Navajo Bluffs is at a great location with easy access to the freeway with plenty of nearby stores to meet all of your needs and within a short distance to other areas within the San Diego County.
The only thing I can say is it is next to stores within walking distance-grocery, gas, restaurants, etc..

Laundry machines and laundry room are always dirty. Maintenance is not completed in a timely fashion. There is no parking for guests, family, or friends. The cost of rent is too high. The amenities aren’t the same as advertised.

We have a dedicated onsite porter available Monday through Friday to maintain community cleanliness. If you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office at 619-589-6500, and we will promptly address them. Our maintenance team consists of one full-time and one part-time team member. We strive to respond to maintenance requests within 3 business days, except in cases of emergencies. Rest assured, we prioritize completing work orders promptly. If you have any questions about your maintenance request, please contact our office so we can assist you further. Regarding parking, we are collaborating with a parking enforcement company to provide residents with options for guest parking. Once this service is implemented, we will inform all residents promptly. Our pricing is competitive with the market, considering the price per square foot. We believe our rates are reasonable compared to properties in the La Mesa/San Carlos area. Lastly, our onsite amenities, including the fitness center and pool/spa, are accurately showcased with provided pictures. Additionally, we offer tours of the property amenities to ensure transparency.
A beautiful and safe apartment complex with very responsive administrative and maintenance teams. Our one-bedroom apartment is gorgeous and so so nice and roomy. I love all the storage space, the cozy carpet, and sleek appliances.

I have already recommended to a few friends, but they were looking for specific areas. I think the complex where my building is located is beautiful, I have great neighbors, my apartment is spacious, and my patio is huge. I love the location of my apartment because it' so private. I wish I could get more natural light, but that' just impossible with the location of my unit. The only complaint I have is the parking situation. Not enough guest parking.
The charming landscape and building structures are very comparable. It' a quiet community and gives me the sense of privacy even though there are many apartments.

Maintenance issues and how they are handled really do have an impact on the quality of living in the community. The need for maintenance repairs, in my opinion, have been reasonable, and each request has been dealt with in a timely manner.
I would recommend this apartment because they are clean, quick and efficient.
I've already recommended it to multiple people at my work at Fox Factory in el cajon.
it's a really nice place to live, but it's really far from a lot of stuff
I always recommend Navajo Bluffs to people. The excellent office personnel is the first thing I mention. Then how well the complex is kept up. And then how much I love my little apartment with the big windows and sunshine and peacefulness of my neighborhood. Assigned parking spots are a BIG deal in SD. Then, location, location, location! Peaceful residential area with freeway to everywhere super close and everything else you could possibly want just across the street or around the corner.
My neighbor next to me is extremely loud and smokes marijuana daily which leaks into my apartment. This is making my experience uncomfortable but my contract is for a year. I don't know how to correct this without my neighbor being upset and retaliating against me if I confront her.
I've been a resident for almost 4 years. The office staff are professional and knowledgeable, and treat me like family. They go out of their way to assist every tenant with the same courtesy and care, as they treat me. I have seen this. They return my calls promptly and I feel I can always reach out to them for assistance if needed. They make a point to ask about my children and grandchildren and the important things that matter to me. I love the landscaping around my unit. I know the staff works diligently at keeping the grounds clean and safe for myself and my neighbors. Navajo Bluffs is my home!

I GO TO SDSU AND IT WAS VERY CONVENIENT TO GET TO BEING RIGHT BY THE FREEWAY. LOTS OF CHOICES OF RESTAURANTS, STORES AND GAS STATIONS CLOSE BY. NICK IN THE OFFICE WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING WE EVER NEEDED.
Not a place for families. The parking is always an issue if you want to have visitors. Not a quiet or private place to live.
There is litter in the parking lot, laundry, and stairs. People drive fast and do not stop on turns in the parking lot. Not safe, would benefit from a stop/slow sign

I love that I feel safe here (except for the creepy guy at the end of my building, who I avoid), and that management is so personable. I really like the no-tolerance policy on excessive noise. And I'm VERY glad my courtyard doesn't have children. It's peaceful and the location is close to everything.

I like the neighborhood - close to the lake, relatively quiet, safe (at least I never experienced issues). The apartment and maintenance is good. The guest parking is still an issue and for 2 people with 2 cars (having 1 assigned parking) it may not be a good fit.
Great location and service. Only problem was the initial ant issue and the closets had a weird moldy smell which was a bit worrisome
I have had no problems living here. Fairly quiet and clean. An Aldi is being opened across the street soon, along with a 24 Hour Fitness. Already have a hardware store, Walgreens, Starbucks, car shop and a Chase across the street. Along with an Albertson’s nearby. But the rent for my 1 br is increasing by $230 a month, which is ridiculous. But it’s a greedy corporate move. The staff in the office is great and responsive. The laundry and swimming pool are well maintained and clean. If it wasn’t for the outrageous increase in rent, I wouldn’t be moving out.
I hope a new company buys the complex and runs it better than R and V did. It's terrible and it wont be long before something really terrible happens to a resident if they dont get better security.
The reasons I wouldn't recommend this apartment were due to ongoing parking issues (not enough visitor parking) and safety (homeless people digging in the trash cans on a weekly basis, theft of someone's motorcycle from the community, solicitations from shady companies and Jehovah's witnesses)
From the way my interaction with Nick, I have told my friends in another state if they are moving to San Diego, this would be the best place to rent from.
