I have been here 1.5 years and this is what home is suppose to feel like, they neighbors are great, everyone is willing to help each other and the leasing office and maintenance has been quick when I have needed something done or a question answered.
I enjoy the apartments, very quiet and peaceful environment and comfortable to live in! Everything is fairly close such as stores and restaurants.

I’ve lived here for a few years and it continues to be reasonably priced for the area. I love the modern interior. Admin and Maintenance staff are quick to respond. It is also in a safe area.

Upon moving into our unit we were having slight issues, but Monica went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we got the unit we wanted and was able to expedite our move in before our previous lease ended. She truly cared and gave me a wonderful experience as I was hopeless. Thank you!!! Highly recommend.

The apartment is very nice to stay in ,but when it comes to business the leasing office is very unprofessional. Me and my sister lived here for two years ,our lease ended in August of this year and we still have not received our security deposit. They tell you it will take 40 days to get your deposit it has now been almost 3 months.we have reached out multiple times, but still have not received our deposit.you also can never get in contact with the leasing office so good luck with needing something from them.so if you would like to stay at a nice apartment but a unprofessional business then this is the perfect place :)

This apartment is spacious, affordable, and dog friendly. Location is convenient for food, entertainment, and flights if you enjoy travel. Would recommend to anyone.
I really love these apartment very quiet and loving people here.
I recently moved into North Point and I have nothing but good things to say. The stainless steel appliances really amazed me , the closet is big and being able to have my own washer/ dryer really did it for me! I would definitely recommend renting here
My husband and I moved into North Point in December and so far we love it. The apartments are new models, have updated appliances, maintenance is always fast and it’s in a great central location!
We have enjoyed our stay here. Apartments are clean and nice. We have loved our time here and would definitely recommend this place to others.
You can hear your neighbors speak clearly walls are not properly installed as per current market Water flow can be heavily heard in your rooms from building Property is new.
While the apartment was generally in good shape and had up to date appliances and little to no damage upon moving in, it was a terrible apartment complex experience. I never had much issues with neighbors, all my issues are with management. They were hard to get ahold of from day one. I was given ZERO guidance on how or where to get my keys and after waiting an house past my move in time (expecting someone to meet me) I walked into my unlocked apartment where the keys were just sitting on the counter. While they were often on top of maintenance requests that had to do with major appliances (ie. fridge and firealarm). EVERY time they would never give a time and would show up unannounced. Many times letting themselves into my apartment when I was not there. Don't expect to hear anything back from management unless money is involve. No one is ever on site in the main office or every answers the phone. While this seems like a nice location, facilities, and price, I HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere. You can get a better deal, experience, and livelihood literally anywhere else in Roanoke.
Decent apartment itself, very up to date appliances, spacious unit, nice views, and great lighting. However there is no communication with property management, and good luck if your having issues with your unit and need maintenance. It takes weeks for your issue to get looked into. Horrible insulation, you can literally hear people across the street from you and as well next door. Also rent is subject to fluctuating for unknown reasons. I have no intentions on renewing my lease when’s due at the end of the year. Hope this helps.
Pros: lots of natural light, nice layouts, spacious living space, friendly neighbors Cons: they never answer the phones and rarely follow up on voicemails, no one has been at the on-site leasing office in 2 years, they do not seem to communicate efficiently with their maintenence staff, they did not give me a mail key when I moved in... And finally their lease requires you to renew 60 days in advance to the date, but they won't tell you the rent's increase until 30 days in advance.
Can't speak with a person Mold issues will be blamed on you for not changing the filter and then when you show proof of purchasing a filter, they will say it was never mold it was "dirt"
