Property Ratings at The Glen Apartments
I have lived here for about a year now. I love the office manager, Rachel. She is always on the ball and very kind. I am not fond of the other office staff as they can be off putting at times. I know they probably deal with more crap than I could handle but I feel like Rachel is the only one who values the residents. I have had a few maintenance issues living here which is to be expected in such an old place. Each and every maintenance issue is resolved within 24 hours or reporting it. What the office staff lacks the maintenance staff provides. They are polite, respectful, considerate, and consistent. They always fix things promptly and properly. My experience living here has been wonderful.
I have never had any problems with living here. We are going on a year and a half and we are still loving it! We are a couple who live in the one bedroom townhouse and its really the most affordable/safe place in town. We have a patio that is big enough for all of my plants. Which is fantastic. The facility have always been great, and maintenance is very quick with fixing anything that needs to get done. So happy that we decided to move here! Thank you!! -Lauren & Chris

I lived at the Glen apartments for a year and the complex I lived in had a TERRIBLE roach infestation. I had maintenance try to take care of the problem but whatever they did didn't work. When I moved out I couldn't take any of my belongings with me since they had nested in everything I owned. Long story short, I lost everything due to their roach problem. They also have a serious mold problem that needs to be taken care of.
I'm continually impressed with living here. If something breaks, it's simple. They fix it. If you have a problem, they work to resolve it and show they care even if there isn't something they can do about it or it's going to take a while. The place is nice but what makes it great living here is the people. I feel like it's gotten a lot better over the past year and I hope it continues.

when we first moved in we told them that all our windows were sealed shut and we worried that it was a serious fire hazard, along with that we had several ceiling water leaks and other small issues that needed fixed, we were told that work orders were put in and maintenance will be by to fix things, 2 months went by of waiting, when i finally went in to ask what was going on, it turned out that no work order had been filed and that they were under the assumption that two previous renters were still living in the apartment we were in, they didn't even know we lived there, the washing machines are mostly broken with no signs warning which ones work and which ones dont, our mailbox door is broken and was never fixed and we've had our mail stolen due to it. the employees are rude and aggressive, and have never answered the phone on the multiple occasions i have called them during business hours and they do not even call you back, ever. finally, when we first moved in the women in the office promised us that the glenn has not had a roach problem in years and that we should never have a problem, the very first time we went into the apartment to see it for the first time, after having paid in full and sighed the contract, there was dead and half dead roaches in every cabinet, its one thing to have a roach problem, its an apartment complex, but to lie directly to our faces unprovoked? that shows you the kind of respect they have for there customers.

I have found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Any concerns or apartments issues have been addressed quickly and correctly. Yes there is water on streets when it rains but nothing like at other apartment complexes!! They even came out Sunday and cleaned up after Hurricane. This is a great place to live, I recommend it to any and everyone??

Roaches, bed bugs, poor drainage in apartments. Structure of all their apartment buildings are out of code and not safe. No retention ponds, so it floods a lot standing water between one foot to three feet of water. Parking lot has no drains, pot holes every where. Maintenance and office staff are horrible. Please do not live here.
My family and I have been living here for 5 years. each year gets worse. Maintenance takes over 30 days to fix anything. They like to change the rules when they fill the need. regardless of what your lease says. When there's a problem with a neighbor the office tells you to call the police. The police says they can't do anything cause its private property. They offer no amenities for the high price they charge to live there.

The rates for the Glen is very reasonable and the apartment is pretty spacious but the appliances and all bathroom faucets need updating. The Glen has poor customer service when dealing with their tenents.
Overall my apartment is pretty nice. There are some small issues with the apartment.
Great place for young adult just starting out in a career, small family, or elderly. It's convenient for college students but not the best place for them to be. The walls are really thin, I can hear my neighbor going up the stairs and into the bathroom and flushing the toilet. No lie the rent is cheap and it increase each year. There are no cool amenities its simply just a place to live. It takes a little while for maintenance issues to be resolved due to so many maintenance issues that need to be addressed but if you keep reporting about your problem, take pics, and email then they eventually will come. All in all it just okay not a mind blowing place to call home but a really good place to start.
It would be a very nice place if the actually fixed stuff! The maintenance people dont fix anything! But if they had the right people working it would be a really nice place
Been here for 2 years. It is a great starter for college student of small family just starting out. Cheap rent and a roof ovee your head are the only benefits. maintenance only comes if it an emergency. I have a crack in my floor.I have had a hole in my window seal for months after request and phone calls still waiting. Thin walls and needs an overall upgrade
