Property Ratings at Northridge Meadow Apartments
Management is an absolute joke. Zero professionalism, horrible maintenance lag, lack of care towards tenants. Apartment burned down and now they are refusing to pay me back the money they owe me. Lawyers will be reaching out soon.
Everything. It is a horrible complex. The management is rude, inconsiderate and they refuse to provide actual leases to push people out and have lawyers backing them. Raw sewage constantly backing up into units, severe bug problems, mold running rampant and so many other problems.
My roommate and I have been living at Northridge Meadows for about 1.5 years. It’s safe to say that once our lease ends, we’re done here. Management took advantage of us trying to find an apartment and forced us into an upgraded unit that only had appliances updated. Everything that was replaced before our move in were required by management anyways because the tenant before us lived there for 20+ years and supposedly hadn’t updated anything for at least a decade. These previous tenants also smoked inside their apartment during their time here, leaving buildup on every possible surface. Even after being here for over a year, we still deal with this yellow buildup leaking from our vents. When management was contacted they said they do not service “vent cleaning” and did nothing further. I’ll save everyone the time with every other issue we’ve had with them as long as you save yourself some time and skip over this place. Even as college students with low standards my roommate and I are baffled at some of the things management has done.
Current resident, these people are terrible, the apartment is basic for the amount asked, you never get a straight answer on maintenance or anything else. They also pay you utilities bills without your knowledge, and then charge you for the bill and an admin fee so a simple 66 dollar bill, could turn into an extra 160 in rent. All hidden in the print of the terrible lease . My fridge won't stay shut, two walls in my place don't have power, I can go on and on. Crazy part only been here a couple months, wouldn't recommend to the homeless.
Management is absent. Every maintenance request submitted is never fully fixed. Rent is too high for how small the apartment is. You have to run the water for 20 minutes just to get it to Luke warm not even hot. There are no amenities. There are laundry facilities but you have to pay and most times you have to pay for the dryer twice. Told me I was getting one apartment and when I got there it was completely different.
Nice neighborhood, spacious apartment with beautiful fully covered patio. Well managed apartment complex. I’ve been living here for 5 years now. All the issues I had were addressed immediately. The maintenance guy Miguel, very helpful. Marissa, the office manager is always willing to help and very pleasant. Overall A
We have lived here for about a year and a half and we CANNOT wait to move out. The hallways always smell like a dirty public bathroom. The office is never open and when you try to contact the office manager by phone or email she never answers. So when it comes to maintenance we always have to fix everything ourself. First was we were missing an oven rack and the lady tried saying most ovens only come with one. Never have I seen an oven come with one rack. So to replace the one we had missing they took one from another oven in our apartment. So now another apartment is miss one. But the big one was when our hot water handle broke on our faucet in the kitchen. We contacted and even went into the office to get it repaired. When my boyfriend told the office manager to call me to set up a time to get it fixed she tried to claim I never applied and wasn’t on the lease. Which both of our names were on the new lease we signed in April. And its been 4 WEEKS and the handle never got fixed. I had to super glue it together so we could finally get hot water. I regret moving here and highly recommend no one else move in either.
I complained about bees I've had for two months (till today) and management sent me a "Notice to Vacate!" It's a crappy apartment for the price, OLD, BUGS constantly FREEZING in the winter, hot in summer, SEWER GAS stink, garbage disposal backup, mice, standing water, HUGE patches of ice NO one de-ices and ON. Management will NOT FIX anything YOU want. They WILL jack up prices to pave the road and paint the building. You're paying for hot water you'll never get, especially if your neighbor runs their sink; which sounds like they're in your apartment. Tenants got locked out of their own building and maintenance didn't consider it emergency to fix. I had to crawl through my bedroom window to get in. Front door was duct taped open for a week. Door knob on laundry door broke with tenants stuff inside. The insects are enormous and they ARE EVERYWHERE. First and second floor, whoever gave this apartment building 5 stars must be living here for free. This place is falling apartment. Hey, I still have bees. The manager told me he did everything possible? Really? I doubt it.
Check out Yelp reviews. Someone posted pics! This place wants all the money for the location buts offers NOTHING in return. I've been here for a short time and can confidently say, GO ELSEWHERE. Five of my friends moved out! They do not upkeep the problems that matter to tenants. YOu can ask till you're blue in the face. It's not going to happen. Things to expect: bugs, crappy balcony door, nasty plumbing, broken washer, and dryer and more. The apartments are decorated circa 1970's!! Ugh! Laughable!
I have been a tenant for 5 months and I can't wait to leave. My issues are as follows: 1. Living on the first floor is the absolute worst. I can literally hear every step the people up stairs make. Before I moved in , I asked the person if that would be a problem and she flat out lied. Remember all one bedrooms are on the bottom floor. 2. For the first 3 months anytime the people upstairs took a bath, my bathroom would flood. Maintenance claimed it was fixed after the first time but it wasn't. 3. Playgrounds are dangerous and need to be updated. 4. Leasing office is never open. Since there is only one person running it, if she leaves the office is closed until she returns In general I would not recommend living here. For the money I am paying I feel the tenants deserve much better.
I was a tenant Of Northridge Meadow Apartment for more than 1 year. You can never trust what they say. When I made a contract with them, they told me the gas is included, but after 8 months they said you will be responsible for gas payement with the reasoning that it is not written in your contract that gas is included. I had no choice but to accept to pay gas for the rest of upcoming months. When I moved out they charged another $400 for the gas bill which i never recieved in the begining, and they deducted the $400 from my deposit without my knowledge.
I have lived here for 3 years. The apartments are quiet, and affordable to live in a good neighborhood. I don't worry about anything here crime wise and the neighbors are friendly.
I like my Apt. However I am over not having my own washer & dyer! Looking for a Apt. doggie friendly ,good waling area by Jan.2016
