Just 10 miles north of Downtown Columbus near the intersection of Route 71 and the Outerbelt, you’ll find the community of Devonshire. Tucked right in the with neighborhoods of Northland and Forest Park, this well-established, residential neighborhood wraps around Devonshire park on Ambleside Drive, with a mix of cozy single-family homes and apartment complexes. Devonshire’s personality feels decidedly urban without the busyness of the city-center. The nearby thoroughfares make this area perfect for commuters, while the parks and nature preserves of Spring Hollow provide a welcome escape from the suburban surroundings.

Property Ratings at Newcastle Townhomes
The area is not good. Not enough parking space so there’s always someone blocking you for hours after hours.
Stay away from this place there apartments are trash everything keeps breaking the AC keeps breaking down and now The furnace is leaking water which is causing the carpet to get mold on it and no one has yet to come out (July 6 2020 ) and don’t let it rain a lot the parking lot will flood I lost my car to the flood here which was a new car ?? and there’s kids constantly running/ riding in the street playing and throwing stuff and you will get blocked in by your neighbors and can’t get out
Office personnel are rude and quite mean. Every time I talk to the office manager she gets an attitude. The owner, who I've spoken to once is really nice. Mice were an issue for a while but mysteriously disappeared when we got a cat. I feel for anyone that doesn't have one in these buildings. No insulation, single pane crappy windows, no padding under the carpet (which wore down flat with in a year) in an upstairs apartment. Patch jobs on anything that goes wrong is an overstatement, patches at least work for a little while. everything is outdated to the extreme and dangerously so pertaining to the water heater and ac/heater unit in the utility closet. These are extremely over priced for the crap you get. The only reason we moved in is because it was one of the cheapest in the Westerville school district BUT they dump all the "poor kids" in a school all the way on the other side of town where it's known for terrible staff that will look down on the "poor parents" and bullying that no one puts a stop to. So don't let the school district choice fool you. This place is all around crap.
Not only is the place infested with rats and bugs but also the management sucks. They argue with you constantly they refuse to fix things that are broke in the apartment and then when you leave they add all these extra charges so not only do you not get your deposit back but you end up owing them. The neighborhood is horrible and there is trash everywhere and kids constantly play in the driveway. I almost hit one of them with my car as I was driving. The apartments are super dirty and no matter how much you clean you will always get a rat and the management does nothing about it. You complain about it and all they do it set up mouse traps that you can do yourself. There is no exterminator. And the shower water pressure sucks you only get a sprinkle of water and the hot water only last for 3 mins. I would never recommend anyone living there. Please don’t even bother checking the place out. It is a waste of time.
The Cons: I have been living here for awhile and to date, there is no insulation in my town home. On average, you will be paying upward of a few hundred dollars a month because it is so cold and the heat runs due to poor insulation (Unless you get on average which is still over a hundred), which I wish I would've known before renting. The area is high crime with vehicle break ins and drug raids in the area. Maintenance is fast, but it is usually a patch job. The front office folks aren't the most professional, but do everything they can to assist you. It does feel like everyone is watching you and tells on you to the management office, which I feel is a little childish. The Pros: From the outside it is well kept. They celebrate every holiday with events, which is neat to see.
Rude and unprofessional rental office. Maintenance sucks everything is a patch job. Outdated units. Only reason they can charge what they do is because they are in a great school district.
The apartment is very okay but is not clean enough
My apartment is great but over priced . It is close to campus and even closer to my job . The ladies at the rental office are lovely and the property it self is very clean . Now with all that being said there is one dumpster and it is all the way on the other side of the apartments .
