Adjacent to the city of Lansing, Michigan’s capital city, East Lansing is a vibrant college town where diversity and education is treasured. But this city isn’t just for college students and faculty! With sports stadiums, live entertainment venues, museums, local restaurants, and family-friendly neighborhoods, what’s not to like?
The city’s greatest attraction is Michigan State University, and not just for its beautiful campus, but for its big-time attractions like Spartan Stadium, the MSU Museum, and the Wharton Center for Performing Arts. And to top it off education-wise, East Lansing is home to East Lansing Public Schools, which are notoriously high-ranking. Locals appreciate the abundance of parks, including John M. Patriarch Park, a beautiful green space boasting athletic fields and a large playground.
Venture into nearby Lansing for local treasures like the Potter Park Zoo, the Michigan State Capitol, and the beautiful views of Grand River.

Property Ratings at NOCA Lofts
I have lived here for two years, and the heating system is a nightmare. Whenever it’s cold and windy, the heater blows cold air instead of warm, and it’s not just our apartment—it’s the entire building. Last year, during the coldest week of winter, we were left without any heat for a whole week and had to stay at a friend's house. Despite repeated complaints, management hasn’t fixed the issue, even though they promised to resolve it. We made the mistake of renewing our lease for another year, but nothing has changed. Trust me, you can ask anyone living here—they’ll tell you the same. You’ll face endless problems with the heating for at least three months every year. The management is terrible at addressing this issue. Avoid this place at all costs!
The management is terrible and the problem is that the person has no upper hand and does whatever she wants! Don't be surprised if one day they tell you that you have to pay 500 dollars more! Nothing is okay here! Leasing management is really irresponsible! They dont answer to to any body's mail! Dont hesitate to choose somewhere else to move in! I remember that I read many awful comments about them but I didnt trust them! And know I should just blame my self..dont be like me! Escape from being here!
The most terrible and rudest management team!!! Keep away
RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! The management is absolutely horrible and they do not do ANYTHING in favor for or to accommodate residents. I ignored the negative reviews and am paying the price for it. The first red flag was when I inquired about living here (living outside of East Lansing at the time) and the manager said they were only open for tours Mon-Fri 9-5am... during work hours. Even after explaining that many people work these hours and they are not accommodating for the majority of work schedules, they refused to make any exceptions. They told me to look at the video that was posted online and that was it. I had a bad feeling after that, but I still decided to sign a lease. I inquired about the apartment when they offered a free gym membership to Anytime Fitness (they don't have a gym in the apartments which really makes these overpriced). When I moved in, I asked when my membership should start and they said that I was ineligible because I signed July 2... not once did the manager tell me that it was only a June promotion! Not once! Or else I would have signed two days earlier! Ive been emailing the manager (Gabby) and her boss (Lindsay?) and they just stopped replying. I have rented at so many places before and this is by far the WORST management experience I've ever had. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
This place is nice! It’s quiet for the most part, and very dog friendly. The walls are VERY thin. I can hear a conversation from the apartment next to me from my bedroom! There also aren’t as many amenities as listed; no workout facility, dog park, game room, or business center.
The apartment is nice and the lay out is very spacious. I have had no problems with this apartment and it's been great except for one HUGE problem. I live in a unit on the top floor of building one (with the leasing office) and there is an intake/exhaust for the heating/AC right above my bedroom. If anyone within a few units of me runs their heat or AC, there is a constant and pretty loud buzzing/humming and shaking noise that periodically gets better and then worse again. Since the winter has been approaching and more people are having their heat on constantly, I wake up all the time in the night and have trouble sleeping. So, until they fix this issue (which I doubt they will), just make sure to NOT get a unit on the third floor or you'll be sleep deprived all the time.
Hey I moved in last Saturday and I had the best experience! This place is sooo nice and spacious! My apartment is on the second floor! We have a really nice balcony with a big patio! Live here! This is really nice!
