the property inside and out giving it a true luxurious feel. The grounds are well kept and dog friendly. The pool and gym amenities are the best kept I have ever seen from an apartment complex (or anywhere). Everything is convenient from the online portal, to mail, and the amazon drop box. If you ever have issues the office is prompt and the maintenance staff are all very helpful, quick to respond, and friendly. I probably distract them form their work with too much chatting. The staff knows the people in their community personally and seem to genuinely care about the tenants. This is a great safe community with tons of outdoor activities near by as well. I would like to give a persona shout out to Makayla and Tasha for everything they do for us and being part of the community always! I don't always get to go, but the events from food trucks, ice cream parties, and even dance parties are always a blast! Thank you team for making it a great place to live.

Nice apartments for reasonable prices are so hard to come by in this day and age, especially in Colorado! Mountain Gate Apartments have a warm, homey feel in a really safe neighborhood! The units are very nice and the management is always working to make improvements to the property (recent examples are updating staircases, adding bike racks, roofing, etc.) so things are always in great shape! Maintenance is very responsive, the the leasing office folks are always SO kind and helpful. It’s so refreshing to see good management at a large apartment complex.

Management is terrible. There is dog poop literally all over the property and they do nothing to fix the problem. It's even on the sidewalk and the parking lot. Such a gross place to live.
It is a quiet and peaceful area. I do feel we were not given a fully honest walkthrough for our apartment as it is fully carpeted and we were told we would have granite counters and hardwood floors.
The establishment is nice and neat and love the community.

I have had a great experience at Mountain Gate Apts. the office staff is always polite and helpful. The maintenance comes within 2 hours for repairs or concerns. My only complaint is that there are spots that need repairs and paint, the railings and half walls of the balconies. If not for that I would give the community a 10.
The apartments are clean and airy. We love the large balcony and our fireplace. It is a quiet complex with a ton of green space. The easy access to Santa Fe, 470 and walking trails makes it a no brained for us.
moved in back in January. every time I have something that I need help with the staff is always right there to help. From the property managers to the staff and maintenance crew everyone is so nice and easy to talk to. the experience around the complex is also nice talking and waving to people who also live here.
Every time I contact the office the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They make me feel at home. The grounds are beautiful and the maintenance team is fantastic.

We have lived here a year and have never had to wait longer than an hour for something to be fixed. These guys are always so on top of it, and so helpful. They really are a bonus to this beautiful property.
The apartment is lovely, the area is great, the office staff is wonderful, the maintenance man assigned to my building...not so great.
The grounds look great and well kept. The apartments that we were shown we all very clean, brand new looking with great appliances. Trash disposal and mail areas were very easy to find. The leasing team was an absolute pleasure to work with. Chloe, Jessica and Alex were all very helpful, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Even though we haven't signed the lease yet (only because of the rent price) we are very much looking forward to moving in and becoming part of the community.
Mountain Gate is a gorgeous property in a great setting. The staff has been very accommodating and the area is very pet friendly. The neighbors and staff have all been a pleasure during my two years here!

I love living here. It's in a safe area, and the complex is updated and nice. Maintenance is great and always responds to any issues in a timely manner. Usually day of, or day after. Depending on when you submit the request. Jamie was excellent when showing us the complex, and it really makes a difference having a great and friendly staff. The only issue I had when moving in, is, they didnt show us the actual floorplan of the unit we were moving into. Which, yes, we should have asked, but they showed us the model unit and a huge selling point was the huge walk in closets. It was repeatedly brought up as a selling point. And I asked multiple times, what the differences would be in the unit we actually got, because our unit was going to be smaller than the model unit, (they knew which unit we were getting, as we already discussed it) and the only thing that was mentioned, was that the kitchen would have different finishes. Even after asking multiple times just to double check, nothing was mentioned about how the entire floorplan was going to be different, and that there were no walk in closets. The master bed has an attached bigger closet, but nothing compared to the ones we were shown. Despite this minor frustration upon first seeing our unit, Ive loved living here. Everything works pretty great, never had a problem with shower, or other appliances. We did have an issue with our heat not working one day, but it was quickly fixed. I would definitely recommend this complex. Like the majority of complexes, there are additional fees on top of base rent. Including valet trash, and another trash fee?, pest control, and admin fee. Which total around 40 extra a month. Which actually isnt bad... ive toured places where additional monthly fees are reaching 100. This is also in your contract though, and id highly suggest that anywhere youre considering signing a lease for, you ask them beforehand about additional fees. Because there will always be some.
The office staff is great! The property is very nice and quiet!
Would not recommend due to poor communication and lack of empathy from the staff here (other than the maintenance team).
Overall living at Mountain Gate has been satisfactory. Work orders are answered promptly and staff is pleasant.
1. No warning towing, and no empathy for long DMV delays or temporary car plates. If the city is doing road construction on all the local street parking for the week, you have three choices: get towed by the city, get towed by the complex if you temporarily move your car out of the city's way, or find somewhere else to live for a week. 2. Ice not addressed on roads or in shady sidewalk areas or shady area stair steps. Usually it's a nice neighbor who clears the ice off the stairs and nearby sidewalk. Walk carefully in the winter. 3. New management isn't exactly friendly or helpful. If you research them outside this app, their reviews have tanked in the last five months. 4. $5000 fee to exit the lease, so if you sign it be prepared to stay the whole year or pay the penalty to exit.
The staff at Mountain Gate are very professional, nice, and timely when responding to maintenance issues. My fiancé and I have really enjoyed living in our apartment and have felt safe in the Mountain Gate community during the pandemic.
It's a beautiful place to live with floor plans that feel like a home and not just ordinary. The walls are quite solid and so the quiet is dominant and lovely. Beautiful places to take my dog and access to the bike trails, too. While we haven't been able to utilize all of the amenities, the office has done what they have been ordered by the state but worked extra hard to make as much available as possible. Everyone is friendly, in the office, my neighbors, and just people I run across walking my dog. This is a community of people looking for a long-term home and it's very obvious by the way everyone is so warm.
Dont appreciate that you charge for even one parking space. Dont appreciate that you charge $25 a month for concierge garbage pick up (even if the tenant doesnt want it). I would warn potential tenants (if I had the opportunity) that these charges are mandatory!
The community is so clean and the people and so nice. So happy to be living in such a beautiful place in such a beautiful state.
Brand new resident and bought a brand new car from Carvana that had a temporary plate. Because I did not register it online due to it being brand new with a temp plate, they towed it without warning. I found out by walking outside of MY HOME, realizing my car was not there..... I called the office 5 times, no one picked up so I walked over while it was snowing to find out if they towed it, as if they didnt, it was stolen.... The manager stood at the door and informed me I couldn't come in because its appt only and to call the office next time, I explained I did, and Id like to know where my car is..... She came back with a phone number, informed me no refunds and that it was towed 30 minutes away. Again guys, this is all with NO WARNING. I was obviously upset, I asked to talk about it and she threatened to call the cops if I didn't leave, and slammed the door in my face. This is where I live. This is how I am treated. I am going to go as high as I can with this. No one should be treated this way.

