Normandy Apartments

Wow! I remember starting my first semester at Normandy. My older sister had been living there and introduced me to it when we became roommates. She had already lived at Normandy for 5 semesters then. She told me she always met nice people and made great friendships with her roommates. The ward was always great and truly made an effort to reach out to the members. The Bishopric was mindful and loving. They truly cared about all of us YSA's. I say the 4 person apartments are always better than the 2 persons. I've had both and have witnessed other friends who have had both. Those with the 2 some can get pretty lonely when one roommate is always gone for work or classes. The 4 some usually at least has one person home when you come home from classes. I wish Normandy had more than just two 4 person apartments. Then again, if you already know you'll get along with your one roommate in the 2 person apartment, and you're not bothered to relax in silence, then you shouldn't have anything to worry about. The cleaning check meetings are pretty good too. We even get pizza after! Normandy is wonderful!! I highly recommend it! :) -Mary R