Management is nearly impossible to get ahold of. The process of submitting a maintenance request is deliberately convoluted so that they don't have to spend the money to actually fulfill the promises they've made to their residents. My apartment was not clean when I did my initial walk through, (urine stain at base of toilet, dust caked on closet shelves, animal hair in the blinds, etc.). The smoke alarm has been on the fritz since my arrival, the drain was clogged. After expressing these concerns to management repetitively, I believe they may have sent someone to unclog the shower drain (or perhaps it was the draino I used since they wouldn't come), but my smoke alarm still rings intermittently without cause. As the summer months approach, I'm realizing that my AC unit does not work. I just submitted a maintenance request, we will see if this issue gets tended to. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything, including airplanes at all times of the night, the dogs of your neighbors, as well as every word of their conversations. If management would allow me to terminate my lease early without penalty, I would certainly move out. Only 7 more months. Save yourselves.
This is by far Not a Luxury apartment. Fake wood floors, they should have granite counter tops in all the bathrooms. EXTREMELY THIN WALLS !!! You can hear every unit in your building.....not to mention all the dogs that live there and dog poop everywhere......might as well call it a dog kennel. Management goes against their own rules, which means NO EXOTIC ANIMALS, and I know for a fact that they are letting a new tenant bring in a Huge Parrot Bird. Management needs to be replaced by New Management that actually takes care of the people living there and goes by the rules. These people will do nothing for you when a complaint has been presented. They just tell you to take care of the problem yourself, or call the police. The Current Management team are Very Very Lazy people and they close the office ALL the time. A manager should be there at ALL times. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY AT NORTH POINT APARTMENTS ! Look for a house to rent instead, best decision we made. No noise, no dogs running up and down the hallway.... It's called PRIVACY ...... and you will Not have that at North Point ! I have many complaints to add but this should be good enough to understand to not move there period. P.S., they will screw you over on the water bill as well.
Walls are so thin and without insulation that EVERY word from joining apartment can be heard. There were 2 very large dogs above me that would run up and down the hall all day and barked continuously when left alone. There is seldom an attendant at the office, so, you have to call and a leave messages for EVERYTHING. After leaving multiple messages without a return call, I had to catch maintenance coming from another apartment to get something repaired. After moving out, I was unable to get anyone to return my call to get my deposit back after 60 days have passed (supposed to be returned in 45 days). I'm still waiting as of day 70. Management not good at all! So happy I moved out!!!!
The buildings are new, and some of the finishes are nice, but there is a LOT lacking. They offer no extras that I would expect from a "luxury" apartment complex. No package delivery service, no garages, no car wash, no dog walk...you name it, it isn't here. I can hear my neighbors through the walls, in the hallways, going up & down the stairs. Hardly any closet space and no bathroom storage at all. I have lived here for over 6 months and they are constructing a new building in the complex (and there is another building planned that hasn't started construction yet) so there is CONSTANT construction noise. Every day, no breaks on the weekends and they are often working until dark and on holidays. There is mud, dust, noise, mess, and everything else you would find on a construction site, including dumpster and porta-potty. There are often large construction vehicles taking up blocks of parking spaces in the lots assigned to residents. So far I've had one nail in my tire and thrown out several more when I've found them near my car. This place will only be OK when the construction is over, nothing great. Poor design all the way around. There's even a dumpster right next to the pool...who's idea was that??
I've lived at North Point for several months. I love the location and my lovely apartment. I do find the wall between my living area and my neighbor's living area thin and I do hear their conversations. However, I do not hear my neighbors on the bedroom side. Nor do I hear my upstairs neighbor unless something heavy is dropped, which is seldom. It is an apartment. One is going to hear some from the neighbors. The biggest negative for me moving in was the mess the floor and some walls were left in after finishing the apartment. Since the managers would expect it to be left clean before one moved away, one would think they would have it clean to move into. The positives: Lovely finishes, great appliances, ease of trash removal, great parking, and awesome pool. The size of the apartments is great for the money and finishes. And it is hard to beat the amenities for the price in this area.
I have no complaints. It's a nice place to live. Affordable
I can hear my neighbor's conversations in my living room. This apartment is too expensive to have to deal with that.
