Property Ratings at Nantucket at Fannin Station
Don’t move hear if you care about having running water or electricity. I have lost running water for 2-3 days in a row every month is 2024. All you will get it sorry for the inconvenience emails. STAY FAR AWAY if you care about cleanliness

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We are sincerely sorry to hear about the issues you’ve faced with water and electricity. This is not the standard we strive for, and we understand how frustrating this must be. We are actively working to resolve these problems and improve our communication with residents. We appreciate your patience at this time.
Lovely apartment minus the baby sink and the ancient stackable washer & dryer. I loved the view from my apartment, it got so much sun! I have no issues with the maintenance staff, they are wonderful. I don’t even particularly have issues with management inside the leasing office. I have a major issue with the fact that in less than six months, all four of my tires have been stolen TWICE. Management knows that newer models of Toyota and Honda are SPECIFICALLY targeted. MANAGEMENT ALSO KNOWS THAT THERE IS A HIGH PROBABILITY THESE INCIDENCES ARE INSIDE JOBS. The criminals live there or at least have access from residents that do. The first time my tires were stolen overnight, the second time, they were stolen at 1:15 in the afternoon!!!! ON CAMERA. WITH AUDIO. Therefore, it doesn’t matter where you park, when you park, or if it’s in full view of a camera. MY CAR WILL ALWAYS BE A TARGET. These criminals DO NOT CARE. Which causes anxiety and paranoia EVERY DAY. This is no way to live! I have seen no additional lights in the parking lot, no additional cameras, the only effort I’ve seen is one of the lazy courtesy officers circling the parking lot in the middle of the night. Well, what does that do for vehicles that are vandalized in the broad daylight on a Sunday!? Instead of accommodating me, they’ve offered me a “FREE GARAGE” that they don’t even have!! I want to be let out of my lease with no early termination fee!

Hi, Jalissa. Due to the content of your ongoing reviews, we think it would be best if we spoke with you directly. Please stop by our office at your earliest convenience so we can discuss these claims. We look forward to speaking with you soon. -Management Team
I was stuck at this location after COVID struck and it suddenly became the only place I could afford near the med center. That is no longer the case. After several unfortunate years here in multiple units, here is my review: Pros: -Relatively close to the med center. -Uncovered parking is free, and I haven’t had my car broken into. -Packages are most often easily received and delivered. -Can at first be an affordable choice, but you will never be able to afford renewal. -Tenants, while noisy, seem to be mostly kind people, and it’s a diverse and welcoming demographic. Cons: -It’s a roach hotel. The “Valet Living” trash “service” they make you pay for (no opting out) will skip days without warning, leaving hallways packed with trash. -During a particularly hot summer, they seemed to have lapsed in their pest control (all the outside roach bait boxes were collected and didn’t come back). Roaches of both major types swamped the apartments for the hottest part of the summer. Also, ants and spiders are a permanent nuisance, and they leave the hallways absolutely festooned with spiderwebs. -Lazy cleaning crew. The hallways are left consistently uncleaned for weeks at a time. The hallways, trash rooms, elevators, and even newly cleaned apartments will be filthy. See how many boogers you can see wiped on the elevator walls if you visit. -Loud tenants. There are no enforced noise rules, and all the units are in the same building. If you’re in a courtyard facing unit, I hope you’re not nightshift. -Rude staff. They shuffled staff through at a rapid clip over the last year, and none of the good staff or managers who used to be here remain. They will be overtly aggressive in some cases, and mockingly dismissive in others. -Unwilling to negotiate leases or renewals, even when better apartments nearby are cheaper (as is the case now, thankfully). -Gun crime. There are gunshots in the back parking lot every other weekend. Consider yourselves warned. “Courtesy officers” seem to ignore it. -Stray and abandoned pets. Abandoned dogs were living in the back lot and attacking residents for weeks during February of 2022. Two years ago I would have given this place a solid three stars and recommended it if you were desperate and downsizing. Now I wouldn’t recommend it even then. This review is from January 2023.
It is a huge mistake to move here! Having free months' rent is not worth the headache—random charges on your lease with no explanation. Then when asked for a simple explanation, they have no explanation. After I told them repeatedly to explain the charge and I will pay it along with the deposit for the new kitten. Still crickets on the random unexplained charge. Their retort was to charge a late fee on the random charge with no explanation. The moral of the story is Nantucket at Fannin Station assumes you will not read your lease, so they can add unexpected charges for you to pay! Forget moving here if you are a shift worker and cannot see them during office hours because they don't read emails!
I'm shocked to see all these five star reviews. The best part about this property is the location. The office staff seems nice but I've been attempting to speak to the manager for MONTHS and have yet to receive a call back. The leasing agents duck and dodge phone calls and it's quite sad. The elevator is broken every other day. Neighbors are loud. The model units look nice but if you must move here, please view your actual unit before signing the lease because construction isn't the greatest. Overall, the office staff has thoroughly pissed me and my apartment locator (who they don't want to pay) off and I would not recommend this place.
We pay for a 2BD2B but 1/2 the time we only have 1 functional BA. We have had leakage from under the sinks in both toilets. We have had blocked flush. We have had the shower rod fall off the wall while taking a shower. Per the management, there is no way to secure the shower rod to the wall. There is always the risk that the shower rod can fall while pregnant me, my child or guest is in the shower and poses a serious injury risk. According to their made up rules, if any tenant leasing an apartment with 2 BA and has 1 functional restroom, they don’t consider it an ‘emergency ’ to attend to your second restrooms work orders. According to their rules they have 24h to fulfill service requests. I have NEVER had a service requested attended to within the described time frame. I file my service request and make several in person requests with their management sitting in the leasing office and it still takes several days and sometimes even weeks for any request to be attended to. The delays are so severe that I have had to use private contractors at a personal expense to have problems taken care of. The attitude of the personnel in the leasing office is unprofessional and they don’t take any genuine complaints seriously. They don’t seem to understand that paying rent for a 2BA apt means that I need 2 BA and not 1 and that’s why I pay the higher rent compared to a 1 BA apartment.

