Property Ratings at New Irving Heights
Put in work orders to fix things and they get closed out and the issue is never fixed. My bathroom constantly flooded due to a crack and hole in my bathroom. It was mold in my apartment. My ac broke and they closed my work order and did not come fix it. Pay for pest control monthly and they do not spray every month. Pay for valet trash and trash stays outside the apartment for a week. They advertise a pool that’s been closed for years. The dumpsters are always overflowing with trash because it’s not enough dumpsters. The pipes rattle so bad. They never change any filters. The vents are very nasty. It’s mold instead the walls. Baseboard discoloration due to water damage from leaks they don’t fix. It’s mold in the pipes and will come out in the water. Holes in ceilings. It’s very unorganized and unprofessional. You would be better off living in a hotel extend stay than to rent from them.
If you need a fast place to stay this it but just know there has been several deaths on the premises. Ppl are always hanging out in the parking lot and on your steps. No parking PERIOD!!! The pretty pool they advertise hasn't been open in years so don't get your hopes up to go swimming. This is a pet friendly place so people walk their animals and doesn't pick up anything and the facility does not enforce it so make sure your not tracking poop throughout your apartment. The walls are paper thin so if your not a smoker but your neighbor is you will catch contact sitting in your own home. I wouldn't even recommend this place if my life depended on it. DON'T RENT HERE GO FIND SOMETHING ELSE!!! YOU MIGHT BE BETTER OFF IN THE HOOD!!!
We have been complaining about our AC leaking for the past 3 summers. Even with different management staff over the years, it's always the same. They "fix" it and it goes back to leaking. Thanks to management negligence, our hallway has been flooded for 2 months straight, there's mold and mildew, random places on the walls and ceiling have started leaking, and theres a wall caving in from the leak. And now there threatening eviction.
This place might look decent online, but is no longer the same place from 3 yrs ago. Now in 2018 majority of the residents smoke, very dangerous place to live. This place also needs a major update, it’s filthy! They never clean here. People are constantly hanging out side, if you have children this is a major no no! Office staff is a mess they never fix anything on time.
Do not rent very bad apartment complex the workers are rude my house was broken into and I want to move they will not give me my security deposit the roaches are huge and the bed bugs are bad also they been shooting for a week straight as of today
This is one of the worst places to live. Maintenance doesn't fix stuff. There have been numerous changes in management and maintenance. I would not give them a half star but this rate system won't let me do that. 1 star means poor. The owner is in NY and managers give excuses when you need something done. They charge high rent and the apartments are not worth it. Do yourself a favor and don't move here and tell your friends too. I told a friend that they don't keep the property up. He said, he heard that too
Resident for 2 years.. No ac or heat in my unit for 2 years. Took them 4 weeks to replace my refrigerator and over 8 weeks to fix a leak they caused. Management has no regards for the paying resident. Had to call the city just to get my unit in a livable contention.
I moved here because of the location being on the bus line and also being close to work. I will NEVER make that mistake again. I should have known that the day I went to pick up my keys and there was a note on the office door stating they had to leave early due to an emergency - that should have been my first clue. If you are keep good records you know when people are going to pick up the keys to move in - how long would have taken to make a phone call and let someone know can you come earlier because we have to leave early? Get in the apartment and there is so much wrong with it I took pictures of everything and still have them because I am getting my full deposit back. The toilet has duct tape inside the bowel keeping it together, along with the air conditioning unit- and yes I have pictures of that too. I had a problem with water coming out of the ceiling light in the kitchen which flooded my kitchen- and was told it's just the heating system got too cold and froze.... Really so the fact that the water is coming through a ceiling light that you have to switch on and off is ok?? No danger there..... Not to mention the cigarette smoke I was told that the walls were freshly painted and new carpet - and then was told I can buy some stuff call "****" and that should take care of the problem - NOT I smell like smoke and I have NEVER smoked but you can see the smoke coming through the vents- I had to hang carbon filters on all my vents and you can still smell it - I can't have anyone over because it's so bad.... PLEASE take a pass if possible and find another place to live - I have 120 days left and I am counting down!! P.A. Gibson, Greensboro, NC
The whole advertisement is a LIE!....the floor plans are not accurate. They only show you the dressed up "model" apartment which is different from the actual unit. These units are in need of SERIOUS upgrades; For the record I am a current resident and have been for the past 4 years. My gosh where to start....Over the span of 4 years we've had about 4 different management groups which is a pain to deal with when conducting business.Maintenance is never available to fix anything in a timely manner, and once they arrive they will give attitude while they are in the process of correcting it. Thank gosh I'm somewhat of a handy-man. As a resident I've witnessed at least 12 different personnel on the maintenance staff (usually a 4-man team) which is scary concerning the security of your possessions. The community is not an ideal place for younger children especially during the warmer months...various activities take place, probably not the best place for younger kids. Only the visible portion of the neighborhood is maintained regularly other than the occasional grass trim. Security is barely on the premises when it counts the most; they make their rounds about every 4 hours daily but during the night hours no guard is on site which is a pain because the activity happens majorly after 7pm. Most of the office personnel are good people, just bad at record-keeping; unorganized for the most part which can be a hassle when handling business matters (Let's just say keep a copy of every document submitted). I've only tolerated this place for personal reasons but the time has come for me to part ways; ideal for families struggling to get back on their feet. But definitely NOT worth the money they are asking for. Convenient YES........Sense of Security and Peace....NO!!! -Henry A. Greensboro, NC
This is the perfect apartment if you don't have a car.there stores across the street.there atms, check cashing and bill pay and you can get food and gas. There's a pool on site and for the most part the grounds are clean. Kathy R, Greensboro NC
