Property Ratings at NoRi
They do upgrades every year. Their rent is great since rent includes washer/dryer in every apartment. Pretty updated as well.

Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that you appreciate our commitment to regular upgrades and that you find our rent to be of great value. We take pride in keeping our facilities updated and ensuring our residents have modern amenities to enhance their living experience. We look forward to continuing to exceed your expectations in the future! Thanks again!
When moving in there is a $400 security deposit. There is a $300 non refundable pet fee plus $100 pet fee for an additional pet. On top of that pet rent is $25 per month plus $15 per month for an additional pet. When you move out they will automatically charge you $295 to clean the carpets regardless of the condition they are in. This is in the pet addendum in the 74 page lease. It is not listed in the lease how much they charge you, but this is how much they charged me. In the addendum it lists that this is to de-flea, deodorize and shampoo to protect future residents from possible health hazards. While I agree with the fact that they do this, I disagree with the fact that they charged me on top of that $400 when moving in for just having the pet. When I asked them why this $295 charge is not included in the $400 pet fee when moving in, all that they stated is that this is non refundable. They still have yet to answer my question of what this $400 fee is used for.

I lived in the briar hill apartments but I moved to the nori apartments due to the roach situation not being solved. I then moved to these apartments and immediately when I moved in I am having all type of issues. First they never cleaned the apartment prior to me moving in. When I moved in the carpet was super wet days later it smelled like wet dog. Neighbors starting smoking weed almost everyday. The office told the tenants that I was the one complaining about the smoking so they came knocking on my door. The manager told them to come talk to me I don't know for what reason when there is nothing to talk about. She continues to lie and pretend as if she cares to fix the problem. I don't feel safe and unfortunately I still have 10 months for my lease to end.. if I was able to I would move out right this moment. Apartments are becoming super expensive, currently looking for a house but it's sad that apartment complexes do not appreciate good tenants and the bad ones get away with things. Think twice before moving here

I have lived here going on two months now. I am very impressed with the quality of my apartment and the area. Management is very helpful and pleasant to talk to. The only thing I would say that needs improvement is the trash that is left in the hallways by tenants. Overall very happy that I chose NoRI.

Overall, I have enjoyed our time at the Nori apartments. It's a very quiet and safe community. They have a really quick turnaround time on maintenance requests. The only thing, I would say they could do better is snow removal. I wish they would clean between the cars better.

We have lived in the Nori for over a year now. When we have issues they are normally handled in a professional and quick manner. Whether it involves the office Managers or the Maintenance workers. I truly feel that any time you live in a building with multiple families issues can arise but it has been a good place to live! I can say that it is about the same distance when getting to places such as Zona Rosa, the lake, or even downtown which has been great! So if you are looking for a reasonable priced place to live, give Nori a try!

Heres a more current review for you (at least for the moment!) Management is wonderful. Very sweet and always on top of things. When we first came into the apartment, we had an issue with the toilet and door (the toilet squealed, the door had visible cracks from the settling foundation) and both were resolved same-day. Maintenance man is fantastic and they keep the landscaping taken care of. The neighbors across from us were very rude who seemed to break every rule despite multiple newsletters on the door, and they were quickly taken care of. Management doesn't tolerate people smoking inside the walkareas (for obvious, fire-related reasons), but are fine if you stand outside the building to smoke. The apartments themselves are perfect for a couple just starting out like we were. Fantastic value, with the washer/drier in-unit. No worrying about leaving your clothes in a completely different area. A/C works fantastic, Heat works fantastic. Bills are reasonable. Windows open on a screen side and a completely open side. Light switch by the door turns off the outlet on the same wall. Since they are older buildings, the doors might have settled to allow cracks but management is on top of it if you say something. I'm on the 3rd floor and I've never had any issue with leaking. You can't hear neighbors (unless they are extremely loud) and they can't hear you. Everyone keeps to themselves; no drama that I've seen. Only sound issue is the hall - it amplifies EVERYTHING so if you're sleeping in the living room and a group of partiers return, good luck. It sounds like they're in your ear. Appliances work perfectly. Shower creaks and croaks sometimes, but its an older building and i'm on the top floor so what else do you expect? Pool is small and nothing fancy. Their gym is better - 20 bucks (or so) and you get a key so you can enter the clubhouse anytime, 24/7. If you dont get the key, its open during business hours listed. All in all (I tried to be thorough; i know its hard finding a good apartment you like) I recommend this apartment complex. I love it to pieces and don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

Nothing but troubles here. Even 4 months after moving out I am still dealing with this horrible apartment nonsense. Where do I start?? I had to call so many times during my first month of move in to have the air conditioner fixed, that I ended up hiring someone myself to have it resolved since I could not live in a 90 degree apartment. Finally after that, the air conditioner was fixed. Secondly, I lived on the 3rd floor (top level) and I could not count how many times the ceiling started to leak after a slight rain that I ended up buying tarps to put over my furniture because they would not resolve the issue. They said they re-roofed the entire building, but even the month of move-out (April 2016) the ceiling in the bathroom was still leaking. Now, happily in my new apartment with a great property manager, I get a call saying I have a bill in collections from this apartment??? I never once received a letter or a call stating that I owed anything until I get a call from Elite Financial stating I have an overdue amount that needs to payed immediately. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!

Hello, my name is Tyler with Monarch Investment. I am sorry that your experience at our property has been unsatisfactory. I would like to look into any concerns that you have about your home. Please email me at tcrockett@monarchinvestment.com, or you can reach out to our on-site staff.
Good starter place for Newlyweds or dating. Still upgrading. Small kitchen if you cook a lot. In unit washer/ dryer. (Which are spacious but not enough for huge comforters.) Has Google Fiber pre-installed. Stairwells are well lit at night. Nice fitness center. Pool is a bit small. Management is still in flux. Mailboxes are by Office and they leak. Monthly pest control as a precaution. Stainless steel electric appliances; all brand new. Little to no highway noise. Some have great views. Very little noise from neighbors so decent walls, floors, and ceilings. Living room has natural lighting. Dining room makes a great walk in pantry.

My boyfriend and I moved into our apartment in May of 2015. The staff are very helpful and all of the apartments are very clean and very nice. While maintenance can be slow at times, they are almost always there to fix problems same day and go above and beyond to help. The grounds are well maintained and all of the neighbors seem very friendly. If you ever have a misunderstanding of either fees or just policy you can come into the office and discuss it there with the staff who are more than willing to help you with anything. Utilities run about $20 for gas, $40 to $70 for water, sewage, trash, and water heating, and about $100 for electricity for a 2 bedroom. The only problem we have had so far is that the pool and fitness center aren't done in quite the time span that was advertised. However, the fitness center should be done within the next few weeks.
