Property Ratings at Northern Cross Apartments
The office management ha sheen unresponsive for the last two years, since the new owners bought the property. I have had mold in my apartment no less than five times and they take weeks and sometimes months to repair. They took over six months to repair our mail box and we had to pick up our mail at the post office with no notice from management. No one answers the phone and if you’re lucky they might answer your email once a week. Go somewhere else.
There is virtually no redeeming quality to this apartment complex. After the blizzard, there were a number of maintenance issues, which I completely understand. However, many of us have been without water for almost a week, and there is no work being done on the situation over the weekend. Many residents cannot bathe, cook, or even flush their toilets, yet no one has been on site working on the issue over the weekend: no maintenance men, no plumbers, no one. There has been no offers of compensation or workarounds from management regarding this issue as they are content to let their residence continue to suffer. The police are here on a shockingly regular basis, and after Jan. 23 none of my neighbors feel safe here. The property is quite dark, with few lights in the common areas such as the parking lot and the breezeways. Just compare this complex to the one next door to see how poorly lit Northern Cross truly is. P.S.: The individual maintenance men who work on the property are awesome and hardworking, and I can't thank them enough. The overall management of the property, however, is abysmal.
I have lived at Northern Cross almost one year. The maintenance staff is great and service is always provided quickly and expertly. The office manager (Morgan) and (Maddie) are friendly, courteous, and always helpful resolving any issue. The grounds are well maintained. Restaurants and shopping are convenient. Darlene Lambert

Well everything has been so much better thanks to Morgan and the office staff. Morgan went over and above to make my daughter and happy where we live. The gates are working the pool is clear and usable since July. We even have a friend moving into the building next to us. They have had many nice events at the office so we can all meet our neighbors. I can now say we are happy and pleased with Norther Cross Apartments. If you check them out give my name thanks Randi G

Management always has an excuse for the reason things aren't fixed or if something happens. If you bring a issue up about something they will just tell you that it's be fixed or they'll talk to maintenance.

The new management in 2019 is horrible. They are a business only care about how much money they can squeeze out of tenants extra from rent, they charge you 75 dollars extra per money if you have more than 2 "outdoor" furniture items, i got fined because i had 2 wooden pieces outside, apparently those are indoor furniture even though there is no difference, do not move in here, protect yourself

I lived here for 2.8 years (thru March 2017), and it was great. The few maintenance issues I had were completed within 24 hours, usually the same day. Never had a problem with bugs. Staff was always friendly whenever I interacted with them (email, phone, in-person). Every now and then the staff will hand you free donuts or Chic-Fil-A as you leave the complex in the morning. They’ll send you an email or text message if they have a package waiting for you in the office. They were super easy to work with when I moved out, and in spite of my cat vomiting a few times on the carpet, they graciously gave me my full security deposit back, which was very cool of them. My only complaint is that they’re not open on Sundays, which was tough if I needed to pick something up from the office (I work in Dallas, usually on trips Friday through Sunday, so I was rarely around when the office was open. Stop giving your employees a work-life balance!) Anyway, highly recommend.

I LOVE THIS APT COMPLEX! THE STAFF AND MANAGER ARE SUPER NICE! MAINTENANCE GETS ORDERS DONE IN A DAY OR TWO. IT IS VERY QUIET NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH NEIGHBORS. AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT FOR THE APT WE HAVE. FEELS LIKE HOME

My husband and i moved here just about 3 years ago with our son who is almost 3. This is the only apartment complex we have ever renewed with, usually after move in you find that its not as good as it seems. But not with this place. Its so quiet because all around it is fields. No crazy neighbors, just nice families. My husband and i know all the neighbors on our side of the building and more in other buildings because the the people are so friendly. The staff is very helpful when you have a problem and work orders get done with the quickness. Its really cool that the front office has a cares team that sends you a welcome package when you move in and they put on a few community events every month like pool parties, movies on the lawn and game nights in the club house. All in all my favorite place we've lived.

I have lived here since November and I've loved every minute of it. The office staff is amazing and always have had quick responses from maintenance. We have enjoyed going to the community events. I love that I have a place that my kids can play and I feel safe sitting outside and letting them play. highly recommend!

I have been living here for over 3 years and I love it. The office staff is amazing. They even have curbside trash pick up now. I know that makes my life easier. I live on the second floor and have a view of the pool. I can say I am definitely happy with my experiences.

Horrible! Parking is bad. ..I have to park at the front most of the time and walk a mile to get home..sometimes with a lot of stuff! So many trashy people here now...I don't feel safe anymore. Trash everywhere on ground! Dumpsters overflowing a lot. Rent is way too high for what it is! Very outdated apt! They had some excuse for not letting us see the apt before we signed lease! Paint speckled all over dirty floor. Bugs...saw a few roaches in tub. Noise is bad...upstairs neighbors are awful all the time! Tons of spiders!! You have to walk thru mud a lot too. Careless drivers! If you want to pay rent online watch out for the absurd convenience fees! I can't wait till the lease is up! Hate this place! This is definately NOT a luxury apt!

I've lived at the Bellagio with my husband and dog for 2 years. The best part about living here for me is that there are NO BUGS! The floorplans are also really nice and we've never had any issues or problems with the building that were not addressed right away. The maintenance staff is great here. The worst part about living here is the parking. It is sometimes difficult to find a close spot to your apt later in the day. Also, the staff is mostly great except for one girl that NEVER smiles or acknowledges you when you walk into the office. If you can avoid her you'll be fine. The neighbors are great, mostly families. A lot of the children play outside together and get along well. I do wish people would clean up after their pets more often, but this seems to be a common problem at pet friendly apartments. All in all, I would recommend these apartments to a friend, as they are a comfy place to live.
