Property Ratings at Caswell at The Mills
I have never seen so much trash in my life! The neighbors are horrible. The kids are all over the place vandalizing everyone's doors and cars with eggs, ketchup, toilet paper. Nothing is done about it. Got roaches from my neighbors apartment and I have to pay for a roach treatment and I try to keep a clean house. Pest control was provided with the previous people. No one wants to cut the grass, this place accumulates water so I know the snakes are coming. Whatever you do, do not stop to rent from here.
Property floods each time it rains. Raw sewage coming out of drains. This property is full of raoches.
I lived here a whole year and it was terrible. Roaches everywhere, as stated in other reviews. Not only that there was raw sewage spewing from the sides of the apartments and it was just left there for weeks. You could smell it throughout the whole area. It was unsightly and disgusting but also a health hazard. The rent is ridiculous for lack of amenities. Let’s face it, there are none! Maintenance always acts as if they’re doing you a favor by fixing what they’re responsible for fixing. There is no one in the office ever. So if you have an issue good luck getting in touch with anyone. I went to turn in my key when moving out and no one was there. This place is a joke, please don’t move here.
Roaches crawling out of every crack crevice and cabinet the kitchen is not functional roaches will be on your food within the blink an eye refrigerator was disgusting when I moved in as well as the oven and bathroom apartment smelled like cigarettes this place is just disgusting
This has got to be the most disgusting apartment I’ve ever seen this place is roach INFESTED period roaches crawl out of every crack and crevice of these apartments the kitchen we never used we couldn’t roaches are everywhere the I had worst experience of my life in this place the bathrooms have rusted bottoms the stoves are not clean do not be fooled by the pictures you see online
a minute ago Went to move in on 7/6/2019 .. the place looked as if the previous tenants had just moved out. Personal belongings still in kitchen drawers, beeping smoke detector, light in bathroom didn’t work and carpet was filthy with stuff spilled on it and the property manager is going to say “ oh as a courtesy we will have someone come out and clean it “ what you mean as a courtesy the carpet needed to be replaced and not a courtesy to me. The apartment was full of roaches. Stay away they will lie to get a dollar . So, by the time I left she called the cops on my father and I, because I refused to leave til I got an explanation of how I was going to be able to cash my money orders being that I had made them out to the property. I only gave one star cause I got my money back other than that I wouldn’t be able to rate them at all .
Not professionally done renovations , cabinets not lined up , trash in the grass apartment leans like a trailer roaches in and out of cracks in the walls poor structure
Just renewed my lease for another year. Staff was very nice and professional when listening to my concerns regarding my apartment. Maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner, they have a professional pest control company that treats each apartment every month. I look forward to staying another year with my family.

We lived here for a short period of time, the rent is too high for lack of amenities. Apartments are partially renovated. I am glad to be buying a house. It’s cheaper and much better than what we were paying there. The rent is too high for the area.
