Property Ratings at Northridge Estates/Perfect Location
I have lived here for five years now and have seen the staff regularly cause they are always around. My friends who live up the road never have staff available and there property is loaded with trash all over and unruly people. I always run into the maintenance guy, see the cleaning lady, and the manager always answers the calls if something breaks or question. If she doesn't, its usually cause she is out on the grounds mowing or removing snow so I can still get ahold of her by going out and talking to her. Just great to see the staff keeping the property in order and always available. Even after hours there is guy who lives here that takes care of issues. After seeing my friends struggle to get ahold of anyone, I realized how important it is to have people around all the time to keep the property looking good and get right on something if it happens to break. Plus my apartment is huge and nice with a super large balcony. I can fit my grill and a nice lounging set with chairs and a table. My friends unit has a big air conditioner on his patio that takes up half the balcony. Didn't realize how good I had it til I visited another place.
Always answer the phone and work orders done within the same day. Last place I lived never answered the phone. This is a rare find these days
I’ve been here for quite some time and it shines for a few reasons. A couple things that stand out are that the location is amazing as well as the staff here! They are so helpful with any questions or repairs and they accomplish these as quickly as possible. Make this place your home and you absolutely won’t regret it!!
Wonderful location with I-29 right down the road. You get lots of spacious living, including a large deck! My favorite is that it’s the cheapest place in town during this inflation. Some bonuses are heated garage, in unit laundry and large windows!
I have been living here for over 2 years and have always been very impressed with the location right off the interstate, along with the much more affordable rates for rent. Having laundry in unit is a huge plus ??
Very spacious apartment for the price! The apartments are larger than any other in the area. Staff are friendly and responses to questions and maintenance requests are quicker than any other place I’ve lived.
Great location right off I-29. Pretty spacious and nice quality appliances. Best bang for your buck apartment in north sioux falls. A couple alright but not great things about these apartments is theres not enough parking places/garages. And also because of the field in the back and living on the first floor we have quite a few bugs creeping into our apartment and debris in our patio. One thing that could be upgraded is a full size wash/dryer and new floors. Very Happy with this place though as i have lived here for a year and a half and just signed another year lease.
I really like to live at Northridge Estates. The first thing I like is the location. The traffic is minimal and there is quick access to I29 Interstate. The second thing I like is that because I own a dog there is a lot of space around the apartment to walk with him. I also really like my apartment. The space and bedrooms make it a wonderful place to live. I would recommend to Northridge estates to anyone.
This apartment is a great place to live as it is conveniently located near I29. Maintenance is friendly and helpful at getting to your needs if they ever arise. Underground parking is also extremely convenient for those winter months! Totally recommend this apartment complex to anyone!
I have lived here for over three years and have had very little issues. The only time I had a maintenance issue, when my fridge died, it was replaced in a half hour on a Saturday! Great location as it’s one stoplight away from the interstate!

I have lived here for a few years and have enjoyed it. Property manager is excellent, maintenance friendly and gets repairs done quickly. I enjoy that they provide a meal during holidays. High recommended.
Great unit size and great neighbors. Everyone is very respectful. Leasing Mgr responds to any requests promptly and maintenance is always available for any needed repairs. They celebrate holiday seasons with brunch for the tenants. Love it here!
I've been living in the building for 5+ years and I cannot believe how quiet it is. I often do not hear neighbors during peak hours, and everyone is respectful of late hours and being disruptive. Maintenance is attentive, and fixes any issues in a timely manner. Property manager deals with issues that arise swiftly and efficiently, ensuring a great environment for all tenants.
They keep up well with the maintenance on both of the buildings! They are respectful of property and communication on when and what is going to be happening! The maintenance man is wonderful also he is polite and always willing to help you out any time of day!
The cleaning staff on hand does an amazing job. Is already keeping things clean and in neat order.

The apartments are such a nice size! It also allows for animals as well! I have been living here for a little over a year now and it has just been amazing. The apartment unit is such a cozy place to live.
