Thank you so much for the great Review! We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what you think. We are always working to make this a cleaner and happier place. If you ever need anything feel free to contact the Newport Crossing Leasing office.
This place needs to do an overhaul of the management. You call in they never answer the phone then when you do they are very very rude. You ask a question they say we are to busy right now. What great customer service. They talk down to you. I think the person name was Britney. I would suggest that the corporate office call and act like a customer and see how they get talked to. Britney should get a job at the local Gym and hand out the bath towels with her attitude. Stay away look at all the review they have they all say the same thing they treat you like a rug.

Easy access to really anywhere. Within walking distance of grocery, restaurants, and pet stores. They also allow pets! I wouldn't hesitate to point anyone in the direction of these apartments.

By far worst apartment management ever dealt with! Wish I didn't have to give them a star at all! It was absolutely disgusting when we moved in (didn't look like the place had ever been cleaned) after scrubbing the place down for 2 days finally felt like we could move in. Yet, when we moved out we left it spotless and in much better condition and were still charged a ridiculous "cleaning" fee that is just "standard." We were also charged our entire stay there over the summer for the pool, hottub, and fitness room which were all closed or not working 99% of the entire summer or our stay. We chose to move here because of these amenities, which were then never available. They really nickel and dime you wherever you can and try to scam you. I could go on and on about other instances but then this would become even more of a novel. In the last 5 months they have gone through at least 3 different managers which really tells you something... We always were given different information from different people in the office. Now that we are gone my husband has tried contacting them everyday this week to pay our final bill (all of which is the ridiculous expenses mentioned before). Each day he hasn't been able to get through to anyone and has left message after message and no one ever bothered to return his call. Finally he got through today and was trying to calmly express some of his concerns and frustrations so that we weren't taken advantage of, and the lady he spoke with literally started yelling at him on the phone. Basically these people do NOT care about their tenants/customers only their money. (But then make it impossible to get ahold of anyone to pay a bill.. Go figure) I could go on and on.. But I'm sick and tired of it.
I have never lived in an apartment complex in which management lacks so much integrity. Be forewarned before signing a lease here or at Karbon across the way. I have lived in both and they are run by the same owners who live in Ohio! This means nothing will get done for you, no inititive to their current residents what so ever! My first two weeks in and 5 of my sliding glass door blinds fell off, 3 months in and my kitchen drawer fell apart. The top rack of my dish washer is bent so it's a struggle to open fully. The toilet paper holder falls off the wall within a week of me fixing it (I've finally just stored the hardware and removed it completely). The peep hole to my door is shattered. The closet doors are to wide Leaving the middle section of your closet inaccessible. I called the office to ask if I could remove them and have them stored somewhere because the design is poor. They said I could remove them but they can't store them for me. So I have 4 doors just sitting against the wall in my room. Any time the wind is 10-15mph the power cuts out (sometimes for hours at a time) then when power is restored the lovely building fire alarm is triggered. It Usually takes fire department about 45min to get that shut off. I had to put duct tape over the alarm speakers because it's so painfully loud. This occurs about once every 3 months. I'm terrified how frequent it will be now that we are approaching the windy season. It's nearly impossible to speak with a manager, they pawn everything off on their staff, having no integrity on how their complex is managed. Not only are the units highly over priced for how poorly they are maintained, you also have they joy of paying ALL the extras! Common Area Maintance Fees are usually about 30$ a month(for now).Don't forget to close your windows before leaving, they have no regard for blowing all the debris right onto your patio and right into your storage unit, window seals as well. ive tried contacting management about this about 4 times now... I give up. Garbage/ water not included that bills runs about 120$ a month. It's divided between the units, not based on your actual cost. You can log into your rent pay website to view the cost difference of your actual usage. Overall I've never been more frustrated with an apt complex. There are so many available complexs in the area I highly recommend looking elsewhere.
I lived in these apartments for a little over a year and it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. We decided to move in because they didn't require a first and last months deposit because of my good credit and it fit within our budget. No deposit should have been a major red flag. The apartment itself was a newly "Remodeled" unit. They had just painted everything and replaced the carpet. That is what they see as remodeled. It looked fine when we did the initial walk through but it was the things we didn't catch that became a problem. There were several doors that were barely on their hinges that broke within the first month of moving in. Calls to maintenance fell on deaf ears. They would come out 3 or 4 weeks later and jimmy rig a fix that would last about 2 weeks before breaking again. After doing this 3 times you just give up and let them win. Our water heater broke in our apartment and flooded our closets and half our bathroom. Maintenance took their sweet time and didn't get out to clean it up until that night when it was found in the morning. This left a horrible mold smell in the apartment. So we had them come out again. They sprayed some Febreeze and said it smelled just fine... We called again and had them come out and they did a deep cleaning but the bedroom still smelled like mold. This went on for a month where we had to sleep in our living room because they couldn't effectively clean up the water leak. They came out 5 different times and it never went completely away. They then charged us a $100 cleaning fee when we moved out because of this. They had just repainted the cabinets but they painted the bottom of the cabinets. The paint would chip off and attach to plates and glasses and there was nothing you could do about it because they used cheap paint. Worst part was because it chipped off they charged us $80 at move out to repaint it. The pool was open for about 1 month in the summer. They would just pump it full of Chlorine and call that good. Because some kids were drinking and hanging out in the Hot tub they closed it for the winter and kept it cold so it was unusable. They still charged us for these amenities even though you couldn't use them. They just don't care about the tenants so when they came back with a lease renewal of a $300 increase it was the easiest decision ever to find somewhere else.
Good location to Bellevue and Renton, and easy access to I-90 for direct downtown Seattle access. Grocery stores, library, restaurants right next door, and more shopping just up the road in Factoria just minutes north. Downtown Bellevue is 10 minutes away and Downtown Seattle is about 20 minutes with no traffic (around 30-40 with medium to heavy traffic). The apartments themselves are quiet, next to quiet neighborhood and wooded area. Boren Lake Park is a few blocks away with many Summer events that take place there. Ammenties include swimming pool, gym, and covered parking. The landscaping is well kept and they allow dogs with deposit and a monthly fee. Rent is moderate but fair for how close it is to the freeways for direct access to Bellevue, Seattle, Renton, and Issaquah (I-405 and I-90) and back roads to all the eastside locations. My unit has all stainless steel appliances, dark wood cabinets and laminent flooring. Countertops are not stone but does match the the color scheme of the kitchen. Also nice size patio and fireplace. Management is nice and I've not any issues with them so far.
