Property Ratings at Neo at Ten
The hallway smells due to animal waste and refuse. The management is very hostile and always looking for ways to exploit tenants. Security is poor and interior is too basic for a supposed luxury apartments. I regret moving in to the apartments.
Property Manager at Neo at Ten, Responded To This Review
I believe you have the wrong community in this posting. I invite anyone to come view our community to see for themselves. Schedule your tour today!
Roach infested, unorganized and dirty. No one sweeps or maintains the building. You have request pest, or it’s not done. Summers are filled with roaches and gnats. I had a leak in my ceiling for months with no resolution until I called and emailed videos. This has been the worst experience of my life.
The leasing office is the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. I have ROACHES AND ANTS ALL ACROSS MY APARTMENT! For which they refuse to fix despite my paying pest control every month. I have never experienced such a terrible place to live. The leasing office is dishonest and rude. They have lied to me several times about fumigating my apartment then email me after an angry voicemail I left notifying me that the unit was NEVER SPRAYED. This is following several guarantees that it was as though I was the problem. The worst apartment complex and facility staff I have ever met in my life. The air condition was broken for two weeks of which I notified them of as a MAINTENANCE EMERGENCY and they did nothing. I am brand new to Texas from South Carolina and never experienced such terrible service, I am extremely frustrated with H6 and do not recommend them to anyone.
Overall, it's meh. Based on my tours and looking around otherwise, I expected a lot better for apartments in the area. I'll list my pros and cons. Pros: 1) Maintenance is very good! Things get fixed pretty quickly, so I'm happy about that. 2) Apartment itself is very nice. I like the cabinetry, the tub, the kitchen island, and the granite countertops very much. Cons: 1) Courtesy officer never shows up when necessary. We've reported this multiple times and nothing is done. 2) Security of the building in general is ehhhhhh. Broken gate, broken doors on the upper floors. It's not great. 3) No parking permits, and no difference between residential and guest parking. People bring dozens of guests into their single units all the time, and it's very difficult to find parking on your given floor. You can pay $50 for a reserved spot with no extra perks PER MONTH, and some idiot will park in it anyway half the time. 4) There's a large amount of dog owners here that seem to let their dogs take a dump in the hallways or on the stairs and just leave it there. A lot of the residents have zero regard for others, and the management does not care despite making platitudes to your face about solving these issues. 5) The hallways, the stairwells, and the parking garage are smelly, grimy, and full of gnats, fruit flies, and roaches. Roaches are not so much of a problem in my unit, but the gnats get in all the time, and even with an electric fly catcher, it is never enough. 6) Management is nice, I've experienced no rude behavior, but I feel like they don't even do their job half the time. People go to them to help resolve issues with other residents, and half the time they seemingly don't do anything. If they do, there isn't a lot of communication, so my trust in them has waned. 7) Fairly sure someone lit off fireworks on the fourth of july and lit the top of the building on fire. HFD had to come to put it out. No official word from the complex or GPI. Lack of communication, again on this one, and it's sorely disappointing. This doesn't even cover everything. I've only lived here for a season, and we will be moving out at the end of our lease.
Run while you can, the worst option to live, dirty corridors and parking lots, smell of marijuana everywhere, there is no security, someone broke the windows of my car and they stole my belongings and nobody does anything.
We moved here because it looks like luxury, but it was the worst decision, The people at the leasin center are the worst, they never solve anything, they take more than two weeks to solve the problem (they haven't fixed it yet), the hallway smells bad, there is no space in the garage, there is never a place or visitors or residents, it‘s horrible, DO NOT MOVE HERE you will regret
Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. Yes the apartments look nice, but it is not worth it. They look very luxury but once you start staying, it only goes down hill. To start off, the apartment complex always smells. There is trash everywhere all the time. Maintenance is a great guy only upside of this place. The garage gate was always broken and at one point someone got in and crashed 4 parked cars. They will charge you quickly for late fees but if you need something resolved, will take their time. Also do not forget to put your TV volume really low because they will fine you for disturbance. A fellow renter whom I am friends with was charged with this as well at the same time but we live on different floors. Do not even try to go to dispute it because they will not listen. The office staff is simply terrible. As stated by another user the office staff is not worth paying your money to. They will hang up on you if you try to call and resolve an issue. They are rude and do not care about anything other than getting money from the residents. You cannot contact corporate and the only person you can speak to is the manager, and she is no help whatsoever. My lease has ended and they will not let me get out of it even though I gave my notice. Find another place. Trust me.
Been a tenant since they opened. I planned to move upon each renewal I’m on my 3rd lease but hesitant because of the staff is amazing!! Ingrid the Assistant Manager is very personable, understanding and kind as well as Laura the leasing professional (Laura) actually moved me in in 2016 ( she’s been throughout a lot with me personally like family). Ashley she’s also very kind the manager is fairly new but the Staff is amazing. As you will see reviews on issues living in apartments I’ve seen far worst it’s quite w/ on-site security. Stop by tell them you saw my review. If you are like looking for a quite luxury place to call home call H6.
I don't know what happened between the time that the other reviews and myself moving in but the complex is nothing like the other reviews. Neighbors are loud. Staff says inappropriate things in the presence of residents. There are other apartments in the complex that smell badly of weed. The drains for the bathtub in the complex drain slowly. The garage gate is often open and door entrances to the complex are broken to where they do not shut properly. Residents let their pets defecate in the halls and parking garage and no one cleans it up (owner, apartment staff, or other) for days. I will not renew my lease here when my lease is up and would rather move out of town just to get away from this apartment.
I would recommend it for the staff. However, location and residents are problematic. Residents are rude, loud, and hallways smell of feces and weed. Maintenance is here to take care of the property not be servants to us residents.
The prompt response is a huge plus when moving into a new complex. Thank you for addressing my issues immediately. That is a good sign of excellent customer service.
My boyfriend and I were decided in H6 to be our home for the next 12 months until we read the reviews and noticed that some were correct. There are so many teens just walking around being a little more noisy than expected. It's like walking into a summer camp for teens. The reviews stated the same. Loud areas due to so many kids, almost as if it was a housing unit. They said that it was a "ratchet" and "ghetto" place to live. They also said how the parking lots weren't safe because of burglars and cars being broken into and our safety is something we did not want to risk. H6 is a wonderful place. Has great amenities, prices, floor plans and the cleanliness is very appealing. It's just the noise complaints and safety issues that make this place less attractive.
Would in that all other amenities perform perfectly, maintenance saw to all other requests successfully. Would hope that outside consult for HVAC would be pursued once in-house maintenance could not solve problem.
I would definitely recommend this property to anyone due to the level of service I receive each time a request is made. Service orders are completed in a timely manner, and the community is absolutely beautiful.
The community is kept clean by the staff
Based on the maintenance services here is 100% good aside other factors
