Awful. Been here since 2018 in two different units because the first became uninhabitable and they didn’t fix the root issue but instead gaslit me for years. Name an issue, and we’ve had it: plumbing disasters that flood waste from other units into the apartment, broken HVAC that goes unfixed all lease, leaky windows (I’m talking puddles when it rains or snows) and subsequent mold, can’t keep a property manager, high staff turnover, unresponsive, rude, electrical outages that are not the fault of Pepco (but they blame Pepco then leave and padlock the office doors), fire alarms going off in the middle of the night, staff who leave the company and advise us to “run,” packages stolen despite making us pay for a system, dishonest fees… I could go on. Most recently they’ve entered my unit twice in the past two days without permission or informing. And I came home again today to another power outage. Moving next month and it cannot come soon enough. I went through the Consumer Protection Division of the Maryland State Attorney General all year and this company was also unresponsive to their attempts to communicate. Literally sent me lawyers to contact. Also this company has sold my information to other companies because I have been getting spammed with third party emails/texts for services I do not want. They’re most recently trying to get me to contract with another company to pay for a move-out deep clean when no deep clean is required. Run, don’t walk.

When you move in, get ready to have your belongings moved through the loading dock, which is also the garbage dump. Luxury apartment prices for non-luxury building. Parking is a nightmare and is shared with retail/LA fitness customers. There is no management. Or concierge. Requests are fielded by the leasing office, people who have the worst attitude of anyone I have ever met. They seemed nice but once I signed my lease they were cold and distant. Also, packages got stolen all the time, response from the leasing office was that I should get a PO box LOL There is no security guard and I feel unsafe in the building. I’ve seen homeless guys sleeping on my floor several times now.

Horrible management - don't care and don't know answers to basic questions. Maintenance: took 5 months to fix a washer had to use a vacant unit to wash my clothes, 5 requests to get a sample of paint - still no success. Nasty common area carpets for months and smell of trash. Property management response " it's hard to get an approval to wash the carpets". What a joke, stay away if you can!

I visited NoBe with my girlfriend in June 2023. We decided to move elsewhere but had put down the $250 deposit/application fee which we were told would be promptly returned if we decided not to take the apartment. Well, as I'm reading these reviews I realize we never got our deposit. They had asked in June for our mailing address and we provided our new one (so no issues with mail forwarding) and now it's been 2 months when they say up to 45 days. We've called, emailed several times for updates and I even went in there in person to talk to a "manager". Everyone gave me the run around and acted dumb ("we're looking into it", "we cannot locate the check", ect). As someone who runs a business, it's obvious to me when one is playing dirty. I will likely end up getting my application deposit returned eventually, but I fear it's going to take a letter from a lawyer to do so. The apartment wasn't bad, but be VERY aware doing business with folks who behave like this!

I must warn anyone considering moving into this apartment complex about a significant and pervasive issue I've faced while living here: secondhand smoke infiltrating my unit from neighboring apartments, despite the building being listed as "no smoking allowed" in the Maryland State Housing. This problem has not only severely impacted my quality of life and comfort, but it has also raised legitimate health concerns for myself and other non-smoking residents. I've been assertive and persistent in communicating the seriousness of this issue to the management, expecting them to enforce the no-smoking policy and take appropriate action to resolve the matter. However, their response has been entirely unsatisfactory, showing a complete disregard for the well-being of their tenants and the rules set forth by Maryland State Housing. The management's apathy and uncooperative attitude have only exacerbated the situation. It's essential for potential tenants to be aware of this ongoing problem before committing to live in this apartment complex. The combination of constant exposure to secondhand smoke despite the no-smoking policy and the management's failure to enforce the rule and address the issue makes living here an absolute nightmare. Please think twice before moving into this apartment complex. The health risks, violation of the no-smoking policy, and the management's lack of concern and unwillingness to take action make it a place you should avoid at all costs.

I would not recommend this building to anyone. We have had mold issues in our apartment that have affected our furniture and multiple maintenance requests have gone unanswered for over three months. The management has not been responsive to our concerns and the living conditions have become unacceptable.

Apartments are beat up, management is rude, cheap appliances, carpet, paint, blinds. Nothing "luxury" about it. Apartment smells like sewage. Overpriced rent, parking and utilities.

The space is nice & in a great location. In theory, this community should rank 4.5 stars out of 5, but unfortunately theyre currently running at like 2.5-3. We have had several issues with the package lockers being down and we were left unable to retrieve packages for days with little help from management. Issues around the complex seem to get solved relatively slow, for example, the buttons in one of the elevators was dysfunctional & then missing for weeks. Our apartment has a shotty paint job with painters tape being left up and even painted over and when we moved in, major areas (bathrooms & kitchen) werent cleaned at all. The manager promised us a free housekeeping once we were completely settled but we never heard back from him. Overall, the place has potential, if only management would listen to resident feedback.

My wife and I were interested in the apartments because we liked the area. When we arrived, the concierge was extremely rude. Said they can only show us around if we had an appointment, that we could not make an appointment with her, and that she'd pass along our information to the leasing office, which will get back to us about scheduling an appointment. Two weeks went by and no one called. I then went online to schedule an appointment, and submit a request for a tour. Not a single call back or follow-up from my online request. If they are like this for potential residents, I can only imagine the lack of response and rudeness towards actual residents. Blessing in disguise. Stay away!

