Property Ratings at Northbrooke Township
Moved in 6 months ago and things are good. They are helpful in the office and maintenance came twice for issues. I moved here because of the price and gym next to my building.
You think it’s all good until you start living there. The walls are thin, some nights me and my roommate could hear music blasting from our neighbors, kids screaming and crying, and snoring from the next door neighbors! The very first week we moved in, a mouse ran out from under the stove while we were in the kitchen, and in the mornings we would find mice droppings all over the kitchen countertops and even in the closet underneath the stairs. Our linen closet in the upstairs hallway broke and for 2, close to 3 weeks, it remained broken no matter how many times we called the maintenance office. They finally came to fix it after the constant calling. The neighborhood was unsafe as one night I could hear a group of guys screaming outside and banging on doors, shouting. There was even cases where I thought I heard gunshots here. This place is dangerous and me and my roommate regretted coming here. Do NOT LIVE HERE! Don’t fall for it like how we did, it only looks good on the surface
This is the worst establishment I’ve ever lived in. Staffing is poor and misinformed. Does not keep up with community standards, consistent trash and waste by the dumpster, unwelcomed guests park and participate in non public acts in the lots, cost is constantly rising, frequent need for maintenance repair. All in all do not recommend, save your self the disappointment.
i have been living in my house for almost a year i cant wait to move in july. i have caught 16 mice and there's still mice in my house.... all in the stove all in the cabinets mice droppings all over and i'm far from dirty i clean my house i don't leave dishes un the sink i take my trash out ive called the rental office and they came out to patch up the holes and theres still mice in my house.........PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ DONT DO IT YOU WILL REGRET IT
We found roaches in our apartment within 24 hours of moving in and bringing 0 food into the place. Despite reporting this issue, it wasn't ffully resolved until roughly 7 months later. The floors creak with every step. You will hear EVERY sound if you're unfortunate enough to live below heavy footed individuals, children, or anyone having sex on the floor. Neighbors do not have the common decency to turn down their car music at all hours of the night in the parking lot. All of our drains were clogged when we moved in which I fixed myself instead of waiting for maintenance yet again. The carpet was installed poorly and you WILL step on the staples they used so be prepared to avoid specific spots or wear slippers constantly. One of the oddest things of this place is the kitchen in our apartment has a crooked floor. It is actually convex at one point from wall to wall. Our fridge door slams shut on its own constantly because of this incline and so does a storage shelf door we have on the opposite end. Upside, the maintenance team has been quick and communicative, but everything else has made this not worth the headache.
Rodent infested homes and they don’t do nothing about it! And I been here for 5yrs and now I’m not eligible for carpet.
My place is infested with mice. I use peppermint oil. It barely works

At first the place was ok quiet beautiful view all that.. after a few weekend complete trash place has mices and roach you have to call the office every week to be placed on a list for the terminators that come and do half of what they did the first time they come.. They watch your home like a hawk you're better off staying with your parents than moving to this rat infected place with a whole bunch of rules for nothing.. Oh and don't call the leasing office everybody has an attitude

Before I moved in I pointed out things to be fixed, I moved in those things still looked the same. The staff in the office is nice. Maintenance do come when called. The walls are thin as hell, that I can hear everything. I live in front of townhomes and they are always loud, and security never ride around at night when they are suppose to. Oh and I’ve called serval times about mice. They are everywhere bc of the small holes(maintenance poorly stuffed) in the wall, no matter how clean you keep your place, they’ll still be there! I’ve had little roaches on my table, up the walls. It ridiculous. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I am college student and i recently just moved into these apartments. Everything was nice for few until i noticed MICE RUNNING THROUGH MY APARTMENT! Why am I paying all this money just for mice to be running through my place. And on top of that, THE EXTERMINATORS DID NOTHING TO GET RID OF THE MICE! NOTHING AT ALL! I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. Not even my worst enemies. Dont waste your time with this place. This place is trash.

Dear Resident, With the stress of college life, you should not have to deal with rodents as well. Unfortunately, neighbors do not heed the notice to keep their apartments clean and food covered. Please reach out to your onsite manager, Carmen at 410/828/5688, who will schedule an exterminator to rid your home of pests. We appreciate your communicating with us; we want to be able to provide you with the customer service you deserve.
I moved here in 05/2016 I have a deluxe townhome and my court which is Astro ct is very quiet, clean and peaceful. The complex updated all of our ovens this past year. I have beautiful dark wooden cabinets. I have not experienced the rodent issue, I do have a cat. Maintenance is always prompt and quick when called. I enjoy it here, I came to this side of town from Owings Mills because Owings Mills rental prices were outrageous. Since I've been here I have no complaints.

