Property Ratings at Nash Springs Apartments
There is no place like home, I love this place, I would love to stay even longer depending on if rent goes up or not. This is a place I consider safe for my 8 year old and I.
Just moved in almost a month ago, everything has been perfect

The living experience at Bellaire Ranch was very fulfilling to me, nice amenities very clean spaces and ground areas, the community is very welcoming.

Thank you for your review! We loved having you here as a resident!
Been here for several years now and the staff is definitely not friendly to anyone but potential renters. Asked a number of times about the lights in the stair ways. Simple work order especially with my years of experience in building maintenance. Mind you im talking about the public access ways to the apartment buildings. Many lights are out and its difficult to see fumbling around in the dark trying to find the right key. Been told several lies about the issue and now they are out right canceling my request.

Hi there, we appreciate your honest feedback, as we are always looking for ways to improve. It is discouraging to learn of your experience with us. Your feedback helps us improve and we would like to learn more about how we can make this better. Bellaire Ranch
Note to all future and current residents. When you move out, they hire an outside company to inspect and bill you for every tiny thing wrong with your apartment. We had maintenance come thru and they said we would not be charged for anything, including a few small dings we were worried about and a spot they patched months before but never painted over. When it came time to move out the maintenance staff check on our place meant nothing. We were charged for the patch job that Bellaire did themselves. There was only regular wear and tear on our place. Also you will be charged for carpet cleaning no matter how nice you leave it.

We appreciate your efforts to make sure your apartment is clean during your move out. As we are still in a pandemic, professional carpet cleaning is necessary to follow health and safety protocols and ensure that the apartment is fully cleaned and disinfected. If you have complaints with the aforementioned charges, please email us at bellaire.cm@avantiresidential.com or give us a call at 719-574-3377 so we can further assist you.
Horribly run complex. Staff has no idea what they're doing and they don't take accountability for mistakes on their end. Definitely went down hill after Leslie left. When you leave they will come after every dime. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere

We value the feedback of our residents, and would be happy to hear from you.
During my time at Bellaire ranch a number of things happened that were unacceptable. First off I was almost wrongfully evicted due too an error on their end. I am in the military and had just returned from a field exercise. I had a written notice of eviction on my door for unpaid rent. The thing is i had paid rent in advance of its due date because i knew i was going to be in the field. Oh and the reason i had to write a physical check is because their online portal for auto pay was malfunctioning. Next issue i had came with the management. I moved into what was supposed to be a smoke free room. I was assured that it was by the manager. After about a week I could smell the residue smoke from a previous tenant. I lived in a ground floor unit. The water heater and it's pipes ran directly into the ground. I woke up one morning to burning sensations all over my body. Ants had come up through the foundation and into my apartment through the water heaters pipes. When i asked the managment to get an exterminator to fix the problem, they insinuated that the ants were my fault because I must have been messy. Eventually I got one of them to come look at the problem and they agreed to call an exterminator, only problem is that it took them over a week to get him into my apartment to fix the issue. Overall my experince was awful for a multitude of reasons. If ever have to rent again and I see the Alturas or Avanti parent company, I will turn around and find anywhere else to live.

