Life in College Station pretty much revolves around Texas A&M University. The student body accounts for 60,000 people in a city of just over 100,000, and the university employs roughly 15% of the non-student population. The cultural impact of the university is tremendous, from the on-campus art, scholarly resources, and architecture to the thriving food, nightlife, and music scenes around town, and of course the exuberant Texas Aggies fandom.
Apartments and rental houses are available to suit every budget, from exceedingly affordable student rentals to more upscale homes. Parents will appreciate the vest selection of highly-rated public schools, and easy access to city parks gives everyone the opportunity to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Property Ratings at Northpoint Crossing
Management changed twice in the time I was here and their quality went downhill. They kept charging extra fees every month and in the end when moving out, they charged extra for cleaning and damages that didn't even exist. In addition, half the doors don't work or are broken; the hallways are bug infested; the garages are nightmare-level danger zones featuring tight spaces and hazardous turns that are a wonder it even passed city inspection.
This doesn’t deserve any stars to be honest. Nasty hallways filled with bugs and old food. Dangerous parking garages. Management is horrific. Kept my security deposit. The list goes on and on. Save your money and go somewhere else!
Make sure that you are ready to clean lot of bugs. The apartment manager will not do anything
My roomate’s and I are counting down the days until we can leave this hell hole of an apartment complex. It is outrageously expensive. Parking costs $60 a month. Our elevators break every time there is a thunderstorm and they have been broken for almost two months. People are trying to move out during the hot summer. Management is absolutely terrible at their core because ultimately they can’t get things done. Please do not sign a lease here it will be the worst decision you will ever make I promise you.
Wrongfully, and without presenting evidence, they charged us $140 for damages to the carpet and pain in the bedroom. We did not leave behind any damages and it is their responsibility to wash carpet or apply fresh paint before renting the apartment again. They sent our account to collections for those charges. They also charged us $91.58 for "community electric expenses". Normally the facility should be responsible for those charges. On top of it, they did not refund $250 deposit. Have called and sent emails a dozen times to get explanation and no one responds. Extremely disappointed with the management.
You will pay twice as much as you think you will. They have stupid charges. They add on 50-60 each, so I pay almost double. The management never answers questions, and it screws us over. I would give a 0 if I could. I have lived here for four years, and this last year they got new management that ruined everything up. The people who work the front are rude, and the apartment won't be cleaned when you love in like they say they will. DO NOT COME HERE. NOT WORTH THE HASSEL
Property Manager at Northpoint Crossing, Responded To This Review
This certainly doesn't sound like communicative and attentive customer care we pride ourselves on and I apologize if you haven't had a better experience with our community. I understand your frustration and will discuss this feedback with my team so we can have a kind and clear relationship with our residents moving forward. I hope to elevate your situation so please consider giving me a call went time allows. Thank you, Nolen - Assistant General Manager - 979-314-0823
Management removed a bunch of amenities and charged us a ton of extra charges. When I tried to contact them they did not respond
This place has a really good location. However there are roach infestations in many apartments and the management won't do anything about it!
