Neighbors Southwest stands as a beautifully developed residential and commercial neighborhood west of Tigard, in the southern area of Beaverton. Along with attractive residential areas, the neighborhood features a park system, exciting restaurants and bars, and a movie theater. Scholls Ferry Road bisects the Neighbors Southwest area, connecting the neighborhood with Downtown Beaverton, Tigard, and Portland. Homes in the neighborhoods tend to be of recent construction, ranging in options from large houses and condos to townhouses and apartments.
The neighborhood features several small bodies of water, giving a romantic atmosphere for dining at upscale restaurants and cafes. Neighbors Southwest remains very walkable, and has many more dining and entertainment options than a typical suburb. Residents enjoy accessing groceries, parks, and more without requiring a long drive.

Property Ratings at Murrayhill Park
Save yourself the stress of dealing with an incompetent manager and annoying neighbors that seem to always be watching your every move. They also have some weird workers that live in the apartments for weeks on end. These people all had the same green uniforms are and stood around drinking and smoking at night...in a smoke free apartment. Not sure who they are but I think they might be the people that clean out the apartments after people move...they are just creepy and make it feel unsafe. Also the pool is like a 4 by 4 square filled with gross water
Property Manager at Murrayhill Park, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to provide your review of Murrayhill Park Apartments. We strive for a positive experience for our residents and apologize if we have fallen short in some areas. It is the goal of our community staff and Affinity Property Management to provide residents with the best possible apartment living experience. We encourage you to reach out to our corporate office to discuss any concerns you may have at 503-892-0099.
The apartments themselves are ok but for the price I feel they are not worth it. They are cheaply made and things start falling apart after a few months. We live on the first floor and it is always freezing cold no matter how long wd have the heaters on. The management is absolutely horrible. They make errors, not respond to requests as well as send false information. They sent us urgent notices of our renter's insurance expiring so we went ahead and purchased a new policy. Eventually I found out that our policy never in fact expired so I had to waste a bunch of my time on the phone cancelling the second one. Management is the worst with communication. I have several times requested for them to confirm they have received my paperwork and they never do so I have to just guess that they have. There are also too many dogs here and dog poop all over the place. The pool is a joke and is closed a lot and they blame this on residents not showering. The location is great but I feel like the terrible management along with cheeply made apartments far outway that one positive aspect of these apartments.
Property Manager at Murrayhill Park, Responded To This Review
Our goal at Murrayhill Park is to provide our residents with the best possible apartment living experience. We make every effort to identify and address maintenance issues as they occur. If there are items within your apartment or throughout the community you feel need attention, we encourage you to submit a maintenance request listing those items so they can be addressed. We don’t often get reports of apartments being cold when thermostats are set to a comfortable temperature. Submitting a maintenance request for this issue would allow maintenance staff to inspect the heaters and thermostats to determine if any adjustments or replacements need to be made. Renter's insurance is a requirement at Murrayhill Park. We believe it is in the best interest of our residents that they have continued renter’s insurance coverage as it protects your belongings should an unfortunate event occur. Murrayhill Park doesn’t provide or manage the insurance policies so it is our resident’s responsibility to provide us with updated proof of coverage each time their policy renews. We do send reminders to residents when we see the proof of coverage that they last provided to us has expired. The best way to avoid a lapse in proof of coverage we have on file is to list Murrayhill Park as an “Interested Party” on your policy. This allows your insurance provider to send us updates each time the policy renews. The pool is one of the many amenities provided to our residents. Murryahill Park follows city codes when maintaining the pool. When the weather is as warm as this past summer was, the pool gets a significant amount of use which can sometimes alter the chemical levels. When this occurs, in order to comply with city codes, we temporarily close the pool and return the chemistry back to the proper levels as quickly as possible. Our residents appreciate that Murrayhill Park is a pet friendly community. Since Murrayhill Park is the only community in the area with our own dog park, we provide numerous pet waste stations and regularly send out notices reminding pet owners of their responsibility to clean up after their pets. Unfortunately, like all communities, some pet owners neglect those responsibilities and choose not to pick up after their pets. When residents see this occur, we encourage them to report it to our office so we can address it with the pet owner as it is a violation of community rules. We hope you will reach out to us with any concerns or to address any maintenance requests. We continue to strive to make your residence at Murrayhill Park an enjoyable one.
I have been EXTREMELY happy with my decision to move into an apartment at Murrayhill Park. Not only is the complex well taken care of, its very scenic. Multiple walkways cut through well landscaped green space for children or pets to enjoy, and park benches allow a quiet place to sit. I always feel safe when walking back from the gym in the dark. The clubhouse is always clean and orderly. The gym is great, and typically pretty quiet. The saunas, pool and jacuzzi are also kept in great working order. I love my apartment, the style is updated and the walls aren't too thin. It's great having a small patio and fireplace as well. I never have trouble finding a parking space adjacent to my apartment, and there are numerous extra spaces for company. I would highly recommend this complex. The location is in walking distance from grocery stores and various dining restaurants. You cannot beat the quality for the price!
This place is awesome. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Very dog friendly which my pooch and I both love. Walking distance to Safeway. Laundry and Fireplace in unit. Really no complaints. It's got everything I want and need!
