Property Ratings at Mulligan School Apartments
I do not know who they are renting to, or perhaps they are renting it out for parties, but this evening a bunch of trash was partying on the roof deck and throwing bottles at the train! Dear managers, this is being filmed and you are responsible for any damage done by the trash you are letting use your space.....
Let me first start by saying that the Mulligan School Apartments were thoughtfully and beautifully renovated…truly well done. However, that is where the positives end. Svigos Asset Management is one of the most horrid and unprofessional management companies we've ever dealt with. Frank showed us around when we visited the property, showing us a variety of available apartments, which we appreciated. However, he was clearly ill-prepared for any questions. First question was if dogs were allowed. He indicated that the brothers (owners) were “wishy washy” on this. We told him this would be a deal breaker. His response was that they would have to allow dogs and that other new tenants had been accepted with dogs. Ok, we continued with the tour. Next question was how much rent would be. Seems like a basic question, but he did not know and told us to “make an offer.” We really liked the building and decided to fill out an application and see where it took us. We texted Frank to let him know, at which time he told us that our dogs were accepted. He ended up giving us pricing only to have it change in subsequent correspondence. Undeterred, we decided that we were ok with everything and asked him if we could see two of the apartments one more time so we could decide on which unit we wanted. We arranged to meet Frank twice, but were stood up both times. Subsequent texts from us to Frank went ignored, so we got in touch with another Svigos representative, Nick. We arranged to meet Nick, and given what we had already been through with Frank, we decided that we should confirm what he had previously told us. First order of business was our dogs…much to our dismay, Nick said dogs were not allowed…period. End of meeting. What a waste of our time and energy. We expect a certain amount of professionalism and courtesy and can say with 100% certainty that Frank and Svigos Asset Management is seriously lacking in both of these areas.
