Property Ratings at Mountain Ridge
The water is constantly shut off with no warnings, maintenance isn’t that great, over priced for what it is and how they run things, the people who live here are friendly but it’s not worth the constant problems
I currently live in this complex since January 1st of this year. Three days ago (4/14) I came home to find that my entire kitchen floor was wet and the ceiling was leaking. I called the front desk and told them about the leak and she said she would send maintenance to me. I called back over an hour later and maintenance had still not come to my apartment. I had already put a bucket under the kitchen ceiling to stop the water from hitting the floor. My boyfriend and I left to go buy a mop and bucket so we could clean up the mess and do a few errands. We got home 3 hours later and maintenance still had not come to fix the leak. We called the after hour emergency maintenance number and they arrived an hour later. By that time, there was a leak that had started in both the bedroom and living room. There was a leak in the closet as well that soaked the carpet by the closet. Maintenance brought a bucket and said that he couldn't do anything about it until Thursday when plumbers came. At the same time, a leak started under the kitchen and bathroom sink. Last night (4/16) we also noticed that the toilet is leaking as well. Maintenance takes forever to respond and even though they're awesome guys, it takes them at least 3 days to finish their jobs. I still have not received a new bathroom sink or any help with my leaking toilet. I'm in the process of looking for a new apartment to move to and highly recommend against these apartments.
Do not give these people your money you will be ripped off. Oh and don’t expect your deposit back either. Also don’t expect the dog area to be poop free or for all dogs to be non aggressive as they aren’t. Neither the owners, the animals, or the management are under control. Roaches and dirty facilities. Worst apt I’ve ever been in and the price is not worth it. You will be charged more than the utilities you use and water gets shut off a lot. Repairs are slow and ACs and heat do not actually work in any of the Apts (I’ve seen 3!) people commit theft and other crimes there it is not safe, clean, or anything of the sort of a good property. Also your vechicle will be towed if no parking is left so be prepared to walk in the snow. Management is awful
The whole complex is quite dirty and dog owners seem to be really bad at picking up after their dogs because where there is grass there is poop. When I moved in the whole apartment was disgusting so I cleaned things off and notices stains all over the ceiling and pain that peels off everywhere. Management is pretty rude and quite slow and maintenance takes 3 times to get the job done right. Washers and dryers also seem to be broken most of the time and each time an out of order sign is put on it by tenets the note is always removed even if the machine is not fixed. At least the laundry machine company is actually helpful and will send you a refund for the money wasted on a broken machine. Definitely can find better.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! If I could put 0 stars I would. This apartment is the worst one I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The management is very unprofessional and they do not give two bits about you or your problems. From the constant flooding to there always being construction to no one picking up after their dogs to the maintenance never fixing things when they say they will to poor policies, it has been aggravating and stressful. Management you already have a horrible rate maybe you should fix the problems of your staff and policies before you end up have a 1 star rating. Stop treating people like a pay check and start having some compassion for people or you will be out of clients very soon.
Awesome staff. Lived here for over a year with no issues. Nice area and conveniently located. Cheap washer/dryers and they actually work well (unlike some apartments I've been in). Good neighbors, near schools and parks. Dog friendly. I understand before we moves in they had issues but we have had no issues, I don't t know if this is because new management or repairs made, but I do recommend.
I live in southern Colorado Springs 5 minute drive from the mountains. I like these apartments because they are what I need at the time. Very quite neighborhood close to down town and shopping.
The management is great, the neighborhood is nice, the rooms are a decent size - other than the kitchen, which is pretty narrow and lacking in cabinet space. All around, a good, basic apartment complex.
