Situated in western New York on the cusp of Lake Ontario, Rochester holds the title of the state’s third most populous city. Touting a distinct blend of history and innovation, Rochester is filled with historic buildings turned modern lofts and apartments. The University of Rochester as well as Rochester Institute of Technology both contain leading research programs, lending to the city’s educated workforce and prospering future. Prominent figures like Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass once called Rochester home.
Even though it’s a fairly large city, Rochester still holds a small-town vibe. Rochester offers several community events that are widely attended, including the Lilac Festival and the Rochester International Jazz Festival.
The Strong Museum, Memorial Art Gallery, and the George Eastman Museum all feature special exhibits that inspire curiosity. Scenic views await at Highland Park, and residents adore their day trips to the Seneca Park Zoo and Seabreeze Amusement Park.

Property Ratings at Newport Highlands
Management never gets back to u or ur calls. I never see management here n you cant get any help from them. The office is closed literally 24/7 (no one is allowed in) and the phone goes straight to voicemail every time u call n they force u to leave a voicemail. That’s not too much of an issue having to leave a voicemail the problem is ive had concerns n questions left via voicemail for 3 months now n they still havent responded to these concerns. I feel ignored n I don’t feel like a valued member of this community even though I pay my rent on time every month n im quiet. Never had this issue at any other apartment complex in my life.
My husband and I have lived here for 15 years. We love it here. Nice neighbors and quiet. The maintenance staff is here whenever we have a problem. When it snows the parking lot is cleaned right away. We have 2 bedrooms and a full basement, which is heated. You can also get a unit with a garage. Some units have a porch, which ours has. You can plant flowers to spruce up your place and most units look really nice. This complex has a nice presence and are attractive to any one driving by. Rent is reasonable.
I found this amazing apartment and fell in love. I was relocated for work and every place I looked at I compared to the Newport Highlands. When I finally got to looking here, I really fell in love! They had one open and I moved right in 2 days later! Everyone is so friendly and being on the smaller side o feel safe living alone. I love my apartment.
