Noho Flats

This complex only cares about their new building. They have advised residents not to park in the parking lot they have paid for and will then tow you if you park there. Received a $250 ticket after workers on site told me not to park in my designated area. There are regularly nails and construction materials in the parking lot and construction workers make no effort to clean them up. There are regularly massive semi trucks and fork lifts entering and exiting the parking lot and blocking the road for up to 20 minutes at a time. You will never have a clean car here as the entire lot is covered with dust or cement. I would not live at this place again if rent was cut in half

I am going to start off with a warning: DO NOT MOVE HERE. I can give one star for prompt maintenance and for the location, but I am going to tell you why one star is all they deserve and may even be a little excessive. It is unsafe to live here. The alluring promise of a gated community is a sham. There are gates. Our parking lot gate has been open virtually my entire time I lived there and continues to remain wide open. Cars have been vandalized. The gates to the building do not even work, so why use our expensive key fobs right? You can just yank open the building gate door and you’re in. The dishonesty from management. I was promised no fees for my application since I was a student. The manager (Luis who is no longer there) promised this with a smile while giving a tour. Sure, that made him look good. Next thing I know, I am paying the fee. He lied. On move-out, management issued an invoice that details an expensive inspection fee and fees for cleaning. One of my co-tenants overpaid and instead of getting a refund, the management company takes the money. We asked for the money that was left over. The management then tells us there were “damages” which were not listed on our invoice. We are talking about hundreds of dollars here. I have talked to numerous residents and they will tell you at the very least they never get their security deposit back upon move-out and are asked to pay exorbitant fees to clean/inspect their apartment at a minimum. As for amenities, we got an email stating they’d close the pool for 150 days in the Summer. And the fitness room. Why? Because this management company doesn’t care about its current residents. After a lot of pushback, they finally agreed to close these spaces for a smaller period of time (but still for long enough to where you’d be scratching your head wondering which gym membership you should choose), and put up large barricades around where construction was happening. Moreover, because they have been constructing a new building, virtually everyone wakes up to an excavator and a crane at 7 am every morning. Finally, the packages. Want to receive a package? Good luck finding it. You will be there all day sifting through piles and piles of disorganized and haphazardly placed packages. And when your package doesn’t make it to the mailroom, delivery people will sometimes leave it outside of the building for someone to steal.

Noho Flats has been the single worst living experience that I’ve ever had. This is mainly due to STYL which is the management company. They are unresponsive and have regularly closed many amenities around the building without giving appropriate notice or communicating to residents clear timelines. The package room is disorganized making it difficult to locate your packages. This building has zero safety as anyone can open doors around the facility or walk right in as the parking gates have been left open for months due to construction. Cars have been vandalized. The sounds of construction are present the majority of workday. This wakes residents up early and causes distractions for those of us who work from home. There is trash left around the facility and cockroaches are very present throughout the buildings. The move out process was very frustrating as we were charged an excessive amount in fees. When we questioned STYL about them we were given incomplete information that did not appear to be fully consistent with what was originally provided.

One of the best and safest places near University of Tampa. Every week they have a different get togerher. The decor of the place is absolutely stunning. Must see. Pool is beautiful. The fitness center The game room Even has a barista for amazing coffee and teas. Daughter loves it here

I have been at NoHo Flats for a little over 5 years now and I do like the community and how much the area around us has grown. I am happy with the leasing staff and maintenance team. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Not a quiet place to live. Not good for work from home people. Office staff is friendly though.

Noho is a great place to live. It's very convenient to both North and South Tampa. Very close to I4 and the Selmon which makes for easier commutes. The amenities are great and perfect for what I need. The pool is small and quaint with cabanas. The gym is updated and has plenty of equipment and isn't very crowded. Two dog parks and very pet friendly. I don't have any issues with parking and usually find a spot right in front of my place. Great place to live.

NoHo flats has been the best part about moving to Tampa. Natalie from the leasing office is the absolute best! She was organized and quick to respond to any questions we had. So thankful to be apart of such a clean and safe community!

The staff is super friendly and proactive. They made my moving experience much easier than I expected.

NoHo Flats is a gem located in S. Tampa. The community is close to downtown, and only minutes away from shopping, entertainment, and the airport. Noho has a well kept complex grounds with top of the line amenities as well as an excellent maintenance and front office staff. The community is also incredibly pet friendly with several dog parks. Noho should be your first choice when looking for an apartment in the South Tampa area.

Not good for work from home residents. Too noisy. Always something going on. The trash service is an inconvenience. The gates are constantly an issue. Other than that maintenance is always good and amenities are nice.

If you are looking for a clean place to live that is quiet and close to lots of things to do, this is the place to be.

Overall great experience living in Noho Flats - I'm resigning again this year because its such a great place/community to live in.

This has been the best apartment experience of my life! Other properties have been dirty, not attentive, and dissappointing. NoHo has been in our experience the opposite. I am glad to call here home and love the wonderful amenities they provide! You cannot beat the location and close proximity to so many restaurants, stores, and downtown without dealing with the traffic!

Noho flats is a great place to live. It is a safe complex, located at a great area. The administrative staff is excellent, always willing to help, and the maintenance team solves the requests within a day!!!

