Property Ratings at Normandy Towers Apartments
I would discourage everyone from moving there they are very greedy and terrible management people. They tow you guest cars and don’t even use the proper tow truck so they damage the cars. Maintenance takes for ever. They don’t provide parking for everyone and they will tow your car and damage it. They don’t have flat beds.
parking is a serious problem right now. there is no clear explanation of the problem. apartment does not provide parking for a lot of people for last two months and it seems that it will continue for long time. there is a construction on closed parking and the parking area over that. only 60 percent or 50 percent of parking lot is availablr and it is not easy to get a reserved lot. people have to park outside the apartment which is a big issue. it doesn't seem that it will be ready before winter or in the near future .. near lake , winter is too windy and cold. so you must consider not having parking in the payment during winter if you are planning to move...
I would highly discourage anyone who is considering to move here to reconsider. This place is EXTREMELY greedy. They tow your guests cars after 8. The guest parking they do have for over nighters have to pay and it’s no where near the actual apartment buildings. Now they have construction going on in the parking lot so they have forced people to PAY for reserved spaces because spaces are limited. So now people who are already paying rent have to also pay for parking. People who park in reserved spaces will be towed. I parked on a side street and had to walk to the building in a storm at 10pm. People have kids and are forced to park on a side street. This is absolutely disgusting and I cannot wait to break my lease. Not to mention when they tow cars in the middle of the night, it’s extremely loud and it wakes you up if you are by the window.
awesome place to live with a friendly staff and a responsive maintenance team
Was promised a screen for my window 2½ months ago,no screen. Maintenance left a mess of paint on my floor and is supposed to clean it up. 2 weeks have went by,no maintenance. No water pressure on the weekends and barely on the weekday so if you want a refreshing shower, hope for the best. Have to run my bath water for a minute because it doesn't run clear when it first comes out AND I had pieces of metal come out of the spout.Parking : get here around 7am or b4 7pm if you want free parking or hope for the best OR pay $50 /month FOR THE REST OF YOUR LEASE for the garage.I've had a spider in my apartment every week since I've been here and not small ones. It's supposed to be pet free but I've seen at least 4 dogs and they don't look like service animals. I've had to call management almost every week about something. I definitely won't be renewing my lease.
My apartment is a good location because it's not to far from my jobs and it has a lot of businesses to meet my needs. I like that I have my own parking spot.
My apartment is somewhat small but just enough room for me very nice neighbors i enjoy my where i live majority of everyone is friendly and its very mixed with alot of different nationalities
