Nashville’s Riverfront neighborhood is an up-and-coming sector of Downtown with premier proximity to everything that makes Nashville the Music City. Residents of the Riverfront can enjoy Riverfront Park, offering five acres of waterfront city park that houses boat docks, a lively amphitheater, and the perfect place for some outdoor recreation while enjoying scenic views with the river on one side and historic storefronts in Downtown Nashville on the other.
Along with scenic views of Cumberland River, the Riverfront neighborhood is adjacent to First Tennessee Park, known for its minor league baseball games and exciting events. And on the other side of the stadium you’ll find Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, which tells the story of Tennessee’s history through monuments, placards, and fountains.
Though commuting is easy with proximity to Interstates 40 and 24, along with the Music City Star Riverfront Transit Station, there is plenty to see in the heart of Nashville itself.

Property Ratings at Nance Place
So I'm a native Nashvillian, something that is a rarity these days, as we are the current "IT CITY" in the U.S.and people are moving here by the droves. I've seen so much growth and change here, all for the better, and it just keeps getting more beautiful here. The downside to being the IT CITY is that affordable housing can be tough to find, very tough. l found it!..and in the best location in the city! I live at Nance Place Apartments in the Rolling Mill Hill area of Downtown Nashville Tennessee. If you'e not familiar with Nashville, trust me when I say that this is THE BEST location in the city. It's proximity to all parts of Nashville is amazing with super close access to the interstate as well for easy travel to anywhere else. It's still completely quiet though...so.peaceful. Nance Place is a tax credit property which means that it offers amazingly affordable rates in incredible locations in order to receive a tax break at the end of the year from Uncle Sam. It is income capped, but it is not subsidized. For instance, I live in a studio apt at Nance Place ( one of the biggest studios I have ever seen) by myself, and the cap is 28,200 per year..with a rent of 651.00 per month. For Downtown Nashville, this is an AMAZING price..in a very modern.building..with an urban but earthtone color and style. The views of the city and the river are INSANE! There is access to the Greenway (a walking/biking trail) as well. There is also a computer room, media room, and a workout room. Nance Place is also LEED certified so its made from mostly recycled materials, is airtight for an affordable electric bill, and they also recycle all our garbage here for us. We put it all down one chute, and they do the rest. The appliances are all stainless steel at Nance Place, and if there is ever sn issue with anything ( including even a burned out light bulb) just call the office (which is on-site) and maintence comes to fix the issue in no time. Besides Studios, there are also 1,2, and 3 bedroom apsrtments here. I don't off hand know all the prices but I do knoe that 3 bedrooms go for less than 1000.00! Also,.the income cap allowance is higher for each additional person living in the apt. It really is a dream living here at Nance Place. To give you an idea of the location's desirability the building right next to Nance Place charges 1400.00 per month for a studio! Check out Nance Place! Mark my review helpf if you think it is! Thanks!
I just renewed my lease for the 3rd year at Nance Place. I have absolutely loved my time there. It's very safe and I have never felt at risk in any way. All outside doors are secure, and the underground parking garage is secure. The managers are incredibly nice. Maintenance is typically very fast to fix any problems. My electric bills are amazing due to the energy efficient building. I have never seen a bug in my apartment. The only downside that I've noticed is that there are some residents that do not pick up after themselves, but that problem is everywhere. Overall a great place to live and absurdly affordable.
