Neighbors are obnoxiously loud all the time and the walls are paper thin for noise. The ceiling and floors are not insulated therefore you hear every step and furniture movement done. You hear every flush and every single laundry load from the neighbors. Not all apartments had been remodel, so good luck if they decide to remodel the unit next to yours without any notification. The location is very convenient and nice, with the exception that one block down the fire department is located and it is worse than a Die Hard Movie. Management does not provide any assistance for anything and does not even answer to complains. Management does not communicate in advance of any repairs done. The rents are high and what you get for it is very min. Simply avoid this place.

Living at Mural is OK. Management has been non-existent and common areas are kept quite dirty with noticeable dust and grime. There is a layer of dust along the walls of corridors. I have lived here for 10 months and have never seen or heard a cleaning crew. They do regularly pick-up recycling outside resident's door. The call box has not been working for close to 4 months. Otherwise, my unit layout is great, but carpet and countertops need an upgrade.

Honestly at least the best Maintenance experience I’ve had. He communicated, was super compassionate! Made me feel prioritized!

Would be a nice place, but it is above a terrible restaurant called 'Agave' that blares music into surrounding homes with outdoor speakers. Unlivable. Trying to find another place to live after just over a month here. Awful.

Mural has been awesome. The staff is incredibly patient and kind and they helped me get the apartment Im in when I moved from Texas. That’s a big move! They were with me every step of the way and really helped me out with the application process. Super thankful this place is my home!

Mural hits all of my requirements. Close to public transportation, shops and restaurants. Nice management staff and a clean building. I enjoy the view from my unit with the floor to ceiling window. Not much to complain about. Overall a great place to live

Good prices for the apartment size and quality. The units on the west side are very noisy and loud in the morning sure to garbage trucks in the alley.

Made a big move from Texas to Washington, and wouldnt have been able to do it without the Mural team! They made the online application as smooth as possible, kept me up to date with new information, made me feel welcome upon arrival, and were all very professional! Super happy with my unit and the amenities that are offered here.

Just moved in and everything has been more than seamless and pleasant! Community manager even took it upon herself to check on a minor issue upon move in! Love my unit- great building, and staff!

Garbage building with garbage amenities that are never open

Great location. Older building (for the area) and the appliances are not as nice as the other options. Some units have great views. Parking is reasonable. Alley is incredibly loud in the mornings. Some units have been very sloppily repainted. As long as you don’t need to interact with management, it is a nice place to live. But for the 1 or 2 times a year where you do, get ready for weeks of effort and false promises. The unit we toured had some damage (broken screen door, broken shower rod, holes in a door) which we were told would be fixed by move in. It was not, no big deal. Called office, they said it would be fixed “no later than tomorrow”. Every day we would call and they would continue to promise the next day. Weeks and weeks of calling every day, false promises, and no resolution to something we were told would be fixed by our move in date. When it was time to renew the lease, we had some questions. We would call every 15 minutes for hours just to try to get someone to pick up. On the rare occasion (5 out of 30 calls were answered) I would get through, I would hear a different story every time. Some questions were answered by "I'll get back to you". Of course, they never did. We were promised one thing on one call, a day later we were told that the person who had answered the phone didn't work there (what???) and that they were incorrect. The next day we were told something entirely different. And again on the fourth day. On some occasions, the same person would change the story from one day to the next - never really having an answer. Now it comes time to renew the lease or move out. They are threatening to fine us hundreds of dollars for not giving a move out notice, but won't give us the paperwork to extend our lease! Again we are stuck in a "by the end of the day" - "we're doing it now" - "no need to worry" loop. Is living here worth the effort? Up to you

My life here at the Mural has been really wonderful. I'm 87 years old and my family knows I'm in a good place accessible to all that's available at the Junction and also security.

Mural is a great community. The West Seattle Junction location is top notch, staff is great, and their rates beat most places around here.

TL;DR: I had the pleasure of losing $90 to them because they withheld key information from their unit listings and application process. They simply don't care and refuse to take responsibility for their obvious mistake. Super sketchy and cheap company. Stay away. I applied online for a particular unit that was advertised online. *After* they accepted my application and fees, it was revealed that this unit was actually income-restricted. This was *not* disclosed before or during the application process. It wasn't in the advertisements. It wasn't on their website. It wasn't revealed during their application process. They conveniently withheld this information until after my money was in their hands. They tried to convince me to upgrade different unit that was a few hundred dollars/month more. When I declined to be up-sold and asked for a refund, they said that a refund would be processed. When I finally received the refund in the mail, I realized they had merely returned the holding deposit and had kept the $90 in application fees. After following up, they maintain that the application fees are "nonrefundable" despite the fact that they mislead me into paying in the first place. They claimed they would see what they could do, but after a few weeks of waiting, it's obvious that's never going to happen: they just don't care. Why take responsibility for your mistakes if someone else gets to pay for it instead, right?

The Mural is a wonderful place to live.I am so glad I made the move.

I love living at Mural! The location is amazing, the community is extremely well maintained, the amenities are great, and the management team is friendly and helpful! This is my first apartment so upon signing my lease I was very nervous and I had no idea what to expect. The leasing team made the process seamless and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I can definitely see myself spending another year here!

The mural is a great building. It has a great location,nice ammenaties,is always clean and has a GREAT staff!

I'm quite pleased with my stay here so far. I don't ask for much but tend to be a hard person to please when I do want something and the Mural community has succeeded so far in resolving whatever issues I've had quickly and efficiently.
