Downtown Noblesville represents a hub of activity thanks to its combination of beautiful architecture, shops, and restaurants. Stretch your legs outside your apartment while glimpsing the city's glorious past with a stroll along Conner Street. More than 50 of these structures appear on the National Register of Historic Places. The massive old courthouse on Conner and 9th Street features French Renaissance architecture and serves as the heart of the historic district.
Matteo's Ristorante Italiano faces the courthouse and serves authentic Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Fresh pasta and a friendly atmosphere make this a go-to spot for dinner, and locals can't get enough of the wine paired with fried ravioli, chicken marsala, and clam linguine.
You might discover a hidden treasure from Italy at the Noblesville Antique Mall right next door to Matteo's. Peruse multiple floors of antique dolls, Coca-Cola memorabilia, and all kinds of Americana in this retail adventure.

Property Ratings at Northlake Village
I lived here from 2022 till this year. The 1st year they didnt even plow snow or shovel sidewalks. The pool was green with algae almost all summer and it often was closed because of it. The linoleum was so nasty that it would turn your feet black. We had water damage that gave us black mold on the wall and floor. The 2nd year was no better than the 1st. We had to go month to month at the end of your lease that cost an extra 600.00 dollars per month and if that was great. We got a final bill from them for over 850.00 for get this new carpet and linoleum. Dont walk from this place run.

I moved in here. I realize that I had made a huge mistake from the cigarette smoke painted over walls to the doors being installed incorrectly to where they destroyed themselves overtime, and then Northlake trying to get us to pay out of our own pocket for their error. even to the Bathtubs being painted in so it slowly flakes off and goes down the drain and clogged and have to call them to get it unclogged because you don’t have any of the tools do it. To the outlets horrifically wired to where you want to turn off a breaker in the kitchen and it turns off half of the apartment. I do not recommend this place. It has been horrific living here.

Our air conditioner is broken again and it has been two weeks. It is currently 86 degrees in our apartment and nobody cares about fixing the issue. Also, I have been experiencing some issues with the bathroom

I lived at Northlake twice in 3 different units under 3 different owners. The quality of the unit updating is average at best. The complex does have garages but now charges " storage unit" prices. The garages are in bad shape, rotten garage doors and entry doors that don't seal, sagging dry wall. The items I stored in my garages suffered damage from mice infestation. There was, what appeared to be, black mold damage behind the washing machine and on the ceiling of the furnace/water heater closet. Maintenance crew is very average at best. Unit pricing is high for the complexes age/condition. Proceed with caution if you consider living at Northlake.

We deeply regret to hear about your less than satisfactory experience at Northlake. We sincerely apologize for the condition of the units and garages, and assure you that we are taking your feedback seriously. Our goal is to continously work on improving our amenities, including pest control measures and general maintenance. We understand the importance of value-for-money for our residents, and will take into consideration your thoughts on pricing. Your message helps us realize areas where we need improvement; thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We moved in around July 2021 and from day one we have had problems. The back door had to be replaced. The electric box was painted over to where it was sealed shut. Dents in the walls and floors. The pool was disgusting and closed pretty much the whole summer. Some of the staff have been very rude to me and to other previous residents. When we looked at this place they showed us this really nice apartment and the day we moved in it was dark and very worn down. Now, the water heater has gone out and no one has actually fixed it. They said they serviced it but they did not. I advise you take your hard earned money and sanity elsewhere. My family and I are so excited to be hopefully leaving this place in a few months.

Good afternoon, we apologize you have had issues since moving into our community and want to thank you for bringing this to our attention. Last year we did have issues with the pool due the chlorine shortage, we’ve already made sure to purchase chemicals this year to prevent that from happening again. We're glad you brought any issues you or previous residents have experienced with my staff as it is not our standard to be rude to anyone we come into contact with here at Northlake Village Apartments. As for the water heater, we believe we emailed with you today letting you know that the contact center entered your no hot water heater as a standard service request instead of an emergency which we have reached out to make sure this doesn’t happen again to anyone. Currently as of today 2/28/2022 we do have a maintenance member over at your apartment taking care of the hot water heater. Again, we are sorry to hear we did not meet your expectations and appreciate your feedback. Thank you, Northlake Village
I decided on this complex back in April of 2020 with high hopes. the apartment was very nice at first with beautiful appliances. But this took a turn for the worst. To start our rent would continuously go up and down. it was never consistent which was very stressful. My bathtub was disgusting as it would overflow constantly and the drain was broken which meant i’d come home from work and just smell. The maintenance staff claimed to fix it several times but failed each time. They were underqualified and had no experience in fixing the issue. Then right when i moved in, not even a week into it my car was towed for being parked in their “handicap” space. They used improper signage and didn’t even bother to let me know that it was going to happen. It ruined my weekend and cost me upwards of 300 dollars to retrieve my car from downtown Indy. This also put me behind in rent. We then got a puppy and let them know prior and they still tried to make me pay the 100 dollar fee for not letting them know. Covid brought us tons of struggle with jobs and it made it hard to pay rent. we looked for assistance and never could receive any and they would keep adding more late fees. Since our tub would overflow with hot water, our water bill would go up and our gas bill would due to all the water leaking. The humidity damaged the walls and I had to pay to repair them even though it wasn’t my fault. The balcony door was not working properly and snow and water would get into the apartment constantly. I’m glad I moved out. My lease stated that i would pay double rent if i did not let them know 30 days prior to the move out. But they told me that I would owe an extra 2 months which is $3400 and said I had to let them 60 days prior. They broke the lease and weren’t lawful to what it said. I had to get out so I will pay the amount but it’s just ridiculous how much stress Northlake Village put on my life. Just the worst experience i’ve ever had.