We are truly sorry your experience was not to your satisfaction. If you could email social@lynd.com I will give your info to the correct department that can help with your concerns.
Change in Management Staff recently. Great customer service! Clean community and pet areas! Whenever I go into the office I am greeted with friendly staff members. Starbucks coffee is always full and I feel really welcomed here. Love this place! I recently attended their first greet an meet with the new staff and had free ice cream.
I have lived here for 8 months and love it! The office and staff are friendly and very helpful whenever any problems arise and it is right down the street from the medical center where I work. On top of that they give a percentage off if you work in a government job. Only downfall is parking is small for the amount of tenants but if you get home at the right time it won't be a problem. I overall love these apartments!
Roaches in the hallways and in my apartment the day I moved in. Still finding roaches even after they sprayed. Found out today that multiple apartments complaining about roaches. My first week here, cars were broken into in the parking lot. I complained about chemical fumes in the bathroom making me sick and they lied about coming by to investigate the smell. Management wasn’t helpful and made excuses for everything. I even called/emailed their corporate office and got no response. Worst apartment experience!
I have been a resident of this complex for almost a year, besides the occasional noise from the parking lot etc, I have not experienced any problems. The office staff is very friendly and everyone knows you by name. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move here. Great location, decent rate, safe, and clean.
Dogs are allowed to poop anywhere - walking out beware of stepping in poop. also the hallways get extremely slippery when wet, allowing for an accident to happen. I am posting this so the community can be aware- and the Resident at Fannin Station Management - cant say they did not know about the dangerous hallways. Just imagine an elderly person trying to walk through the hallways and get serious injured. My parents will not even visit me because of the unsafe hallways. In addition; I woke up one morning to one of the mangers beating ( not exaggerating about the beating ) on my door about parked in a wrong spot- and it was not even my car. " and this was not the first time" Management was involved and notified about my fall, and their only concern was " when are you paying your rent". Please read reviews, not just this site but others before living here. ( wish I would have ) Now I am stressed and possibly about to be on the street with my kids if this doesn't get settled.
When I first moved in the complex was only 1/3 leased and everyone was respectful of the property and of one another. Over the months you can see the change in people moving in, lots more riff raff. The visitor parking is extremely limited given the size of the complex. Myself and many other residents have noticed that you can hear everything through the walls and the spaces above your apartment. It sounds like the person above me is constantly stomping around morning, noon and night. Also, the construction site next to the complex was supposed to be a 6-9 month project before i moved in, it has much exceeded the limit and we have received a letter from the site that does not imply that they will be moving anytime soon. The reed rd street has still not been paved and there are pot holes and dust is still all over your car. This complex was awesome in the beginning but now residents don’t really respect the property which is unfortunate for those who were originally here. And unlike some of the reviews i believe that the staff has been exceptional and they’ve always taken care of any needs I have very expeditiously.
Perfect location and the amenities are great! The grounds are well kept and management really cares about their residents!

