Consistently named among the best places to live in the nation, San Jose is a thriving city at the very heart of America’s tech industry. The highly-walkable downtown is a popular hangout for the entire community, featuring lush parks, exquisite restaurants, performance venues, and a vibrant nightlife scene. Over 30,000 students attend San Jose State University, and the position of the campus right downtown contributes to the college having a major impact on the local culture; the collegiate influence is amplified by the numerous smaller colleges throughout the city as well. The city layout is full of bike lanes, sidewalks, and trails, making the community very walkable and bike-friendly.
San Jose is an excellent city for sports fans, between the San Jose Sharks NHL team, the San Jose Giants baseball team (affiliate to the more famous San Francisco Giants), and the 49ers playing at Levis Stadium in neighboring Santa Clara.

Since we moved in to Museum Park, our experience has been outstanding. We found a manager who works to provide the best living experience for residents, helping in any particular situation we may have. About maintenance, Enrique is very professional, respectfuk and friendly he shows knowledge of what he is doing; Marcy, is friendly, helpful, and keeps the property clean. Having a security guard around has made us feel safe.

Museum Park Apartments is an absolute nightmare to reside in. The property management is shockingly inadequate, displaying a complete disregard for residents' needs and consistently delaying necessary maintenance and repairs. Adding to the distressing living conditions, homeless individuals freely wander the property, compromising safety and creating an unsettling atmosphere. As if that weren't enough, the ongoing construction next door disrupts sleep patterns, leaving tenants sleep-deprived and frustrated. To top it all off, illegal activities are occurring on the premises, putting residents at risk and leaving them feeling incredibly vulnerable. I strongly caution against choosing Museum Park Apartments, as it not only fails to prioritize the well-being and safety of its tenants but also provides an all-around terrible living experience.

Nick and Sandra... they're amazing! Personable, professional.. no task to small or large to tackle. Hard working and ready to handle any obstacle. I called maint. for an issue non-related to apartment, the issues was regarding safety and trying to get connected to the emergency on call petrol due to someone beating on my door and demanding their way into my apartment. Nick went above and beyond; yes, he gave me the number for courtesy patrol, however he stayed on the phone with me and went to help me with the issue I was encountering. He was so professional, made the non- resident or person leave and made sure I knew that the community was looked after. I have ever had maint, operate with such integrity. He did what was right when no one was looking. That speaks volumes to me about the people who work here and Greystar in general. Good people left and right! I trust that I'm in good hands.

Residents do not follow non- smoking policy, multiple residents smoke within the property and management does not enforce it. Residents also smoke along the buildings which leads to smoke coming in through the windows. It is not clear if there are any smoking designated areas. One resident in particular smokes while standing in their balcony and in the garage. Security does not patrol and there are people coming in to the property from the street. Some residents have questionable guests coming onto the property and loitering in the common areas. Management also does not enforce a couple of units with dirty, trashed balconies and other units who's residents do motorcycle repairs leaving oil stains on the floor and around the garage entry. Previous management used to walk the property and make sure that residents were at least following visible property rules. Within the last year this has not been the case.

The property is beautiful. It's great that it is pet friendly. The fountain is a serene place to be near. I don't have children however I believe that it would be really nice if part of the grass area could be dedicated to a playground. The neighbors are really nice. The property is safe to walk through day or night. The ceilings are extra high so they are great for tall people. The apartments are big and come with sufficient lighting throughout and extras like dishwasher, microwave, washer dryer, and garage. It's cool that there is also an office space area. Also there is a bathtub and shower. It is minutes to downtown, shopping, SJSU , SJCC, and the MLKJ library. There are grocery stores, restraints, convenient stores, CVS and Walgreens close by. There is also a hardware store close as well as repair shops car washes, entertainment, museums and hotels for when family and friends come from far and wide to visit.. If exercise is your thing the Los Gatos trail/Guadalupe River trail is close by so you can enjoy nature as you walk, run, ride bikes or skate to keep in shape. We are located a short walking distance from busses, trains and public transportation