They charge you a ridiculous amenity fee on top of rent but they do not deliver when it comes to it. The pool has been closed all summer and the wifi in the gym does not work. The management does nothing to address the issue or compensate the tenants for the fee that they are charging but not providing the service. If you are planning to move here be prepared to pay for things that youay never get to use.

Now I would like to place a disclaimer that we moved in and not everything was as perfect as someone would think given this 5 star review. Our move might of been the worst move-in I've ever had. When you sign up for parking online, in the search box you have to type in Nobe, not just the zip code like it asks for. No one tells you this. You'll be on the phone with rep for a while before they figure this out. When you sign up for cable DO NOT USE Comcast. In case you did, know that they need you to be in the apartment as well as you electronics for them to do any kind of service. You need to make an appointment with them or it could be a couple of weeks for them to set you up. I had an appointment with them at 2pm, and since it was raining it took me until about 2:30 to get to the community. I got lost in the garage not knowing which building or where to park. All while the rep was calling me saying he's going to leave and I won't get internet until a week later!! All the office had to do was explain to us that our parking was on P3, next to LA fitness entrance. The Elevator to the building is also not that easy to spot in the garage level. So the movers finally arrived to drop off our stuff and guess what??? since it was raining, the loading dock was flooded with water so the movers had a difficult time moving. They ended up charging us $1500 for moving cost. Please be caution and not move on a raining day. The office told us after that this was a design flaw and happens when it rains hard. Our apartment was also not completely cleaned when we arrived. PLEASE READ: while we had a ton of issues with our move in, why I had to give NBM a five star is because of their willingness to help you when issues arise. The customer service doesn't get any better than with Bozzuto and NBM. With all the issues we face, we brought it up to the attention of Jessica and Lauren. They were quick to respond and assisted us with what they could, all while staying so nice and positive. They sent up cleaners right away and assisted us with some of the cost due to the loading dock being flooded. We know that this is something they didn't have to do, but, they did it in order to make our experience better. Anywhere you live, you will always have issues, what should be your deciding factor in choosing a home is a management team that will always assist you when you need it! Been here for 5 months and love it! Apartment is beautiful and we're happy it's our home.

Our apartment search began a few months before my husband and I got married. Just getting and idea of what was out on the market and the prices. We came across our current apartment by searching the area online using apartments.com and decided to give a look in person. The leasing office is extremely helpful and not aggressive at all. Very welling to tell you how renting works and how the cost of rent can change if leasing for longer or short periods of time. The concierge here are all very nice and learn your name and or apartment number when it comes to packages. The neighborhood is quiet, the building is extremely diverse and in walking distance to SOOO much stuff! The building is always hosting something new so that people in the building can meet each other, so that is always fun. Metro is a 5-7 walk and bus stops are everywhere. The amenities are the same as other apartments in the area but seemingly a bit cheaper in cost. Plenty of parking for guest on the street, so they don't have to pay for the garage. We have a great very of the courtyard, pool and out towards Silver Spring and beyond. The apartments are clean and the maintenance are very quick to respond to request. Overall, this apartment is great!

My husband and I are in our early 50s and empty nesters. After year of owning a large family house with a horrible commute location for my husband, we decided to downsize. We really wanted the freedom and amenities a condo community had to offer, but after research and thought, we decided to rent first to decide if the smaller space lifestyle was really what we could deal with. We checked with our accountant, and found out the tax implications would be minimal, mostly since I was transitioning to starting a home-based business. We wanted a community that provided exceptional amenities with walking access to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and outdoor space within an easy commute for my husband. We also wanted a very different “feel” from our suburban house – modern, high-rise and incredible views. As soon as we toured North Bethesda Market and stepped into the model in the tower section, we knew it was our new home. My husband’s immediate, “WOW”, when we saw the views sealed the deal. We moved in almost nine months ago, and we are truly happier than ever in our marriage. We no longer have the time and money constraints of caring for a house. We love that a fantastic gym, pharmacy, grocery store and numerous restaurants are an elevator and short walk away. The pool feels like you’re at a hotel, and we love the access to a pretty walk along a nearby trail. Most importantly, my husband’s commute is cut by more than half, and our apartment is spacious enough so that when I work for home I do not feel confined. The only negatives we have had with the complex is the need for cosmetic upgrades to common area painting, floor coverings, ventilation smells, and garage upkeep. Reports of these issues to building management have been made and acknowledged, but complete fixes are still pending. For anyone considering downsizing from house to condo/coop apartment-style living, I would strongly suggest trying renting first. You really need to try out if living in a smaller, shared-building lifestyle works for you and your partner before investing. You may even find that renting works best for pre-retirement and retirement years.

The North Bethesda Market building is fantastic! Nice spacious units, only a few years old with nice granite countertops and wall to wall carpet. The location is just under a half mile from the white flint metro, perfect access on the red line into dc. Bethesda, Adams Morgan, Dupont circle just a short ride away on the metro. The building is part of a nice little shopping and dining community with Brio, Seasons 52, whole foods, LA fitness, and more. What you can't get in walking distance, can be found a quick drive away. Plenty of dining and shopping within a few miles. There are some nice amenities, 2 pools, a few rec rooms, a gym, and an outdoor courtyard. They are clean and well kept. Overall it is a great place to live and I would recommend to anyone looking to move to the area.

I moved here 3 years ago (my first place). Despite the initial jitters of independent living, NOBE quickly became my home. The staff have been so accommodating and always willing to help make the community more accessible for their residents. The building is well-maintained, within walking distance of Metro, and the staff go the extra mile to make the property feel more like a neighborhood of friends. Highly Recommended!