Would not recommend! Look past all the 5 star reviews…the property manager lacks professionalism in returning phone calls and emails after multiple attempts, putting his employees in bad situations. As a new student looking for apartments Northpoint is very deceiving. When you first call about a problem the staff seems extremely accommodating but as time progresses you realize nothing is being done. Personally I think the staff who answers calls are great but the managers suck! I recently tried moving in early and the staff said I was at the top of the list to move in. After being told my room was cleaned two times, repainted, and I knew both my roommates, the managing staff still hasn’t allowed me to move in. They have no more excuses with two months of rent payed and multiple calls, I’m done. Official moving ASAP. I won’t be renewing my lease. Please don’t make the same mistake I have
I lived there for 3 years and they were a few things: Positives: location Negatives: 1) Horrible customer service: obviously no regard for their own residents they're only trying to get new people to sign at higher rates - no incentive for tenant loyalty. The student workers are great and welcoming, it is the management that acts childish, unprofessional and inconsiderate. 2) Not worth the money: they offer amenities and a great location. Their amenities are never clean, their workout equipment is not maintained and half of their machines are squeaky or broken so any workout buffs - find somewhere else to live. ALSO they have a switch for fans in the bedroom but obviously were cutting some corners for construction and the bedrooms have no fans so if you want to rely on shitty air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter this is the place for you. 3) Front desk: always chaotic, the front desk workers are very welcoming however if you ever have to talk to management I had so many unprofessional interactions and no consideration or willingness to work with any issues that might arise. They double charged me for rent and utilities for a few months and tried to blame it on me.... because obviously I would want to pay double rent and utilities... Whenever there is a miscommunication from their side of things, they never take responsibility nor compensate or apologize for any unprofessional interactions (especially the leasing management) Another instance of overall unprofessionalism: they WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOUR UTILITIES: if you're not careful and mindful of the amounts your spending, they will send you the same bill twice sometimes months apart to try and scam the same amount from the same bill people have already paid but they then pay again. . . ALSO they do not give refunds, accidentally pay them too much? you're not seeing that money ever again. Good Luck. 4) The doors vs lock system: For whatever reason they switched the locks to where 'you can leave your keys behind when you leave now' (because that makes so much sense...) and now you access your unit door with your phone (VERY HACK ABLE TBH) and you need a separate set of keys to get in through all the entrances (so you need to bring your keys with you anyway... even though you can leave your keys behind when you lock your door) Really just overall not a great place to live. Many many bad experiences that outweigh the very few good ones - really not worth your money.
This is probably the most over-rated apartment complex in college station. They try so hard to seem nice but in reality, their staff cant help you with any problem, broken glass is left in the hallways all year, vomit is left in the stairs and hallways for a week. Don't even try to walk in any grass because you will step in dog poop. Apartment garage is way too small and you will come close to an accident every day in there. Don't rely in their security because bikes get stolen all the time, all they are there to do it make sure you don't park in their precious retail parking that isn't used. There is a good chance you will be put on either Texas Ave. or University Dr. in which case you will hear nonstop radios from cars and sirens driving by. Live somewhere else.
SO many problems before we even moved in. Staff is flakey and under informed. They give false information, and inaccurate information when asked questions. Always weeks behind on emails and phone calls that we were told we would receive. Staff members would tell us many different stories, no one was on the same page. Overall very unorganized. Don't live here.
Regretting my decision daily to live here. The office staff labels this place as "luxury" but it is far from it. First off, management is all college kids that are too soft and therefore do not enforce any of their so called "rules". Random folks can easily access the apartments from University drive due to the buildings being hilariously insecure. There have been people "fishing" for people to open the door to their apartments at 2.am. Good luck trying to find a pool stick or ping pong paddles as they are stolen weekly. The study rooms and gyms and pools are filled with people that don't live here. They also do not clean the pools here, the pool guy just overloads it with chemicals that cloud the pool. The fumes from it swell your eyes shut!! I should be able to see my feet in 3 feet of water!! Not one grill works. The parking garages are also disgusting, littered with glass, trash, vomit, urine, etc. They have yet to power wash it in the 2 years that I have lived here even though they have promised me and others it would be done multiple times. I suggest that before you visit this property, to park in one of the garages and walk around the property first before they take you to their show rooms.
So I subleased here over the summer and then I moved in for the fall of 2015. I was not happy at first over the summer cause my roommates where really messy and they never cleaned up. The apartment was ok when it comes to cleaning the hallways and elevators. But is over all very nice. Now I love it here. My roommates are awesome. I have an amazing view of the golf course. And I have a balcony which makes it feel so much like a city. The new amenities in the new building along with the new pool are just over all amazing. I would recommend this please to anyone wanting a very city feel to your apartment.
When I was first looking for apartments they seemed great and beautiful and everything seemed awesome about them. But right before I moved in, I had so much trouble getting my first months rent paid and they weren't very helpful in getting my situation fixed or handled. Some other residents have told me that there was a cricket problem all last year, and that the parking garages are death traps due to the way they were built, like set up wise. If you're interested, really do your research for other places around too.
