Extremely Disappointing – Would Not Recommend
I recently toured this apartment complex and was immediately struck by how poorly maintained the property is overall. From the moment I stepped out of my car, it was clear that upkeep and resident safety are not priorities here. First Impressions: Broken Glass and Trash Everywhere One of the first things I noticed was broken glass scattered in several parking spots, clearly from recent vehicle break-ins. This was deeply concerning and raised serious questions about the security of the complex. In addition, there was trash littered across walkways and grassy areas, giving the entire property a neglected and unkempt feel. Pet Waste and Unbearable Odor As I walked the grounds, the overwhelming smell of pet urine hit me multiple times. It wasn’t just a faint odor either—it was strong, persistent, and incredibly unpleasant. Pet waste was left on sidewalks and green spaces with no apparent effort being made to clean it up. This kind of environment is not only unhygienic but also shows a complete disregard for cleanliness and basic maintenance. Apartment Condition: Poorly Done Repairs and Neglect The unit I toured was no better. Inside, there were obvious patchwork repairs that looked rushed and unprofessional. Paint didn’t match in several areas, walls were unevenly patched, and fixtures looked old and poorly maintained. It honestly felt like a temporary cover-up job rather than a properly cared-for living space. Management and Care: Clearly Lacking What stood out the most during my visit was the overall lack of attentiveness from the management team. It felt like no one is really invested in the condition or comfort of this property. If this is what they allow prospective residents to see during a tour, I can only imagine what day-to-day life here must be like. I would strongly advise anyone considering this complex to look elsewhere. A place to live should feel safe, clean, and cared for—unfortunately, this one fails on all three fronts.

Management is horrible after making you sign they show another face and the amount of break ins that happened lately is ridiculous.

Horrible Office Staff
There were regular notices of car break in’s. Office staff would charge excessive fines for minor things. When you leave you’re required to have a professional carpet cleaner and maid come to clean out your apartment. The apartment will ask for proof of receipt. The gate was broken the entire time I lived there and so was the pool.

STELLAR MOVE-IN EXPERIENCE
I’m a new resident so I can only speak on the application process, management & staff’s communication, and overall move-in experience. I will say that so far management & staff have been superb. In fact, Tiffani and her staff’s professionalism and courtesy should be the standard that all other management companies strive for. The application process was normal as expected but what made the entire move-in experience a 5-star review was how attentive and communicative Tiffani and Aliyah were during the entire process. Ms. Tiffani followed up with me after the move in just to check to see if I needed any additional assistance. I hope everyone has the same experience I have had so far. I look forward to calling Northchase Village my home for the next 12 months.

Great property and staff. They have resident events monthly. This past pool party was a blast and the food was good. I love calling this place home. Great neighbors as well. Clean and crisp apartment homes.

I Damian Gee wanted to point out that the management team here are the best group of women that I ever meet.They address me as Mr.Damian and if I had any issues with my apartment they took care of it immediately.Then just the other day they had a resident pool party that I really enjoyed coming out to..Thank you ladies for appreciating your attendants and making sure our living here is peaceful and safe..

“This isn’t your home it’s just a rental”
I’ve been staying here for 4 months and it has been a complete nightmare roaches, knatts, plumbing issues in both restrooms and the kitchen, breakins are becoming a weekly occurrence and the staff is being inconsiderate, inconsistent, and insincere towards their on time paying tenants, what a quick way to lose business, I can’t wait to move.

Their management is embarrassing
New management came in and we thought things would get better . But no they claim to have changes in the process but just tell you that just so you think they do . I even emailed the manager and got no reply . Old management gave us a unworking key and new management does not take our word for it . New management told us they were replacing the old key system but just ended up buying more keys .So i bought a BRAND NEW KEY and as soon as i get it i go check if it works IT DOESNT. Its unbelievable and embarrassing. Entry/Exit gates don't work . So people that don't live here can easily come in ... Apart from that our neighbors and the apartments are really chill . And maintenance comes really fast. But other than that management and the manager her self don't care. Oh and they opened a pool that was closed by Harris County Public Health due to not meeting requirements and had to close it back up .

Communication & Attention To Detail
This review has little to do with the property and more to do with the management/office communication. Communication is without a doubt on the weaker side. There was a lack of attention to detail from management in regards to our rental process, and took way too long to get clarified. By the time we finally got a hold of someone, our quote for the rent went up another $200.