This place was on the short list among the places I was considering renting from. After countless times trying to email and call them, during their business hours, it became a fruitless endeavor. I have no desire to stay somewhere that can't even follow up or contact me back. likely is indicative of how the property is run

management is super nice and they know my name already even though I have barely moved in a little over a month ago. The apartment common grounds are well kept and the apartments are nice. A bonus is they are super pet friendly as well. Neighbors are observant as far as being able to see who shouldn't be here a nd there is always security that is quick to respond when an incident arises

Could not recommend this property and Im looking to move out early because this community is gone downhill since the last property management came in to work at the site the maintenance manager was always running around with so many empty units and working nights and weekends but now that hes gone things are deteriorating fast and finally the current property manager is not enforcing parking permits and allows non-permitted parking to take up very limited parking for long-term parking this creates even more severe parking problems for tenants that would like to share the limited parking spaces that have permits in their cars displayed

Living is Museum Park is a great way to experience all that San Jose has to offer! After being here for a few years, its been great having walking access to see the Sharks play or hit up San Pedro Square or SoFA for a night out or the nearby theaters/auditoriums for shows. The units are also modern and spacious, love the stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, tall ceilings, and a garage to charge my electric car!

I've been living at Museum Park for 3 years (both in a loft and then a townhouse). Its been great, the units themselves are cozy and stylish, I love the tall ceilings! Being in walking distance of downtown San Jose (SoFA, San Pedro, Little Italy, etc), the SAP center, Willow Glen, and so many more places is wonderful to make you feel a part of the city. The centralized location is also great for cycling, with the Guadalupe River trail and the Los Gatos Creek trail so close by. New management has been an added bonus with the grounds looking well maintained. Neighbors are friendly with lots of pet lovers. Come join the community, you'll feel right at home.

Museum Park is my dream living apartment. Its close to downtown (5-10 min walk), in a small open community, with amazing floor plans, and reasonable leasing options. The staff, Hang and Roman, have been responsive and communicative in regards to apartment needs and leasing. The community seems friendly, welcoming, and quiet.
I lived in this complex for almost a year, and have enjoyed my time here immensely. I lived in a 1-bedroom loft, and I felt spoiled by in-unit laundry, dishwasher, and awesome natural lighting and high ceilings. The location is amazing; walking distance to downtown, Caltrain, light rail, and SAP center. That being said, let's get to the cons. This apartment was pretty expensive to start with. After my lease ended my rent was raised by about 12%. This was what caused me to eventually leave. I miss the place but I wasn't prepared to get gouged by the greedy company that runs this complex. In addition to the price, two minor annoyances take away from the charm of the place: My apartment was right on San Carlos st, which meant constantly hearing the sound of cars whooshing by. After a while you'll learn to tune it out, but even after a year I still got woken up in the middle of the night by loud cars and motorcycles. Annoyance number 2: No elevator. Not a big deal for the most part, I didn't mind the exercise, but when you're moving furniture or hauling groceries you'll find yourself wishing there was at least a service elevator. Again, for me this wasn't too big of a problem, but sadly it does mean that if you're living with limited mobility then this apartment will be completely inaccessible.
300 3rd Street was a Yerba Buena "start-up", arriving earlier than most modern buildings in SF. The building is a condo and has occasional rentals units for a minimum 6 month term per rules. Built in 1990, 300 3rd Street has been a solid if often overlooked building. Modern in it’s day, the all glass walls of nearby neighbors like The Millennium Tower can make the exterior of this building feel a bit busy, yet you still get floor to ceiling glass in every unit and with a walk score of 97, the location can’t be beat. Zen: Yerba Buena Gardens are across the street. Whole Foods is around the corner on 4th St. Crunch Gym in the building. Heated lap pool outdoors. Quiet green inner courtyard. Yet, the Moscone Convention Center and access to the transit options are across the street. Parking underground for a monthly fee. Doorman to greet you. Consider yourself lucky if you snag an apartment here.