I have a birds nest on my balcony that they cant take care of so I cant use my outdoor space. There is bird poop everywhere. Yet I still pay the same rent

People are friendly, the apartments are nice and big. Big move enclosed patio and enough storage space.
Mountaingate is lovely... close to bus transportaion and the ammenties are great.. but i do feel that they take advantage of their residents.. for instance.. i am appalled that they charge 25.00 mandatory for valet service when at every opportunity, valet service is not available for one reason or another,,, I think this should be rebated for residents when they dont show up...or residents should have the option to op out of this stupid service... i take may garbage out daily and yet i am still being charged monthly for a service they should be doing... lets face it.. if i dont go to work, i dont get paid... it should be the same for them and we should be rebated.. just check this past year and see how many times this "valet service" did not show up for their job... it is such a rip off...and i do resent paying for a service that is not delivered. residents should have the option to op out of this.. it is not fair!!!!! This is not a reliable service and i feel we are being taken advantage of...Just check how many times in the past year.. they did not do their job and i am paying for this... I truly would like to be rebated... this is such an unreliable service that i am paying for!!!!
Its a great home, well kept, well maintained, and very comfortable.
My children and I moved to mountain Gate last year, the community is clean and quiet. The outside areas are well maintained with friendly staff. I feel safe and have no concerns with the neighborhood.
Overall Mountaingate isnt a bad place to live. However the parking situation is not great, especially driving on the street where their cars in both sides can be a little scary. And then they cost Renting not just Hair but it anywhere in Colorado is ridiculous. You could be in a $300,000 home, with comparable footage, for several hundred dollars less a month!
Everyone on staff is really friendly, they are willing to accommodate most things. Location is great if you like peace and quiet. Price isnt too high. Surrounding areas are nice right by Chatfield and Platte river. Close to outlet mall and RTD station within a mile or so. The space is nice too. Havent met any other residents yet. Seems like a closed community than again its winter.

The apartments are very pretty. The location is great, you can walk to the light rail. As far as cost, they are the lower end of the market in this area. Making them affordable for a two or more income home.
The work order that I put in for my dishwasher was quick to be addressed. Needless to say that they said the parts to fix my dishwasher were no longer being used by the brand they have right now. I will be getting a new dishwasher, which pleases me.
The apartment is wonderful but a bit overpriced. when we moved in- all the paint was so fresh that furniture and boxes stuck to shelves/walls! We were expecting the shelving to be put back into the closet but they didnt ever have someone install the shelving. Kinda defeats the benefit of a walk in closet, if the shelves were removed!
Just your average apartments that will give you a hassle, run around, or try and take your hard earned money for their own amuesment
Great value, particularly considering the rental raters available in area. Great managment, dog friendly, community minded complex.
If you plan on moving into Mountain Gate expect at least $100.00 increase in rent every year. One gentleman lived here for 14 years and they wanted to raise his rent $185.00 more. He told them to find some other sucker to pay it and he moved out. People are constantly complaining about dog poop around here but as much money as we pay they need to hire someone to clean it!!!!! Oh and you cant park your car in the lot unless you pay for a permit. We also have trash pickup here that we pay $25.00 a month (you dont have a choice with this service). They may pick it up or they may not. When you move in you will see you pay for everything they have at this community!!!! Money - money - money!!! And hopefully you wont have any packages in the office because you may never get it.

i live on single income, looked around many places for apartments, Mountain Gate was by far the best in regards to location, price, amenities offered, newer apartments, great management team and maintenance, great space in apartments, great gym and yoga room, parking gets busy in evening but i always find a place to park, sometimes people online post negative reviews about here, but theses problems aren't really concerns or problems at all, just some tenants don't know how to be grown ups and take care of personal responsibilities on their own, they feel like the management team has to perform all their personal duties for them to make them happy, but no, there are responsibilities of the tenant that they should deal with to fix their own easy problems, then there are problems that the apartment should deal with. sorry tangent overall this apartment complex is great, and should definately be considered as a great living experience!
Well kept grounds, very nice apartments, more like living in a home than a building. Good job of all updated appliances and bathroom. Very friendly staff always willing to help, and maintenance crew that is on the ball all the time.
we have lived here over 7 years and find it home. it is close to nature , and very quiet, and the people around us are friendly .
