Property Ratings at North Ridge Heights
I moved in a few months ago and me and my Family have been very happy. Clean and comfortable. Applying was fast and very easy for this property.
This is a town home community, it is so different than the apartment lifestyle. We have so much more room and don't have to worry about neighbors above or below us because it's a 2 story home. We love it here and have so much more space and privacy. Vanessa and Boyd have been so helpful and make this such a great place to live! They genuinely care about the residents and it shows in their every day attitude. Great place for our family!
North Ridge Heights is a great community. They are not just apartments, they are town homes with more space. My mother has lived here for over 4 years and she loves it. She has mentioned to me that there has recently been a wonderful change in Management and she said that she will not live anywhere else. Her neighbors are like family and the community really watches out for each other. It is clean and quiet. Highly recommended as great place to live.
This time two years ago, I thought I found the hidden gem in Pueblo. The rent seemed reasonable, they allow pets, the location seemed great and my initial meetings with the property manager showed no red flags. After living here for over a year....my opinions differ. The letters posted on the door are generally passive aggressive complaints about spilled rocks, empty potted plants and any undesirable furniture in the view of the roads. My favorite part of living here, is my neighbors. I live among people who get along and kids that play outside. What management fails to see is that we are all families just trying to feel at home in the strained financial situations we all seem to share. Management fails to see the rocks strewn by kids who are still happy and trusting enough to play and run outside; they fail to see the mother's trying to make front doors feel like home with a potted plant (which ya is still going to be there during winter...) Be aware if/when you sign a contract with North Ridge Heights, you are giving them the rights to enter your apartment, they only need to notify you after the fact. You are also signing away your rights to the enforce the same contract for the entirety of lease term..... The management is allowed to make any changes to the contract as long as they notify residents one month in advance. The most recent change included residents being charged for water. The proposed way of billing is to take a building and divide the amount of apartments in the building. If you are a family of one or two, DO NOT MOVE HERE, you will pay for other people's water. If you are a night worker, day sleeper, DO NOT MOVE HERE, your apartment will be entered during the day without notice.

We try very hard to provide a safe, pleasant environment for all our residents and welcome everyone to contact us to try to resolve any issue they may have. Having said that, we do have policies and rules that we expect all residents to comply with in order to maintain consistency for all residents. Some people do find that hard to live up to and move on having a negative view. However, we also have many residents who seem to like that we have restrictions that keep the community maintained. For anyone who looks at reviews, I would just say happy current and/or former residents don't often put good reviews online. It's usually only those folks who were not in compliance. So, try to keep an open mind when you consider any apartment community and try to judge for yourself if it's a good fit for you.

We try very hard to enhance and maintain our community and to provide a safe, clean and inviting atmosphere for our residents and their families. In exchange for that, all we ask is that residents comply with their leases and that is difficult for some. Everyone is given a move in checklist at move in and we do immediate work orders to correct any major issue. This form is used at move out so that we don't charge anyone for something present at their move in.We have no problem with potted plants at doorways so I'm not sure where that complaint comes from. We do ask parents to supervise their kids so that our landscaping stays looking tidy. And to be clear, we NEVER enter anyone's home without their permission, unless it's an emergency. We do charge for water but it is based on the number of occupants in each apartment. We are always here to try to resolve any problem our residents have but unfortunately we are not made aware until we see a negative review posted. Please remember that people who are satisfied rarely stop their busy lives to post positive reviews. It's usually only those who are non-compliant that seek to try to diminish an otherwise good community. I would encourage anyone to decide for themselves on whether it is a healthy community for you. If you are looking for a place that takes pride in their community, tries to keep it maintained on an on-going basis, then you might want to stop by and judge for yourself.

We wholeheartedly regret when any of our residents are unhappy and it is unfortunate that they might post this type of review rather than discuss with us personally. We try to fix any issues as they arise and always encourage anyone who has a complaint to call our management office to discuss and hopefully come to a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved. Although most of what this review says is actually inaccurate, it is always up to anyone looking for an apartment community to make up their own mind when choosing their new home. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone has regarding what has been posted and/or their own questions about our community. Given the chance, we will do everything possible to make our residents happy in their homes.
Do not rent from here. Beware. They will take your full deposit to "clean the apartment". They are shady people. Do not go here. Big mistake. Management are liers and frauds. Saralee the main lady is a big fraud. They need to be put out of business for taking advantage of people and lying all the time.

We try our very best to maintain an environment that is safe, clean and well-kept. We also expect all residents to understand that and comply with their leases, however some find it difficult to live up to that. We are always open to work out any dispute someone might have but we often are not made aware of a problem until someone leaves a negative review. We have a professional cleaning crew come in before anyone move in and if the apartment is not left in the same condition at move out, they come back in to make it ready for the next resident. That charge is always passed on to the resident who is moving out. Having said all that, I hope you will decide for yourself whether our community would be a good fit for you and we're always happy to try to explain anything negative that you might see or hear.

Without knowing the specific circumstances of your tenancy, it is difficult to know why you are unhappy. We try to make it clear what condition an apartment must be in at move out in order to return all or most of anyone's security deposit. If the condition is unacceptable however, there are charges involved in getting the apartment ready for another tenant that are typically charged to an out-going resident. Having said that, please feel free to contact us and we'll try to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. We are committed to not only maintaining but enhancing our community and provide a safe, comfortable environment for all of our residents.
The landlord at these apartments is beyond horrible! When we moved in the apartment was not clean, we had to clean the floors, bathroom, kitchen and have the vents vacuumed out because of the trash in them. The place constantly smelt of smoke even though the landlord claimed they replaced the carpets and no one had smoked in the house. When we moved out we left much cleaner than when we moved in and we got charged all of our deposit plus more!

I am assuming your move in was during previous management. Although I don't know how previous management handled move ins, I do know that we have every apartment professionally cleaned and carpets shampooed prior to any new resident's move in. Any necessary repairs are also done during that period. That has been our standard for at least two years now but I know it was not consistent prior to that. I know that we make every effort to fairly assess the condition of all apartments at move out and to return as much of anyone's security deposit as we possibly can. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable environment for all of our residents and wish we could've made your stay with us better for you. We hope you the best in your future.
This place a year ago was a mess, I came to look at it once and was horrified. Since new owners and management have come in and really cleaned it up. I am not a renter and I really like it it's very quiet here and clean.
This place is clean with a inviting atmosphere. You are close to a shopping mall within minutes.