Moved in June and not even a 3weeks after moving in I noticed major rotten problems. Call maintenance they came and pulled out a skinny dusty key chain flashlight to inspect the townhouse. They "covered" what they saw... yet a mouse is still running around like he paying bills. Clearly this townhome is the mouse's and I'm just a unwelcome trespassers! The walls are extra thin you can hear your neighbors snoring, fighting, you in the room with them!
One word: Trash Straight trash, garage, needs to be thrown away immediately, horrible, turn around don't move here, nasty, rubbish, apt complex is scum, rethink your decision, they will get you with that tour,
Please for the sake of yourself and the people living with you pay attention to your lease and all of the information inside of it. these people are great at getting more money then what they should. Compare to all of the other small complexes around for the price its as good as your going to get so it at least has that going for it. I would like to say that while I know people have had really bad experiences with this place I would say mine and my husband's was ok. Just ok. We we're lucky enough not to live in a apartment which I would stay clear of no matter what they try and tell you. To be honest with how much they charge you for everything you would think their maintenance crew would be a bit more proactive when they inspect issues that you call and complain about. I must agree with some things i've seen. because you do not have to have great credit to get into this place you get a lot of people who just don't care and have children that of course care even less. You will also have to deal with not only your neighbors being jerks and parking in between two spots but people who live over in the apartment complex parking over in the lot as well. Children like to play by your car which has ended with my husband and I getting more then enough dint and since parents don't like to keep their children into check we find yourself dealing more with that. In the end any real complaints you have they will just flat out ignore or shrug their shoulders at you saying there is nothing they can do about it. Again this place is ok and I would only say do that townhouses not the apartments, but in the end I am so happy to be out of the place. I hate it and never plan on looking back. Would I recommend this place? I would say if people are despite enough that they need some place to go I would say so, but if you can afford to put down the 900 to 1800 deposit to move in I think you might be better off looking in another place.
If you want to live with rodents in a facility with uncaring staff this is the place for you. The neighbors are load. Issues go unresolved. Maintenance enters your home without knocking. I would not recommend living here.
The apartments are nice and spacious I have plenty of room, for my clothes and furniture and when I call for maintenance they come within a reasonable amount of time
I hate it i wanna kive in a smaller community quite thats why im here in this website trying to find a new apt for me and my child
Northbrooke has well priced rent for two bedroom apartments and townhomes. It is really close to grocery stores, gas station, and about 15 minutes from downtown Baltimore.
The complex is definitely priced accordingly. It is cheaper than most apartments in the vicinity. The appliances are well outdated, it does not come equipped with a dishwasher or microwave. It has a constant rodent and cockroach issue regardless of the cleanliness of your apartment. The hallways smell of drugs and the neighbors are inconsiderately loud. We had issues with the bathroom drains and the door which was never resolved. The cable connection is only in the smallest bedroom. The grounds are not well kept. It was a last minute option, so unless you are in the same situation then I would not recommend living here.
(Northbrooke Township) My family of 4 moved into our townhome on a great deal in April. We received May's rent free with a 13 month lease and a discount because of my hospital profession. Although our previous apartment had more square feet, we were blessed to have a grassy, safe, patio where my 2 children can play in view. Curses began with the bathroom sink pipe bursting and being repaired within the first week. Neighbors that like to party with to the point of music blasting and vibrating walls late at night. Our dishwasher, that we pay extra for, (considered deluxe amenities), going up after 2 weeks. Hang on, it only gets better from here. Repair efforts and eventually replacement only came after 30 days. This is after placing 2 tickets online, calling and speaking to several reps in the office, and eventually making a complaint at the corporate office. 30 days later, it was replaced, only to discover it was installed incorrectly. Flooding poured onto the kitchen floor daily, underneath the floor leading to the living room area where carpeting and one of my couches were damaged. There's more, but I'm not going to go any further. I think you get the picture. 13 month lease countdown until I can move. Decent neighborhood and I've been told the local elementary school is excellent. As new tenants, we're not impressed with their lack of communication, improperly trained maintenance, and poor construction of units. Would not recommend!
My name is Bridgette I used to live in Dutch Village OK townhomes had little problem lived there with a girl I thought was my friend come to find out she was not paying her half of the rent so we got put out of the place I call home I worked hard every day to keep a house me and my boyfriend went on apartment. Com I looked up and found a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment that we can fully move in July 31 and once again call something home