Noho Flats is a very nice place to live. It is located in a great and safe area. Neighbors and the staff are very nice! There are many social activities organized by Noho to make their residents to feel appreciated. Living at Noho Flats makes life easier!

NoHo Flats has been an incredible community to live in, from the leasing staff to the maintenance team! Next month makes 3 years living here, and it's been amazing to see the North Hyde Park landscape change. I'm looking forward to seeing how much more the neighborhood will change. My only "complaint" is that I wish the appliances were updated, but everything else I'm more than satisfied with.

The staff here has been extremely responsive and courteous. Very different from my last experience and it certainly has made me feel more than welcome. Thank you.

NoHo flats is a safe, well managed apartment complex with great amenities. Perfect location--in between downtown and Howard street--that is a step up from the college apartment scene.

Well maintained complex and they really try to create a community through events (and went above and beyond to keep those up virtually throughout the pandemic).

NoHo has gone above and beyond to serve and provide for us! We truly love living here and recommend to our friends on a REGULAR basis.

For demographic purposes, I am in my early thirties and am a physician. The nighttime noise and “crowd control” problems at NoHo Flats make this place unlivable. This is not the place for anyone who isn’t in college and/or has “real job” responsibilities. Rather, it is more suited for those currently in their early 20s or interested in reliving their fraternity days. I have lived here since late June 2020. I signed a lease sight unseen/untoured because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was assured by the leasing office that noise was never an issue, but that is not true. I routinely call the Courtesy Officer to address noise/party issues (anywhere from 1-3x per week). As polite as they are, it usually takes 30-45 minutes to shut down whatever is happening. I have spoken with the leasing office via email and phone many times, but, as nice as they are, they seem to have little to no control regarding what happens here. The rules that are in place are not enforced, and the only solution that has been offered is for me to move into a different unit/building. Unfortunately, that is not a feasible option -- on the basis of both time and principle. I have never written a review of anything before; however, if I can prevent one person from making the same mistake I did, perhaps the past 10 months will have a silver lining. Besides the constant noise issues, hallways are frequently littered with trash and pet waste. Empty White Claw cans and the smell of marijuana are major components of the overall aesthetic. Will you die here? Probably not. The location is relatively safe. The gym is actually very nice for an apartment gym. Will you be sleep deprived and have a visceral reaction anytime you see someone pull out a Bluetooth speaker for the rest of your life? Definitely yes. There are better places in South Tampa to live for similar rent rates. (Special shoutout to any medical residents or medical students: While it is incredibly close to Tampa General Hospital, do not live here. You will be extra miserable and tired.) TLDR: Don’t be swayed by the attractive photos. As someone who puts a lot of stock into online reviews before making most decisions, it’s amazing that the reviews for NoHo Flats aren’t more representative of what actually happens here. This is an apartment complex for young college kids wanting to party.

The staff makes the difference here. of course the place is nice and you can find similar nice places, but they are genuinely concerned that you enjoy your living experience with Noho. The location is great too and the neighborhood evolving positively.

I have lived her for 5 years now, and I love this community! The front office staff is always so friendly, the environment is beautiful, and I love the location and all the amenities. There is lots of good energy here. Thank you.

We LOVE living at NoHo Flats! Things are always well kept, and the maintenance staff are all hard workers and leasing staff so kind and helpful.

NoHo Flats is a great apartment community. The property management team is friendly, welcoming, and overall great. The online portal and the sense of community where resident can connect is leveraged well and offers opportunities for resident-engagement. And of course, the maintenance staff is quick, efficient, and friendly. Any time I've had an issue, it's been taken care of pretty quickly. I'm more than satisfied with my living situation and renewed my lease for the 2021 year!

We are grateful to be blessed with this amazing staff that takes care of our maintenance needs efficiently. The entire staff continue to genuinely express care to ensure our satisfaction! Noho Flats is a wonderful place to live! Besides all the great amenities, the staff is super nice, the grounds are always kept clean, and Noho provides plenty of fun and exciting events to meet your neighbors. Highly recommend!

Very good customer service

While I didn't live here, my boyfriend did and i visited a lot i love this place, it's well lit, quiet despite the fact that so many young people live here and it's just all around great. Everything is nice and updated.

This community has exceeded our expectations for apartment living! The staff is kind and clean and quick. And the apartments are just beautiful!!

I do not have a positive review to leave at this time. I have had extreme pest issues since December 2019. It has been brutal communicating with the front office. I have had to follow up constantly.

NoHo Flats has by far the best staff/team, which makes living here so great! The staff has continual patience with any issue and handles everything with urgency. The pool is great to lay out at, the people in the community are awesome, and the apartments are spacious. For it being such a dog friendly environment I never hear barking while inside my apartment. Im also on the second floor and there has been zero noises from above. I moved down here from Michigan and picking an apartment was a huge decision, but NoHo flats staff and community surely made my decision easy.

Great community, clean, safe, modern apartments with all must features, nice pool, fantastic location. Only thing is parking can get completely full at night in building 4 resident lot but did always find parking at the other resident lot across the street. Overall, 8.8/10 and great place to live!

NoHo has a welcoming staff and courteous maintenance team. You feel like you are part of a small community rather than just a number here. Pet friendliness is a key feature I personally enjoy.