I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS SO THIS IS SERIOUS The property is beautiful. The apartments are spacious and the very modern. The office staff is very nice. That's where it ends. 1. You are basically paying to live in a nice, high crime area. 2. ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES and I am just being made aware that this is a KNOWN problem. 3. The hallways are disgusting from trash drippings to dead roaches. 4. My car was towed and damaged. Therefore, I haven't driven it since it was returned to me. No one is willing to take responsibility. All I'm getting is "I'm sorry" and "we didn't do it." 5. ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES I am totally disappointed and disgusted with this property.

Phillina, thank you for your feedback. Last week, we had all 4 floors sprayed on the scheduled Pest Control visit and we also had the exterior of the property treated for other pests. We are working to keep our hallways clean and be proactive about the pest situation. We understand your frustration and appreciate your patience while we work to improve our community. If you have any other concerns, please make sure to reach out to us. Our door is always open and we would be more than happy to address any questions. Thank you.
Recent robberies, no inside hall cameras, dirty hallways, parking and pool rules never enforced. Renters beware!!!! The units are nice but the community needs lots of work. The Galleria and Med center complexes wouldn't deal with half of the problems this place has brought upon themselves. Step it up management, make this an awesome place to live.
Property Manager at Nantucket at Fannin Station, Responded To This Review
We acknowledge your comments and we are truly sorry that your time with us has been less than ideal. Unfortunately, Fannin Station is just as vulnerable to crime as any other apartment community. We are in the process of installing additional cameras in our hallways and we hosted a resident awareness meeting earlier this week. We are planning on hosting additional meetings so our community can come together, be proactive, and get to know each other. Please, contact our office and we would be glad to address your concerns. Our team is working to make Fannin Station an awesome place to live. Feedback like yours helps us improve. Thank you.
This is a brand new complex not far from the Nrg stadium and the Med center but it is back there by itself. That's not bad if you don't want traffic but it sits right before a construction site. Cars stay dusty and you will dodge 18 wheelers if you happen to live on the Reed road side of the complex. The parking lot entrance is right next to the construction site entrance; horrible. They have a gate on Fannin st. but it is not accessible; that would have been a great entrance to that side of the complex. Other than that, it is quiet because it isn't fully occupied. The pool is nice and units are designed well, yet the staff lacks customer service and follow up skills. They will completely ignore maintenance requests after work has been scheduled. This place has great potential but they are sloppy at this point. Maybe some training will help.
Property Manager at Nantucket at Fannin Station, Responded To This Review
We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with your service requests. As for the gates and where they were located when the property was built, these plans were approved by the City of Houston prior to breaking ground on the community. In the future, the construction entrance leading to the stop sign, that should not be there much longer. It is a short contract and should be completed in about 6-9 months. The City of Houston will be working on that road as well and re-paving it. We are deeply sorry that you have encountered frustrations and sincerely apologize for any inconveniences that you have experienced while living here. We appreciate your feedback and I would love the opportunity to speak with you on this and know more about the issues you have been having in your apartment home. Sincerely, Kris Munson Property Manager
