Although surrounded by inhospitable desert, Phoenix is one of the largest cities in the United States, and the nation’s single largest state capital city. The area contains numerous galleries and museums, putting the people in contact with everything from the European masters to Native American craftsmanship to modern originals from Phoenix’s diverse artistic community. The Downtown cultural scene has developed into a top-notch feast of visual and performing arts, with symphony performances, live theater, and the popular First Friday exhibitions. Phoenix is also an excellent city for sports fans, being one of the few cities in America with local franchises in the NFL, MLB, NBA, and NHL. Several thousand students attend the two Arizona State University campuses in the city, as well as the over-50,000 who attend the main campus in neighboring Tempe.

Property Ratings at Northern Chateau Apartments
I just moved in about 2 months ago. I have been very happy here, nice Neighbors, very quiet. Tiffany,Melissa are the best. I would recommend this place to anyone. Tiffany, and Melissa thank You both for making Me feel at home.
It's okay. Besides the accessibility if your in a wheelchair.
These apartments fit the bill for beginning renters as well as those looking for a cheap and decent place to live. With utilities included and response staff this place has proved to be a diamond in the rough. There are only two noticeable flaws which are fireworks above or next to the apartments often and common car theifs(would recommend a car alarm).
Fair price for utilities included. Close to I-17 and shopping. Also furnished which is helpful when starting out on your own. Love the pool and bbq area.
After searching for an apartment in this price range from Mesa to Glendale I couldnt find a better deal. Tiffany and Larry; never had a problem with them or maintenance or security. This is a huge complex with a handful of people who are always working to keep the place up. Close to grocery stores, restraunts and there is even a pretty cool bar close by.
sent in application and $40 money order on the 10th of june. there was an apt available for june 20th. lady called and said she received it. said apartment not ready yet. have not heard anything since...I emailed them and received a message to check out their june and july specials...HELLO!...I already applied...guess I was taken for $40......
I'm currently searching for an apartment in the valley area. When I found this listing, I was so excited. It seemed to fit my needs perfectly- right price, furnished, utilities included- it seemed great! So, I stopped in for a visit to view the floor plans & maybe grab an application. Upon arrival the office employees looked at me like I had 3 heads. I introduced myself & asked if I'd be able to view a floor plan & speak with them about renting at their complex. The lady there immediately handed me a pamphlet for free assistance locating an apartment and tried to rush me out the door. When I asked again about these units, she started speaking to me as though I was a toddler, quickly letting me know that there were no openings, and there were no models because they've even rented out their models. They only had a binder with the few photos you're able to see on this page. I asked about their requirements & application process. They only require you to prove that you make at least the rent, but they're very picky about how they'll accept that proof. They kept insisting that they absolutely had to have pay-stubs or W-2's, bank statements & other proofs of income were unacceptable. They seemed further annoyed the more I tried to politely explain that I just moved, I didn't have a job yet. They only got excited when I said I'd be able to pay 2 months up front, /then/ they wanted to explain the process to me. The application fee is $40 like it says above. But all that does is get you on a waiting list for apartments that have no lease, and no set date when they'd be available. So you'd be paying $40 per adult, to wait in line for an impossible to determine amount of time. ("We may have an opening in a week, we may not have an opening for 8 years. It's impossible to tell.") And forget even asking for an application to take home. They want you to fill everything out right then & right there, which was very inconvenient considering I didn't have my significant other there with me to apply as well. The total move-in cost for a 1-bed unit is about $1000 after all of the fees. Which I suppose isn't too bad, considering most places ask for an additional month's rent on top of everything. In essence, the office was rude, didn't want to help me, wouldn't & couldn't let me even see a unit, and only wanted my wait-list money. I hope you have better luck than I did.
Don't let the website and internal self-reviews of this place fool you. The manager of this complex has the customer service skills of a correctional officer; none. The lady is irate with residents, vendors or whom ever else crosses her path. Her negative attitude is also reflective in her office staff. The front desk guy is equally as rude, if not more, than the manager. This guy is arrogant and has a non nonchalant manner about dealing with requests or issues. His responses are dry and snub which usually don't answer the questions at hand. There seems to be no coordination or communication amongst the staff which become evermore apparent when placing work orders. They get to you when they get to you without any prior notice. Although within their contractual agreements, staff can enter a unit for maintenance or repairs; however, they routinely do this without any notice and usually conducted when residents are not home. This is an extreme security risk and invasion of privacy. When a repair has been completed, there is no document or note left for the resident explaining what was done or who performed the work. Prior to moving out of that place 3 months ago, it appeared the manager was taking steps to improve the overall aesthetics of the complex by improving the landscaping. This place could look like the Taj Mahal, but it would not hide the fact that the management at that place is horrible. Worst of all is the manager and staff are aware of their unprofessional attitudes and make no apologies for it. The cost may be affordable but if you really need a place to stay I suggest you pass this place right on by because you're probably going to find yourself moving within a few months or getting evicted for arguing with the management there which seems to happen more times than not.
First of all I haven't even moved into my apartment yet and I'm already having problems with the manager Tiffany I called her to let her know due to a family sudden death I wouldn't be able to move into the building so if I can have my $200 deposit back she told me that after 48 hours its not none refundable no where on the application did it stated that and when I turned in my deposit that wasn't even communcaited to me immediately she gave me an attitude was extremely rude telling me to look on my recepit that it states the $200 deposit information and.... I gave it to them in a moneyorder so you think she would have been explained the non refundable fee before she wrote on it cause once you write on moneyorder you can't even return them PERIOD and to even have people give $200 deposit fees for these apartments and they can't even see the inside until the day they move is suspicious from the beginning and I should have followed my first mine I just know after the lack of compassion and rudeness I received from Tiffany the manager I am having a hard time considering still moving into this apartment build I feel like she purposely took my money and didn't own up to it instead was rude and nasty like I said I haven't even moved onto the building yet and I'm already having major issues I'm so not happy