Just so EVERYONE knows, they allow smoking in all their units which the entire building and common areas smell like smoke especially if you are upstairs and your downstairs neighbor is rude and smokes cigars and cigarettes inside! It's overbearing, disgusting, and makes your throat burn. I hate coming home to a place that smells like a casino!

Hi Amy, we are so sorry to see you have not had an excellent experience in our community. We would love to hear from you directly to learn more about ways we could improve.
I signed a lease with a move-in special for reduced rent. A year later a new management company took over and rewrote my lease, negating my reduced rent plus increasing my rent moving forward. I was also told I had to sign a new commitment six months in agreeing to a rent increase at the end of my current year's lease. If I did not sign the commitment then the rent would go up at the end of the year but by even more than what they were offereing at six months. My apartment had new carpeting, tile floors in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room, but the windows, doors and bathrooms were terribly outdated, as were the window blinds and light fixtures. Maintenance is sketch at best. Work orders online or verbally are addressed hit and miss. Part of the month rent includes treatment for bugs, but last year they added an addendum stating if bed bugs were found there would be an additional charge for treatment. They charged me $450 for treatment for bed bugs that came from a neighbor's apartment and would not allow me to secure my own extermination company, but then used their own maintenance guy who said he only sprays around the baseboards and door frames because bed bugs are too lazy to walk across carpeting. Any online site will tell you they travel through the ducts and electrical outlets. I found them on my walls but he did not spray the walls. When I disputed the charges for extermination because after a month there were still live bugs on the walls (I had since moved out because my apartment was not habitable in its current state and I had to get rid of my beds and living room furniture which their exterminator told me were infested) I was sent to a collection agency. The office staff are very nice to deal with but the people they work for are not nice people at all. I have since moved to a much nicer apartment for less rent, but at a great expense to me due to the infestation of my apartment at Northlake and their inability to control the situation (including the neighbor who had them first and then moved to another apartment within the same complex - taking the bed bugs with her to another building - which explains why she did not notify the office that she had bed bugs as she knew they would penalize her like they did me).
I moved to the complex in oct 2016. The apartment changed owners in the middle of 2017. When it came time to renew, we did but moved to a smaller unit. The new company has increased the rent whether or not it’s an updated unit and requires you to pay for sewer, water, and trash separately. We are only saving $12 after moving from a 2 room to a 1 room. Save yourself a headache and look elsewhere.

I lived at north lake for a full year lease term. I was in a down stairs apartment and the neighbors above me were absolutely horrible. They managed to pack in 5 kids, 2 adults, 1 grandma, and 4 dogs In a 3 bedroom apartment. There was a ton of noise all the time, whenever I called the office to ask them to deal with it I was either ignored, hung up on, or nothing was done. And when our lease was about up (about 2 months away from being done) they called us asking if we were renewing our lease and we told them no and asked if they needed the letter to verifying in writing . They told us no that a phone call was suffice . About a month away from our lease ending they gave us a letter saying that they raised our rent over $200 what we were paying because we didn't tell them about us leaving ? I called and got it straightened out and after we left and moved somewhere else , they found us somehow and sent us a letter saying we owe them $500 for baseboard cleaning and kitchen cleaning. They also said our carpet was completely destroyed by animals even though we NEVER had animals . And the carpet wasn't even ruined , it had a couple stains . This place is absolutely horrible .
An accommodating area to live with local shopping in minutes. The clubhouse hosts events for the residents to interact and win prizes each month. Your furry friends are even welcomed here with a large bark park and treats. For the fitness gyro, you can take a long stroll on a walking trail or get your fix in the fitness center. Additional benefits include a laundry center, playground, and a newly remodeled pool!
These apartments are huge and the neighborhood is wonderful. They have a very helpful maintence staff however they are older apartments have lived here for going on 3 years now and the rent has been raised every year for well over $100 more a month now approaching $1200 a month with no added amenities. They have a movie room and a 24hr fitness center (no bathroom access) and a laundry facility. Only 2 windows in my apartment can be opened and because of the location off of state road 37 am unable to use the patio because of noise. Love the apartment but will be forced to move if rent goes up again :( .
This is a great choice. The location is 3 minutes to SR37, 5 minutes to downtown Noblesville. Multiple choices for shopping, and restaurants minutes away. For families, Forest Park and the public library both less than 5 minutes out and a wonderful school system. The grounds are well kept. The pool and fitness center are clean and easily accessible. The apartment itself is a good size with great storage. The two bathrooms work great for me and my young daughter to each have our own space. The office staff are receptive and maintenance is responsive. A sense of community is fostered with many planned events for all residents. I would recommend it to family and friends.
The prices on the apartments are fair. The windows are crank windows which are a little hard to get open. After putting in several work orders, the repairman seemed to not know how to exactly fix things correctly. The sight of the high school across the street is nice, but school traffic makes it difficult during certain times of the day. The office staff is friendly and very helpful.
Pros: great maintenance staff, affordable, pool, fitness area, dog park, pet friendly, resident appreciation parties, rentable space , location Cons: dated appliances, older windows, crowded parking (though you can rent a covered space) Overall I would recommend to friends and family just wish we had newer windows and appliances!!
