Terrible Management, I lived with a leaky kitchen sink for nearly a month while they sent inept maintenance workers over to 'repair' again and again. One of them left the hose to the dishwasher unhooked after an attempted repair and I ran the dishwasher and it flooded the entire kitchen. There was visible mold growing in the affected area for weeks before they did finally sent a remediation crew and a real repair team to deal with it. We were without the use of the kitchen for a week while it dried out and repairs were made. The new management that took over was just as unresponsive to issues we had at the residence. Aside from all of that, and more importantly to me because I have small children, were the neighbors. And not just noise issues--we had neighbors below us openly partying and waving guns around underneath our apartment with the blinds open for all to see, and management informed us there was nothing they could do about it. I believe they were eventually evicted for other reasons. Several cars were broken into while we lived there, and my car was personally gone through and a door left open by whoever did it (I had nothing to steal in it, but a neighbor lost stereo equipment etc. during the same break-in). Unsafe, unresponsive management. Two enthusiastic thumbs down.
I moved in Ridgecrest in July 2017 and instantly felt I was making a mistake. The apartments you see are not the apartments you get, the only thing updated in this apartment is the pool, the panneling outside the apartments, and the microwave. Everything else is outdated. The apartments being pet friendly may be nice, but the amount of dog hair and dirt I have attempted to scrub out would make someone sick. They also fail to mention the ridiculous amount of little fees that seem to pop up every month as well. If you are looking for a clean, reliable apartment complex this is not the one.
My family and I have had nothing, but bad luck since moving in March of 2017. Our home has flooded twice and all they could say was they will get the carpet cleaned and put blowers under the carpet to dry it out. This place looks really nice on the outside, but is not like you think it is. Please don't be fooled by the scenery on the outside. Don't get me wrong now maintenance and the property manager are warm and welcome, but the customer service representative name Charisse is very unprofessional. They go up on your rent and expect you to pay it and if not they will evict you. They have roach and spider problems. This place is not safe and I have photos to back it up. We still have a crack in our bedroom ceiling and mold below the side creases of our tub. My spouse and kids have asthma. Our water heater has burned out since being here and we had to call the firefighter about this. This property need to be shut down. There are other neighbors complaining about the same thing. I seen the reviews on the website beforehand, but didn't think anything about it.
Ridgecrest Apartments in and of themselves are o.k.; however, if you have school aged children, it's not a fun neighborhood. The community tends to cater toward the young, corporate/professionals or college crowds.
For apartments they are quiet and clean. The staff are very helpful. The pool is not the best but they always hae fun activities for the kids. Good price & good people.