Of course the office staff is nice before you sign the lease. The lease is not clear whatsoever and they tell you utilities are with the city, even when you ask them to clarify to your face if that’s the only utility charge. What they don’t tell you is that they’ll also charge water, trash, sewer, all of that for your apartment and COMMON AREAS too, separate from the utility company and it’s added to your rent. If you move here or currently live here, record every single conversation you have with the front office staff and have a witness, especially the snake Anita who did this. She is beautifully nice before you sign the lease but different after. There was also a time there were double charges on my account, (I have since been reimbursed for) but she Immediately accused Me of being confused and misreading. But after she looked at it, I was right. Another time, I rang the bell for the front desk and no one came, and I could hear them clear as day speaking foul about some of the residents/re-applicants in the back office. When there’s maintenance issues, they’re rude when they come in. They’ll accuse you of yelling at them but you don’t even get a word in if you don’t at least raise your voice over their constant “ma’am”s when they hear something they don’t like. I just expect everyone to be rude all the time. Even the manager of the complex admitted he had to do a saturday staff meeting because he knows all of his staff are giving wrong info and aren’t trained. I could go on a lot longer but I think the point has been made. I paid the RIDICULOUS AND UNHEARD OF $2,500 buyout price to get the hell away from these liars. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, $2,500 is the buyout price!!!! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. Another heads up. It doesn’t matter if you own a $1200 carpet shampooer that is the same exact system the professionals own, they will still require you to hire a company to shampoo the carpets for you during move out and do the same job you can do, even though it’s not on the lease. Never in my life had I had so many issues with a complex. Usually I move in and they don’t hear from me again until I give my notice. I was warned by EVERYONE on all of the military pages not to move in, some units on the bases have even blacklisted this complex to all soldiers/airmen and I wish I would have listened.
I am not a complaining person and have never left a bad review for anyone, but I definitely regret our decision to live here! We have only lived here for a few months and are very unhappy compared to our recent apartments. Our apartment is very beautiful and updated, but the service and amenities are terrible. APARTMENT: The day we moved in our air conditioning was not working, so we had to sleep our first night here with no air. And it still isn't the greatest now... Luckily it doesn't get too hot in CO. Our dryer also did not work and it took them over a week to fix it. Then once it was fixed they randomly showed up to our door three weeks later with a new dryer. So obviously there is no communication going on. The people living below us also let their dogs use their balcony as a bathroom. So on the hot and sunny days the smell is terrible. POOL: They have had the hot tube drained for weeks! Which is one of the big things we were excited about. MAIL: Packages are delivered to the main office, and I have had to go back three times in one day because the person did not check throughly (when I told them there should be more than one package) and would only bring out one. GYM: If having a gym is important to you.. do not come here. Both treadmills are currently unavailable because someone cut the security magnet off, and the elliptical makes an extremely loud screeching sound. PARKING: I walked outside one night last week to find my husbands truck getting towed for "no permit" when it was obviously RIGHT THERE ON THE WIND SHEILD! The man working for the tow company was very nice and once I pointed out the sticker he unhooked everything. He was also very appalled that whoever the monitor was that night was obviously not looking hard enough. The truck may be tall, but not too tall to see a sticker on the window! I am just glad that I walked out to the car when I did. AREA: We are not from CO, so I am unsure of this, but we have also heard that this is not in the safest part of town. We are not normal people to complain and have left GREAT reviews for our last places. Nothing of this is exaggerated. We are already looking into other places and will be moving out as soon as our lease is up!! Just too many things wrong just in the first few months we have lived here.
The office staff is usually very good at responding however they cannot control the filth of the tenants. They said they will power wash the breezeways but nothing yet. People throw trash in the parking lots. Someone put garbage in the recycle dumpster almost 2 weeks ago and it is sooooo stinky! The staff took the report last week and said they would take care of it and its still there. Disgusting!! I hope they get it out soon. Yuck!!
The property is beautiful and well maintained. Issues stem from the incompetent personnel who run Bellaire Ranch and now Alturas at Bellaire Ranch. I don't recommend moving here under any circumstances. Since Bellaire Ranch management has taken over my vehicle was towed out of my own parking spot, dumpsters constantly overflow, snow never gets cleared, vehicles are allowed to be left on jack stands, and the final straw happened today. The apartment complex announced launching a new registration policy requiring dog owners to provide everything short of a DNA test to prove the breed of your dog. Pet owners need to have a veterinarian certify the breed of their dog (stupidest thing I have ever heard, how can you prove that either way??), you must spay/neuter your dog, and of course the one portion I agree with is the vaccination of dogs. Now I get to pay a veterinarian to say no your dogs are none of the breeds listed. You bought the property Alturas from Griffins Blessing, how I wish they still owned and managed this property. One more thing before you publish a letter that hundreds of other people are going to read start by proof reading it idiots!!!
Since they taking over my apartment complex has gone from a five-star to about one star. They are very unprofessional .when it snows they do not clean up the snow .
The office personnel and maintenance personnel are very responsive to the tenants needs. The property is well maintained and prices are reasonable.
We live in the 2B2B floor plan. Very nice... even my larger sectional and a recliner fits in the living room! We really like the apartment itself and our neighbors are fairly quiet. A lot of families here, lots of pets (it does have a smaller dog park on the property), and a lot of military live here. With all of that said, I'm not a fan of the apartment office personnel. Moving from out of state to get here, it took a lot of get the keys on a Saturday because we were not aware that we needed certain things just to get the keys. We were almost homeless for a few days and my husband started work that Monday, and I have a 9 month old, would have been doing everything by myself with movers because of the lack of communication. I also called them the week before we got there and asked to have a garage added to our lease for extra storage (moving from a house to an apartment) that they did not have when we got here. No phone call, no anything to let us know there was nothing available. They do have a weird pet policy. I have ever had to give a complex a picture of my animals or vet records. As long as they got their money at other places, I have been fine, but that was also in Texas. All in all, the apartment is nice, grounds are nice, but you have to deal with an apartment office that lacks greatly in communication. If you can deal with that, it isn't a bad place to live.
This property is beautiful! It is close to everything I like to do. The office staff are great and maintenance guys work magic. I have lived here a little over a year and have had no problems. For me and my family it is one of the best places we have lived in years.
