Property Ratings at Mountain View Apartment Homes
I have constant noise issues from the surrounding neighbors. For month's I have been dealing with weed coming into my apartment and inhaling secondhand smoke. I have notified the management staff multiple times with them saying there is little they can do. I have located the tenant and bought $200+ worth of air purifiers and plugins to deal with the issue. Despite weed being illegal in the state of Alabama, the management staff does not do anything to prevent this. Don't move here!!
Creaky and squeaky floors, thin walls. You can hear everything your neighbour is saying and doing. Not updated and has ugly carpet. Maintenance is fast to fix things though. Pool is nice. The rental cost is not worth it for Tuscaloosa.
Affordable apartments, great staff, clean pool, and great scenery. I lived here for about a year and never had any issues. Units are well maintained, neighborhood is friendly and staff is even better.
We have absolutely loved living here. Everyone has been very nice. The office employees and maintenance has always been prompt with anything that has been addressed which have been very few and very minor.
The staff have a blatant disregard for your health safety. There is mold growing all thru the walkways around your door seals. Appliances are old and nasty like the counter tops.
If you enjoy living in a place that has cheep appliances, staff that does not open the pool on weekends and when you call about the pool being closed you get comments like "We are told not to call about pool issues." from the answering service staff. The neighbors are loud, (meaning) Playing loud music while you are trying to sleep, talk so loud you can hear them in your apartment, and are rude when you ask them to keep it down. When you leave you are given an outrageous list of prices that if you do not have these things cleaned or fixed before you leave your bill will range in the thousands. Don't get me wrong I have OCD on clean things. But the prices are as though you lived in a Royal Palace. This list is not given to you until you notify them you are leaving.
