Good overall. Decent apartments, nice neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful. There is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to amenities. Gym could use more and better machines. There is a need for a small game room.

Environment is good, feels safe as it is gated community. Repair and maintenance is very fast. Sometimes there is weed smell coming which could be maintained.

I appreciate the proximity to Mill Ave, how personable the office staff are, and how attentive maintenance is with the complex's outdoor spaces. Because there are a lot of renters who aren't responsible and kind enough to clean up after their dogs, I see some of the maintenance team almost every morning picking up after these pet owners to make sure the grounds still look nice. That small action to keep the complex clean does so much for everyone. In general, the apartments are nice but seem a little old, so paint chips off cabinets, appliances (dishwasher, laundry) time out and need replaced, both of our bathroom vanities have fallen out of the wall, etc. but overall we do love this complex. The admin works to make community a priority with fun challenges and social events. Still for sure the best apartment community we've lived in.

overall ok, only one of the treadmills works which is not great. also hot tub doesn't work. management is ok. there are some bugs in the apartments. probably wouldn't live here again or highly recommend

I've enjoyed living in the apartments and staff are nice. We did get a non-renovated apartment and half of the outlets were loose and unable to be fixed and the counter tops are sticky and unsealed which means they are impossible to clean. But rent is pretty cheap for the area, great location, solid amenities, and quiet neighbors.

The apartment is beautiful. Personally, I love that there is a gym and a pool (very much needed in this warm weather). I heard it is a shallow pool and I think that is perfect for a new swimmer like me.

good community This is a decent apartment complex. And the price is affordable. The management and maintenance are responsive to my calls when needed. The access to Tempe locations is , of course, excellent. The complex is humble and basic, but nice enough that it doesn't feel like i have to be worried about my safety when walking through the parking lot at night. There is ample parking, and the units are kept up by a kind and friendly maintenance crew. Access to the apartments surprisingly include both a back and front exit, even on top floors. This is great and unusual, but a very nice feature when you need to slip out the opposite door to avoid any undesired encounters. The window count is surprisingly high for apartments as well, having no less than 5 windows (3 front, 2 back), which allows for low cost lighting and open feels during the day.

I've been living at Murietta @ ASU for almost 5 years and it's been an okay experience. My only complaints are that whenever I reach out to the office with a question lately I don't get a response, occasionally people are noisy outside late at night, or maintenance issues needing fixing, and the apartments are very outdated, but these are things I can tolerate for the time being. I do think there are better options out there but it is not a bad place to live.

Overall Good
Maintenance is prompt and thorough. I enjoy the amenities and the neighborhood is relatively peaceful. Downsides is that the office is slow and my neighbors can be disruptive at times.

Great place to live! We have been here over a year and are happy. Close to campus in a safe area. Great maintenance. They come within a day or two. Hot tub has been broken the whole time we have lived here.

Office people are not friendly
We wanted to modify the lease, previously we were able to do it on email and hence we moved in by doing the same. Noe they are telling you cannot modify the lease without all tenants being physically present, one of the tenants who wanted to move out is already on the east coast. They are making us fly him to arizona just for this. They are not showing even little bit of sympathy in this situation.

Got Very bad experience after living at this place. 1) Very rude leasing assistance. 2) Very Old appliance in room(Microwave). More than month they could not fix or replace it. 3) They charged the extra money for gate key but gate not working. 4) Strangers stealing the parcel in front of door. No Security.

The best place I have ever lived!
I moved in Murietta as ASU a few months ago and I have to say, it was the best decision ever. The office staff is really great especially Stephanie. Maintenance is also very quick to come and fix any issues I have had. I would highly recommend anyone to live here.

Great place!
I am happy to call this place home. Great pool and "beach" volleyball court. I have a washer and dryer in my unit, which is so convenient. The location is awesome, especially if you go to ASU. Nice staff and very clean outdoor areas!

Great Place for College Students, Roomy and Pet-Friendly!
Perfect location for college students who want to be close to campus without paying an arm and a leg or are looking for a more quiet location. The Mars Orbit shuttle bus runs directly outside the entrance and comes every 15 minutes, so you can avoid paying for a parking permit at ASU. In addition, it is incredibly roomy, so sharing a 1-bedroom with an significant other is extremely easy. Or for college students on a budget, you could split the bedroom in half and still have a good amount of space. There seems to be a good number of pets at this complex with a lot of grassy areas for them. Only downside is Rancho Murietta doesn't have their own dog park but you can likely use the one at their sister complex down the street. The people at in the office are super friendly and helpful, the apartments look amazing and overall gives you a great bang for your buck.

Good place; could be better but definitely the best in the area
I work near ASU so my options are either to live close to the campus and deal with the students and their accompanying problems (congestion/parties/noise/crime) or live far away and face a long commute in high traffic areas. I had originally opted for the far off choice and regretted it after a few years. When deciding where to move, the main things I was looking for were in-unit washer/dryers (I grew tired of laundromats/clothing theft in my college years), office staff that isn’t hostile and maintenance that was able to do their jobs. We moved to Rancho about four years ago and have not regretted it. The office staff has been consistent, there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover and it is nice to go in to pick up large packages or renew my lease in under 5minutes time. The maintenance people can be hit or miss depending on who is available; one man is partially disabled and doesn't understand how to wire things safely (though he is probably the nicest/happiest person on the planet) but the rest have gone above and beyond to fix anything that breaks and quickly. The apartments themselves have wall-to-wall carpet and having been here for so long, I still cannot get the office people to agree to clean or change out the carpet for new. There are a ton of cabinets in the kitchen though the counter space is also very limited. The closets throughout the apartment are in awkward locations - not quite close enough to the kitchen for a pantry, too oddly constructed for a linen closet. We leave most of them empty now and just bought our own shelve units to meet our needs. The washer and dryer are large separate units that are kept on the patio; it's hard to keep them clean due to exposure to the environment (DUST everywhere!) but they are super large and can deal with a ton of clothes in one go. The area is safe though there is a slightly sketchy area south of here for plasma donation. Our neighbors are working class people are post-graduates so they are mellow. There are children near the larger units and teenagers that like to talk in the parking lots, but crime is low and we tend to look out for each other (at least in my building). The utilities are somewhat shared - electricity and water is bundled by building grouping so you'd better hope your neighbors strive to be green and conservative, but the price is still agreeable. I would recommend these apartments to friends.

Nice Apartments and great staff
We have been living here for almost a year now. Recently renewed our lease. I will highly recommend these apartments especially to people who want to stay close to ASU. Orbit comes frequently and you can also easily bike from here. The staff is very helpful and since our stay, we never faced any issue. The community itself is peaceful. Maintainence servicee is quick too.

Great place to live
It is a very quite and nice apartment, they allow basically any breed of dog and cat. So if you have pets especially a restricted breed like Husky or German Shepherd, don't hesitate to move in here. I ve been living here for one whole year, staff here are very friendly, especially Bree, she is very sweet and helpful. Also the maintenance services are very quick and good. Near ASU too, you could ride a bike to campus, but please park your bike inside your room.
