Venetian Hills is a picturesque wooded neighborhood in southwest Atlanta, about five miles from Downtown, offering peaceful suburban streets, large lots, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Though the neighborhood is almost entirely residential, there are a few local businesses and restaurants in and around the area, such as the very popular Atlanta Fish House & Grill.

Cozy single-family homes and apartment buildings can be found in Venetian Hills, along with public bus stops on major roads in the neighborhood. Venetian Hills is right next to the Oakland City Transit Station, so residents can take the subway south to the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, or north through Downtown and Midtown Atlanta, past North Buckhead and Perimeter Center, to the North Springs Transit Center. For some time outdoors, venture over to the James Orange Recreation Center or the Tup Holmes Golf Course.