Apartments are huge and very modern color tones. Loved the maple cabinets as so many places use outdated oak or white plywood. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Nice gym, huge elevators, and heated parking were an extra bonus.
Manager does not keep the place up and the maintenance man is very rude. No enforcement of people picking up after their pets and the elevator was broke more often than in use. When we moved out the manager rescheduled our walk through so we did not get to do that because we needed to be in our new apartment. We ended up getting harassed for over a year about “damages” we did. I guess you can’t hang shelving up and patch the 1/8th inch holes without getting your entire deposit revoked plus paying extra just to paint an apartment. I strongly suggest to stay away.
I have never been treated so poorly by a business or person. The manager will be nice until you need something or have an issue and then she treats you like the plague. The walls are extremely thin, and you can hear everything neighbors are saying. Also maintenance issues are always fixed so cheap that they never stay fixed or aren't fixed properly to begin with. It's also very difficult to reach management. There are much better options in Sioux Falls.
I left a review called Great Apartments, but I spoke too soon. First, let me start by saying that over the years I have rented around 20 homes. 100% of the time I have gotten 100% of my deposit back. Northridge Estates is the first in a long history of doing the right thing and earning back my entire deposit that this did not turn out to be the case. This should tell you something. And be leery if you choose to rent here or care about getting your money back. When I moved into the apartment, it was filthy. I took around 20 photographs and sent a few of them to management because I did want to be held responsible when I moved out. Despite all that, I cleaned even the things that I was given dirty before I moved out. When I showed up for my required, scheduled walk through after I moved out, the Manager stopped me on the way in and said "I was already up there - everything looks great." I wanted to confirm and asked "So there are no issues?" She said "Nope. I just need your forwarding address to send your deposit check." When I received a small portion of my deposit back, it came with a list of things she found and charged me for. Some being those I had photos of that were how the apartment was before I moved in and some wear and tear things that I have literally no control of. So, the bottom line is that I was denied my rightful opportunity to do the walk through with the Manager, she lied to my face by telling me there were no issues, and she wrongfully kept my money as a result. I have never left a negative review before because I think customer service is so subjective. But this is downright unethical. It is unethical.
These apartments are nice, very spacious, and have plenty of storage space which can be hard to find in apartments. It has a good workout room and social gathering room as well. The walls are a tad thin, but I have yet to find an apartment where they weren't. It is one of the downsides of apartment living. The property is well maintained and I never had any issues with maintenance or responses. Management even went over and above to help me with the one concern I had while living there and it was resolved quickly and with kindness and flexibility. The location is good and in a quiet part of town. I have read all of the other reviews on several websites/search sites. I believe that if you are a responsible tenant, you will not have any issues with this complex or its management. It is a nice and comfortable place to live.
The place looks so nice but the walls are so thin. We can hear our neighbors very clearly. We can hear every word from their tv. It is a nightmare!!!
Everything is great until you need maintenance to fix something. Very hard to get ahold of. Air conditioning has gone out repeatedly and each time it takes 3 weeks to fix, in the middle of summer, when it's 90-100 degrees outside. Not fun.
It's been 3 months since my fiance and I moved in and we love it. Very family friendly. I have yet to hear my neighbors through the walls which is nice because I work very early in the morning. Being a new, expanding part of town, there aren't many options of entertainment close by.Wal-Mart is a mile or so north and the interstate is within a stone throw. Overall, we are very happy to have chosen to live here.
Northridge Estates is a wonderful place to live. It is very quiet and it is close to work and school! STI is within walking distance. The only downside, the main building has the gym and community area and there is no pool. The apartments are large and the amenities that are included are fantastic.
This rental property is the perfect place for a college student. I am less then a half mile away from campus and not far from the areas shopping center. Compared to other locations in the area this apartment has secured access, underground parking and a wellness center so this location has all the amenities a college student could need. The location of this property is in an area that in the next few years will become more developed. It's the perfect placed to live as I continue my education and its a great contender that is considered for long term housing beyond school.
