Muskegon is home to the largest beach in Western Michigan, and the coastline serves as a major attraction for locals and visitors alike. The city takes pride in keeping the beaches clean and pet-friendly, and boating and fishing are very popular here as well. Believe it or not, a small but dedicated community of surfers takes full advantage of the Lake Michigan wave action in Muskegon.
There’s an abundance of outdoor family activities year-round, with the Michigan’s Adventure amusement park in the summer and Muskegon Winter Sports Complex offering everything from luge to cross-country skiing when it gets cold. The city contains several landmarks celebrating the area’s history as both a lumber region and a maritime center.
The arts and culture scene incorporates the Muskegon Museum of Art, Broadway musicals at the Frauenthal, and performances by the West Michigan Symphony Orchestra.

Property Ratings at Muskegon Townhouses
This neighborhood is relatively quiet and well kept on the outside, but overpriced. The maintenance sucked, and I always had to request something to get fixed multiple times before it actually got fixed the right way. My bedroom ceiling leaked a few times and it took almost a month to get it repaired and the mold taken care of. I lived there for three years and had several frustrating experiences, but it was a decent place to live. I loved having in unit laundry, and not having anyone living above/below me. This is definitely one of the better apartments in the area.
I love my apartment. When I first put an application in, I didn not think they would approve me because of my credit. I was in a bad relationship with my sons father and I had to get away, I told them my situation and they approved me within a few days, when they called I cried because I really needed to get away and on top of that I loved the apartments! They are perfect for my son and I. Very quiet and peaceful...Winning free rent for a year or life would be a blessing...