I enjoy very much living at Northchase. The staff is always willing to listen and try to help you with any issues. The maintenance staff is very timely & friendly. The grounds are well kept. Although COVID-19 has delayed some of the yearly upkeep issues, I know that with time these issues will be addressed. I appreciate all the parties & get-together the staff shows the tenants.

Hello good people, I've been team Northchase Village for 6yrs and counting. It has been an amazing experience and I love calling this place my "Home Sweet Home" Hospitality and maintenance is A1. One of the most important things for me is safety and that's one of the reasons that I stick with Northchase. They are very supportive, notifies us of any dangers and always implement ways to keep their tenants safe. I so love it here and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. nice!
the apartment was in excellent shape when we moved in. New carpets, newly painted walls etc.. The management was good, and they were prompt in getting things fixed (a/c not working) The complex is also well maintained ( gym, heated pool, etc..)

HANDS DOWN THE BEST APARTMENT HOMES EVER!
I moved in here Aug.2016 and I can honestly say I'm proud to call this my home! I love the apartments that are modern, up to date, spacious and IMMACULATELY kept up. The grounds are beautiful as it is maintained weekly! It is so quiet that I forget I'm in the city, tucked away feeling with trees surrounding the complex is serene. Not to mention the bus stop is literally across the street from the office! The management rocks! Personal, warm, friendly & at the same time PROFESSIONAL they really do care about us!! the residents web portal is so convenient!! The pool is an beautiful, huge! clean even has relaxing music that plays during the day!! There is 24 hr weight room as well as laundry facility (if u don't have one in ur unit)! Everyone is so friendly NEVER any violence or loud music or trash anywhere, speaking of there is valet trash that comes and picks up your trash outside of ur front door!!! And with the on-site security even more secure! AND ITS AFFORDABLE!! I have lived in a few apartments and I have never felt so at home and safe with my 21 month old baby than I have here!! Disappointing
I did the application and gave a deposit of 20lo0 dollars, they did not accept me for having a broken contract of 3 years ago and my wife either and she has no broken contract, when I was informed they tell me that they do not return the deposit, I feel cheated , But tomorrow I hope to withdraw this comment or to say differently if the manager returns my deposit.

quiet place to live. i have lived here for a year and i have just renewed my contract because it is in a very central area, everything is very close. the apartments are very well furnished, their workers are aware of everything, all is very clean and collected. i plan to be here for many years.

Great place to live!!!
I've been living here since July 2016...everything is nicely ran. The staff is awesome ppl and always there to satisfy the residents needs. Maintenance is the best, arrives on call and never have to wait days for anything. There's garbage pick-up nightly. Fitness and business room are so convenient, very well kept and clean. I love everything about Northchase Village. Great environment!!!

Absolutely LOVE my Apt!
I love my apartment! Spacious 1-bdrm floor-plan, quiet community, friendly office staff, quick maintenance, well maintained amenity areas, valet trash removal, fresh exterior paint, and free popcorn and coffee in the community center! The location is great too, pretty close to all the shopping and entertainment I need. One night a little lizard had found its way into my living room and I completely freaked. Even though it was long after normal office hours, the office manager gladly came over to assist with my crisis. The lizard was safely removed. =). I haven't had any problems within my year of leasing at Northchase, and I plan on staying. I highly recommend this complex, best place I've lived so far!

Great place
I have lived here for five years now and cant complain. Its very quiet especially with working the night shift and sleep during the day im able to sleep soundly of course every now and again you might here a car or two but still pleasant. The property is always kept clean and cut and the staff is very friendly

Love My Place, But It Could be Better
Large spacious floorplans that accomodates most large furniture. Having moved from a 3 bedroom home, the Cape Cod, smaller 2 bed room was perfect for me. Quiet complex for the most part. Been living here since February 2011 and for the most part have enjoyed my stay. However in recent months, we have had challenges with the security gates not working; most of the time they are simply opened for all to come in. The landscaping is maintained, however the buildings are faded (paint) and the front doors wreak of mole (white metallic doors with black spots). I, myself have to clean the outside of the front door monthly as it is not a pretty site as you drive up. This is something I think should be a part of the monthly maintenance of the property. Although they state they have a security officer, never saw one. Like I said in my title, Love my place, but it could be better as it was once a very lovely place but beginning to show lack of care.

Decent place
Parking is a problem unless you have reserved. Maintenence is pretty quick to respond to problems, the pool is nice though a little over chlorinated, and the hot tub is never hot. The apartments themselves are well built, insulation works great electric bills are good. I would recommend to a friend.
