Newgate is somewhere I would live for awhile. The staff is nice and very welcoming! They gets you in fast and they keep you updated and help solve your issues fast. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family !

Have lived here for almost a year and am happy to say that maintenance and apartment management has been wonderful! Very responsive and friendly. The complex is kept very nicely and I love all the green grass and trees. The paths behind the complex along clear creek are also perfect. Location is spot on and I hope to stay here for a while

No help with anything. No answer to phone calls or e mails. Pay the rent or shut up and move on.
Relocating from MI to CO was no easy task, but Nikki made the leasing process easy with her timely responses to my emails and phone messages. I leased based on the photos I saw and the reviews of the community on Google. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and my apartment was as seen online. The rent is decent for the area and the community is clean and well kept. No issues so far in the first month of renting here at Newgate.

Second month here and I am impressed by the responsiveness of maintenance. I’ve lived in many places where you have to fight tooth and nail to get things done. These guys have responded to everything within 24hrs and are super mindful if you have a pet (they make sure they are kenneled before they go in if you’re not home). I am very happy with this and it’s refreshing to live in a space where they actually respond and take action when something needs some work. Thank you!

Horrible apartment experience, worst I’ve ever had. I’ve had constant problems with so many things in my place. The toilet never works, they come and fix it, and it breaks again, unable to flush more than one sheet at a time. They didn’t send someone out to fix it in a timely manner and I had no bathroom access for 18 hours. My kitchen sink clogged and flooded in connection with my neighbors, with no cause. My window in my bedroom fell out on top of me when I tried to open it. Other windows were bowed out and let in air and bugs constantly. Whenever I asked for something to be fixed, the office never got back to me and would take weeks to send someone out, with no notice. The only time they ever responded to my emails in a timely manner was when I told them I was not renewing my lease and they wanted me to stay. A terrible value for the price and abysmal service. My lease cannot be over soon enough.

Had an unfortunate experience all around. Utilities were extremely expensive $94 for water last month. Staff was unprofessional and our apartment smelled like smoke the whole year.

I respectfully find staff in this community as all friendly, helpful, pleasant, polite, and responsive. I, thus, issue good, five-star remarks for them. I do, however, believe they should be more considerate with tenant lease renewals though. These such reasonable gestures of appreciation go a long way.
My roommate and dealt with a few too many headaches while living here. Management isn't upfront and rent is too high for the location and for what is offered.
Visited this facility with my wife in an effort to find short-term housing prior to purchasing a house. The apartment we were shown by Autumn reeked of smoke and mold. Absolutely disgusting! Autumn seemed lost during the showing, almost as if she was stumbling through her day. Definitely a low-class facility with low-class help. I would not recommend applying here as the management team are not honest, trustworthy people to deal with.
I can also attest to the slumminess of the complex and the staff are just lying gangster slum lords. Before you move in call the wheat ridge police department and ask about all the known drug activity in the complex. The management is so afraid of being sued because of some fair housing act baloney that they will allow obvious and continous drug traffic in the community and it occurs morning noon and night. If you like waking up to go to work leaving your personal possessions hopefully not to be robbed then move here. You will see by just hanging around for a bit strung out tweakers coming and going at all hours. Also theres tons of trash the management doesnt care or ever send maitnence for anything. The situation became so dangerous my girl friend and i had to break our lease because we just no longer felt safe any longer. The slum lord of a management company did nothing for us to help our situation and is now coming after us for breaking our lease. If your a drug dealer yourself id recommend moving here or if you just love being afraid for your safety this place is great!
I find this to be a pleasant place to live. The rent is very reasonable and my dog loves it here too! Very spacious apartments .The management is very accommodating. Chris in the office, does an amazing job with helping me with my needs! He is really efficient and on top of everything!
If i could give less than 1 star i would awful apartment staff and management team if you want to be discriminated against live here
This apartment is nice area... I love they accept pets and its not super expensive. The laundry room is horriable the washers and dryers don't work more Than half the time. It takes forever to get a hold of someone to get your money back. And they have lame hours to be able to do your laundry. I work late and real early mist the time so i dont have lots of time to do my laundry
